Practice using the beginning Psalm 27:1 as your breath prayer. Jesus is your light. Jesus is your salvation. With Him as your light and salvation, whom shall you fear? Our breath is animated by what is going on in our mind and hearts. In the Advent account, King Herod is breathing out murderous plots against Jesus as a young child. He is ruthless, willing to execute any young boy under 2 years old in order to snuff out the heir to the throne, Matthew 2:13, 16. It's a dramatic account that brings into focus early that Jesus came to die. And many sought His life. The Child that was given was born as a sacrifice for you and me. It's first century Bethlehem and you hear rumors that a young teenage girl is very pregnant. You hear that she spent 3 months away from her husband and came back showing. She's coming to town and they need a place to stay. Without the benefit of 2k+ years of revelation and work of the Holy Spirit in people's hearts, you'll be placed in the setting. When we pray the scripture we can discover a fairy tale, but one that is true. There is an "other world" experience with Jesus if we have eyes to see, if our hearts are open to the whispers. We can enter there through scripture. We have a God who counts the stars and calls them all by name, Psalm 147:4. In the very same breath, He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds, Psalm 147:3. He is bidding us to come out underneath the stars, while it is still dark. He has a display and secret place of shelter in the stillness and quiet. He will whisper His love as we position to open up and worship Him. He responds to a language of love in our prayers and will pour out more back to us than we could ever give to Him. So position to worship. Come into agreement. Let Him hear your agreement. Pray out loud. Use the time at the end to express your worship in your own words. And ask for healing, ask for him to minister to your wounds. Blessings!

God's glory is so much more than a brilliant light or splendor. Do you know what God's glory is? What images are found in His glory. This is not a podcast to listen somewhere in the middle. My words need to be listened to in context. There is a comparison I am giving of what worldly thought is for meditation practice versus what God says to meditate upon. We are all consumed with ourselves and God turns us away from meditating upon ourselves or potential. Listen in for God's instruction and then challenge yourself to meditate more intently the way He is calling you to do. Our breath prayer exercise is on releasing burden and asking for supernatural transformation into gentleness. The world is loud and aggressive and we are easily molded by our surroundings. It is a work of the Spirit to remain soft and gentle in trying relationships and circumstances. In Luke 9:18-20, we find Jesus asking his disciples who the crowds said that He was. And then He asks His disciples for their opinion of them. Peter answers correctly, but the revelation was not yet complete for him. Peter, as well as all the disciples were in a continually unfolding revelatin of who Christ was. Today, you'll go through that process using the letters of the alphabet. Use the prompts as given and then take the pauses to insert your own language of worship into this time with God! Today we use worshipful language from Psalm 5, words of an ancient warrior King, King David. He knew the authority of God. He believed in the authority of God. He BELIEVED he came in prayer speaking with the King of all! He saw the divine intervention of God on his behalf. His language in approaching God was worshipful, reverent. He honored God as holy and spoke in possessive language to God, my King... my God. So let's take a cue from King David and approach God in the same way. See how it affects the language of your heart. See how it changes the tone of your prayers. Blessings!

Psalm 103:1-5 are words of praise inspiration to use for time in God's presence! He forgives! He heals! He redeems! He crowns! He satisifies! He renews! Have your bible open as you enter into this worshipful prayer. Simply listen and follow the prompts! Blessings in His presence!

God wants to relieve burden and one of the ways this happens is by turning from our consuming worries. We are to worship. He teaches His disciples that God knows what we need before we ask. And then He says, "this is how you should pray..." He tells them to begin in worship of the Father in Heaven and asking for His kingdom to come, His will to be done.."
