He tries to provide free advice through this medium. But often, vegans come after him. He doesn't like to block them, but they're so crazy. Unfortunately, they aren't there for conversation, they're just their to clog the conversation. This is personal, and sometimes they go ad hominem. LOSING MUSCLE In our 30s, we stop building muscle. Instead, we lose a pound or so a year if we don't do anything. But, you can keep (and grow) these muscles. It doesn't matter what age you are, your muscle fibers grow the same. That said, you might need more recovery as you get older. Think of Reagan -- he gained a ton of muscle after the assassination attempt. He needed new suits at 70 because of his muscle! Work the muscles you want to keep! It's that simple. Do a little every day, over the course of the day. Even getting up to move around can help with this. Weight lifting has lots of benefit for many. If you're fat adapted, you can do those ultra events without all of the sugary and carby products. When you're fueling on sugar and carbs, you're going to have to consume so much more often. Fuel from fat burns slower--in a good way.  Vinnie also found that his stomach was so much worse during races when he ate all this sugar. He would puke. Now that he doesn't fuel with sugar, that's largely gone away. Do you want to eat Gu every 20 minutes, or just have some nut butters and the like every couple hours? As you can imagine, one is definitely better for your body (and brain!). It does take time to get fat adapted -- commit, and you'll benefit as Vinnie, Gina's fiancé, and so many others have. Once you're fat adapted, it takes a bit to turn that fat into energy. It's a slower burn, but your brain prefers it, and your body works great.
