The last couple of weeks have been interesting for those of us who try and think biblically about current events. What I've noticed as I've looked through headlines and seen the stories that are being reported is that they fall into two broad categories: either the absence of truth or the absence of grace. Truth and grace, seemingly a paradox and yet two sides of the same coin that define how we as followers of Jesus Christ are meant to live our lives.Michael R. New data show that the more you are in front of a screen, the less your brain can retain information.
Democrats think their electoral success will come from attacking ICE. Plus, even as unpopular as the GOP and President Trump might be nationally, voters still think Democrats are too insane for power.

Trump had a closed-door campaign meeting, and we have some details. Plus, the left is giving Jasmine Crockett the 2016 Bernie Sanders treatment.
As Christians, how do we navigate our politics without losing our way? Plus, even though the national scene doesn't look particularly great, the GOP still dominates state-level politics.
The left can't govern their cities but insist that raising taxes will fix things. Plus, the Trump administration is fumbling on Iran just like Obama did.
Steve Bannon is having a very bad month. A Missouri investor named Andrew Bar has filed a lawsuit against Bannon and fellow MAGA operative Boris Epstein over the now-defunct FJB coin cryptocurrency, alleging nearly $59,000 in losses on a $60,000 investment. Hawk walks through the details of the FJB coin operation, including the suspicious 8% transaction fee structure that promised charitable donations to causes like veterans care but allegedly redirected funds to high-risk investments in obscure coins. With $2.7 million in transaction fees reportedly unaccounted for and investor wallets frozen since early 2025, the lawsuit is seeking class action status. This is not Bannon's first financial scandal. He was pardoned by Trump after a federal indictment tied to the fraudulent We Build the Wall fundraiser, which raised tens of millions in small-dollar donations from Trump supporters before Bannon and associates allegedly pocketed the money. He later pleaded guilty to felony fraud charges at the state level brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James, and served four months in federal prison for contempt of Congress.Meanwhile, newly released Jeffrey Epstein files reveal that on the very day Epstein was arrested for sex trafficking in July 2019, Bannon was texting him about filming a documentary on Epstein Island. Months earlier, Bannon had advised Epstein to "crush the pedophilia trafficking narrative." The texts have triggered a wave of condemnation from figures across the conservative media landscape, including Elon Musk, Roger Stone, and radio host Erick Erickson. MAGA is turning on one of its own. Erick shares memories of the late Rev. Jesse Jackson and actor Robert Duvall, high profile personalities at opposite ends of the political spectrums who both passed this week. He also shares thoughts about Sen. Mark Kelly as a presidential prospect, what's going on with the partial government shutdown, and more. Hear more every afternoon with Erick Erickson from noon to 3pm.
China is good at much more than theft, which is why their PR campaign is on overdrive. Plus, Europe needs to get its act together as people go to jail for longer because of speech infractions than murder.
California is compromising our national security due to its insane environmental policy. Plus, the AWFULs have traded in their cats for a cause, and it's turning out poorly for everyone.
Thomas Massie has become the congressional court jester who ruined a man's life with an incorrect allegation of impropriety. It's time for him to be voted out. Plus, Texas Republicans are poised to pull a Herschel Walker by nominating Ken Paxton.
Josh opens the show by breaking down Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s headline-grabbing speech in Germany. He explains why Rubio’s address was a home run, what message it sent to Europe and America’s adversaries, and what comes next following the powerful remarks. Josh also discusses why he believes Europe has become a shadow of its former self and argues that the time has come for European leaders to stop apologizing and start leading. He then turns to the latest developments in Iran as protests continue across the country, calling out what he sees as the deafening silence from many Democrats and why he believes that silence effectively sides with the ruling regime. Later, Josh is joined by Erick Erickson, host of The Erick Erickson Show, to preview the 2026 midterm elections and lay out what Republicans must do to maintain control of both the House and Senate. To close the episode, Josh reflects on the history of Presidents' Day and shares what the holiday means to him personally.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Trump starts to walk back some tariffs because he's finally seeing what we said would happen, prices rising on American consumers. Plus, Trump has to get the loose cannons in his administration under control before the midterms.
The Democrats partially shut down DHS at a time they are seen as far too liberal by a majority of the public. Plus, Trump decides we don't need to prop up green energy as much as we have, and predictably the left thinks we are all going to die.
Great Britain sides with Islam and the r*pe gangs. Plus, what are the real concerns surrounding AI, data centers and energy consumption?
PLUS: a SE Georgia community wants nowhere near a nickel refinery, McBath brilliantly plays Pam Bondi & GA Repub infighting ratchets upIn Northwest Georgia, Republican Rep. Kasey Carpenter is reviving legislation that would shield carpet manufacturers from PFAS “forever chemical” lawsuits, even though investigations have found contamination in local water and communities. Democratic Congressional candidate Shawn Harris has the preferable messaging, but he's not running against Carpenter; so where is the Georgia HD 4 candidate who will, Ron wonders. Meanwhile, Richmond Hill residents are fighting a proposed nickel refinery near schools and wetlands, drawing painful parallels to the 2024 Conyers chemical fire. Hear Ron catch up with a friend who moved, with her husband and daughter, from Conyers fresh off a 2024 environmental disaster, who'd like to avoid having moved to the potential for another. Plus, the Georgia GOP governor's race takes a dramatic turn as new polling shakes up the field, and Ron highlights how the RNC is looking to let Donald Trump decide who should be Georgia Republicans' nominee instead of voters. Then, of course, there's more legal infighting about fundraising, because, of course Repubs who champaign unfettered money in politics can also hate the unfairness of money in politics.Lost in all the Pam Bondi noise was this brilliant, powerful exchange between Rep. Lucy McBath and Attorney General Pam Bondi during a heated House hearing. That said, it's hard not to enjoy / revisit the popcorn-snacking exchanges that has even conservative pundit Erick Erickson calling for Bondi's ouster. AJC contributor Jamie Dupree sums up the fruitlessness of the GOP's clamoring over the SAVE Act as Ron notes the deep flaws that'll even impact MAGA voters. Lastly, between Bondi's antics and the reaction to 'Bad Bunny' by Megyn Kelly, it has to be pointed out that it's notable what MAGA conservative get worked up about and what they don't. Florida-based minister Joe Smith wrote in his Substack about the dichotomy, and there's something for misguided MAGAs (and sometimes even outraged liberals) to do some soul-searching over.Tune in to catch the Ron Show weekdays from 4-6pm Eastern time on Georgia NOW! Trump's play for Iran is working out in real time, but there is division in the White House. I also discuss things white progressives say.
Trump is using his superpower to direct the media, but they're trying to go where the clicks are, not the actual story. Also, the administration's continuous fumbling on 2A isn't going to help the midterms.
It's a bad idea for Republicans to put on a show trial of the Clintons. Plus, it's clear that republicans had no real plan when it came to the redistricting fight.
Tom Homan and ICE are still dealing with the mess Kristy Noem left behind. The GOP needs to stop their push to blow up the filibuster. Plus, there is too much social currency in being a victim.
We need to set the record straight about the constitutionality of the SAVE Act. Plus, some artist named Shaboozey is dealing with the fallout of his Grammy speech.
Sanity might be breaking through with a successful lawsuit against the butchers who engage in trans-surgeries. Plus, Spanish communist's think dogs need to be killed so they can import more Muslims to Spain.
Look all over the country and all you'll see is abject failure where progressives are in charge when any kind of emergency takes place. Plus, crime is down in the US, and we have President Trump to thank for it.
