Winton Woods (12-1) was a Division II regional semifinalist last season after the Warriors won the 2021 state title. "This team has a lot of experience returning," Murphy said. "The thing I like most is they've felt what it's like to hoist a trophy after 16 weeks in 2021 and to turn equipment in after Week 13 (in 2022)." Winton Woods returns several key players including senior quarterback Van George, senior wide receiver Tra'mar Harris (Purdue verbal commit) and junior offensive tackle Raphael Greene, one of Ohio's top players in the 2025 class. The defense is led by several players including defensive tackle Cameron Jackson, who is a three-year starter. Defensive tackle Delan Massey-Wright was a Division II first-team all-state player in 2022. Junior linebacker Justin Hill - one of Ohio's top players in the 2025 class - has several significant scholarship offers including Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Texas A&M and Notre Dame. The Warriors also feature senior Zae Jennings, a West Virginia verbal commit, who played quarterback at Colerain last season. For Wednesday's episode of The Sports Scouting Report Podcast With Lee Brecheen, Lee went to see Bastrop High School play Walker High School last Friday night and while he was there, he was able to interview some people at the game. Cameron Jackson is a 2014 BYU-Idaho Construction Management graduate. While in school, Cameron did an internship as a project engineer first for The BOLDT Company and then Swinerton Builders with both companies being be based out of Sacramento California. In 2016, Cameron made an adventurous choice and moved to the bay area to work for a fully integrated modular company, known as RAD Urban. He continued to work for them as a Senior Project Engineer and later Project Manager until 2020 when Cameron left to join a few others to co-found another fully integrated modular company where they are developing and delivering new manufacturing concepts.

Welcome to another episode of GEEKS CORNER! This week there is a LOT of ground for the geeks to cover during the episode. This last week the Disneyland Resort stopped work on a potential hotel that would have been on the grounds to the west of the Monorail in Downtown Disney. This came after issues with the city of Anaheim regarding taxes on the new hotel. This week tickets go on sale for the D23 Expo. The geeks share what they are most excited about at next year's expo. Mickey Mouse's 90th birthday is coming on November 18th. The celebration that will come with it will span the world and is being billed as the World's Biggest Mouse Party. At Disneyland, Halloween merchandise has arrived ahead of Halloween Time. What's your favorite offering? Over the weekend, Mr. DAPs attended the opening of Star Wars to Snow White - A Disney Fine Art Exhibit at the Chuck Jones gallery at the Anaheim Gardenwalk.
