A lot of people want “police reform,” but they argue about the loudest moments and ignore the everyday mechanics that actually decide whether a community feels safe or targeted. We sit down with Sean Lozano, a Florida cop turned political operative and now a candidate for lieutenant governor, to talk about what he saw on the street and what he thinks has to change in the system behind it. He's blunt about why many people become cops, why “good intentions” collapse without training, and why the public's frustration often comes from small constitutional violations that stack up over time.We get specific about law enforcement accountability: stopping bad behavior in the moment, challenging supervisors who don't understand basic legal standards, and ending the culture where agencies “audit themselves” and declare everything fine. We also dig into budgets and priorities, from expired vests and thin training schedules to shiny tech purchases that don't move the needle. Then we widen the lens to the courts, because street work means less when prosecutors plead serious cases down with no explanation. If discretion is real, the public should be able to see how it's used. The second half turns practical with a body-cam style breakdown of a narcotics detention and foot chase, including what went right, what should be done differently, and why command presence is not the same thing as pointless aggression. We close with a hard conversation about license plate readers and Flock-style systems, surveillance creep, vendor access to data, and what real guardrails and criminal penalties for misuse should look like.Subscribe for more real talk about policing and the criminal justice system, share this with someone who has strong opinions on LPRs, and leave a review if you want more breakdowns like this. Andre Williams fires off raw one‑word labels for Jay‑Z, Obama, George Floyd, MLK, Drake, and Byron Donalds, breaks down James Fishback's viral “you should be lynched” moment, and explains how old Call of Duty lobbies and the alt‑right era shaped his views on speech and Trump.

Once again, we're catching up on the haps within the Trashy Divorces Cinematic Universe, and maybe adding some new names into the mix as well. Brand new wedding news is the talk of the town for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. New York socialite Libbie Mugrabi, who left her divorce from art collector David Mugrabi with a cool $100 million, is having to offload a mansion that was part of that settlement. Her lawyer will soon own the property at above-market rates. Shakira is off the hook for Spanish tax problems from 2011, at least until the prosecution service appeals. James Fishback is a weirdo running a surprisingly strong campaign for Florida's governor. He may also have just gotten married. And finally, we catch up on Katie Price and the no-longer-missing Alleged Lee Andrews. Want early, ad-free episodes, regular Dumpster Dives, bonus divorces, limited series, Zoom hangouts, and more? Alan Skorski recently interviewed Award-winning journalist and author of the watchdog Jewish news Substack, AFTER OCTOBER 7, Kevin Deutsch, to talk about the new state of America where Jews are being targeted by both the far left and far right. The interview opened with Skorski stating that deep blue states like NY elected Mamdani for Mayor in NYC, while in a solid red state like Florida, antisemite James Fishback is running as a GOP candidate for Governor while Dan Blizerian is challenging Jewish Republican Randy Fine for his Congressional seat. According to Deutsch, the Far left began their campaign against Israel as part of their “social justice” agenda, promoting the blood-libel accusing Israel of genocide in Gaza. On the far right, antisemites like James Fishback, running for Governor in Florida, exploited the left's antisemitism to advance their own vitriol against Jews. Deutsch revealed that so-called America-ONLY Fishback has received substantial donations form Democratic Muslims who support his antisemitism. According to Deutsch, the Democrats are done with Israel as was evidenced by 40 Democrat Senators who supported Bernie Sanders' bill to stop all military aid to Israel. Deutsch said that the GOP must put up a firewall to stop people like Fishback, or Israel will have no support in America, and Jews will be isolated. On drawing parallels between America today and 1930's Germany, Skorski said that Hitler created the “Nazi movement,” whereas today, movements have been created to turn the government against Israel. Deutsch said that Israel is being attacked by a professional propaganda campaign funded by Qatar and the Muslim Brotherhood, and supported by other left-wing NGO's that have overwhelmed Israel and their ability to fight the destructive information war. “The DSA, Democratic Socialist of America, like the Nazis, are employing a purity test” according to Deutsch, where opposing Israel, regardless of any other issue, is mandatory. The DSA is seating candidates at every level in every contest in America. Whether it's the school board or local civil rights commissions, the DSA are getting their candidates in. It's a bottom-up movement that is turning Jews into proxies for Israel. On the topic of AIPAC-TRACKER, which posts which candidates receive funding from AIPAC, the 2-person group is made up of a Marxist and Groyper. They have singled out AIPAC in order to strip Jews of their civil rights to support Israel. Kevin Deutsch talked about “tokenization,” where he cited J Street, Rahm Emmanuel, and disappointingly, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, who, through their public bashing of Israel, have created a “social permission structure” to the left to bash Israel, and by extension, the Jews. When the MAGA phenomenon first took off in 2016, the term evoked nationalism and racism, but it cast a wide enough tent for most Republicans to feel comfortable joining in. Ten years later, the term has mutated, and so have MAGA candidates. Look no further than the hot, sweaty, iguana-riddled, environmentally atrophying state of Florida, where James Fishback and Dan Bilzerian are seeking public office. Both candidates are open bigots who talk like humanoid 4chan threads, and it's hard to understand who all of this is for. Jared and Mike also take stock of Trump's mental wellness in the context of his feud with the Pope, and consider how badly Viktor Orbán's defeat looks for a movement that can't seem to find wins. Republican candidate for Governor of California James Fishback is one of the most-talked about political candidates in recent memory - but at the time of recording this episode, he has just a 10% chance of winning on Polymarket. He's stayed in the race with a novel strategy of rage baiting - such as referring to his opponent Byron Donalds as ‘AIPAC Shakur' - and by proposing some very radical policies, such as a ‘sin tax' which aims to raise millions of dollars from the pockets of adult creators. He joins Piers Morgan, before going head-to-head with OF creator Sophie Rain, who's made over $100m in the last two years. Pastor Joel Webbon interviews Florida gubernatorial candidate James Fishback, pressing why voters should trust him amid controversy and his past commentary on Israel and the Free Press. Fishback describes his debate background, says he misread some campus unrest as antisemitism, and argues his campaign is building cross-aisle grassroots support ahead of the August 18 primary. The conversation centers on Fishback's zero-compromise anti-abortion agenda, including closing clinics, replacing them with 24/7 crisis pregnancy centers, supporting paid maternity leave, penalizing everyone involved in abortions, and prosecuting mail-order abortion-pill CEOs. He argues Dobbs was insufficient and says he would use the 14th Amendment to pursue equal protection/personhood for the unborn, including bringing a case to the Supreme Court. They also discuss taxing OnlyFans heavily.*SPONSORS:*iTrustCapital - Want to diversify your retirement beyond stocks and bonds? iTrustCapital lets you buy and sell Bitcoin, Ethereum, gold, and silver inside a tax-advantaged account.Sign up and fund a new account to receive a $100 funding bonus:https://www.itrustcapital.com/go/nxrstudiosPaleovalley – If you're trying to eat clean but still need something convenient, these 100% grass-fed beef sticks are a solid option. In early February, clips began circulating from Trump's Religious Liberty Commission hearing, where the former Miss California Carrie Prejean Boller challenged Jewish activists Yitzhak Frankel and Shabbos Kestenbaum about the killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza and the conflation of anti-Zionism and antisemitism. Notably, Prejean Boller framed her opposition to political Zionism in terms of her Catholicism: “I'm a Catholic and Catholics do not embrace Zionism,” she said. She raised the charge of deicide, reading the New Testament verse about the Jews killing Jesus and questioning a panelist about whether he would have tech platforms censor the Bible on account of antisemitism claims. And she challenged the theology undergirding evangelical support for Zionism, dispensationalism, which understands Jews as God's chosen people that help fulfill the end times prophecy by settling in the land of Israel. A number of prominent “America First” isolationists are Catholic, including Pat Buchanan, one of the fathers of America First paleoconservatism who famously opposed the Iraq War. Vice President J.D. Vance, Heritage Foundation president Kevin Roberts, far-right strategist Steve Bannon, and columnist Sohrab Ahmari are all America Firsters skeptical of foreign intervention. Catholicism also appears dominant among a cohort of extremist Groyper-style figures infusing their anti-Israel worldview with classically antisemitic language and ideas, including streamers Nick Fuentes and Candace Owens, the Florida gubernatorial candidate James Fishback, and now Prejean Boller, who has aligned herself with Owens in particular. On this episode of On the Nose, Jewish Currents editor-in-chief Arielle Angel speaks with Matthew Cressler, author of the forthcoming Catholics and the Making of MAGA: How an Immigrant Church Became America's Law and Order Faith, and Julie Schumacher Cohen, co-author with Jordan Denari Duffner of the forthcoming Palestine, Israel, and Catholic Social Teaching: A Guide. They discuss how we should understand this apparent connection between skepticism about American intervention abroad and Catholicism. Cressler and Schumacher Cohen explain what Catholic theology has to say about Judaism, Zionism, and the modern political state of Israel. Jason Kander and Ravi Gupta break down the Pentagon's escalating showdown with Anthropic, as the Pentagon threatens to cut ties or invoke the Defense Production Act while new war-game research from King's College London shows models from OpenAI, Google, and others recommending nuclear use far more often than humans, alongside a viral video of Sam Altman. They analyze Donald Trump's State of the Union theatrics on the economy and culture wars, the “two-tier economy” warning from McDonald's's CEO, his use of the gallery for viral moments on immigration and trans issues, and stark rhetoric from Mike Johnson. Kander and Gupta also dive into the Epstein files, with NPR reporting missing Trump documents, arrests in the U.K. of Prince Andrew and Peter Mandelson, and renewed questions about why there's no U.S. accountability. Plus, they discuss the tariff decision and the fallout from attacks on the Supreme Court, including warnings from National Review's Andrew McCarthy, an ICE training whistleblower, flight delays tied to Kash Patel that Dick Durbin says hampered the FBI, a youth surge for James Fishback in Florida, and House leadership refusing to call on Tony Gonzales to resign. Florida might be “the best state in the country”… but what happens when the families who built it can't afford to stay? On this episode of Futures Edge, Jim Iuorio and Bob Iaccino sit down with James Fishback (Founder & CEO, Azoria Partners | 2026 Florida Gubernatorial Candidate (R)) for a wide-ranging, no-teleprompter conversation about what he calls the real crisis in Florida: affordability — and what he'd do about it.Fishback digs into property taxes, insurance costs, housing supply, and why he thinks Floridians are getting squeezed while institutions and political incentives win. The guys also go deep on free speech, a Florida hate speech law debate, the state's investment choices (including Israeli bonds), and whether Florida should build massive AI data centers — or protect what made the state great in the first place. In this episode:- Why Fishback says Florida is the best state — but “that means nothing if you can't afford to live here”- The case for eliminating property taxes for primary residences- Housing affordability: Blackstone, institutional ownership, and market incentives- Immigration & housing availability — and how it impacts supply- Florida investing in Israeli government bonds — and Fishback's argument for divestment- AI data centers: grid strain, electricity prices, environmental impact, and job realities- The “30-year-old man” metric: marriage + homeownership as an economic scorecard- Bitcoin reserve (HB 1039) and pension oversight from a macro-trader's lens- Education + work pathways: bringing career training into high school

//The Wire//2300Z February 10, 2026////ROUTINE////BLUF: POLITICAL CANDIDATE IN MINNESOTA DROPS OUT OF RACE AFTER FAMILY TRAGEDY. POLITICAL CANDIDATE IN FLORIDA TARGETED IN ARSON ATTACK. TWO ARRESTS MADE FOLLOWING CASH VAN HEIST IN ITALY. SURVEILLANCE FOOTAGE RELEASED REGARDING HIGH PROFILE KIDNAPPING CASE IN ARIZONA.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -International Events-Italy: Two arrests have been made in conjunction with Monday's cash van heist on State Road 613. Details of the arrests have not been made public, as four other thieves are being sought as the investigation continues.Analyst Comment: Otherwise the investigation into the explosive devices planted on Italian rail lines has continued, with an anarchist group claiming credit for the devices, and posting about the targeting efforts on their blog.Russia: Several arrests have been made in conjunction with the recent assassination attempt of a Kremlin intel chief, which resulted in LTG Vladimir Alexeyev being shot multiple times at his apartment last week. So far, two suspects (a father and son team) have been arrested, along with another suspect who was detained in the UAE over the weekend.-HomeFront-Minnesota: Jeff Johnson, a candidate in the race for Governor of the state, has suspended his campaign after a personal family tragedy took place over the weekend. Johnson's daughter (Hallie Tobler) was murdered by her husband on Saturday night at their apartment in St. Cloud. Due to this extremely brutal murder, her father has suspended his campaign.Analyst Comment: Right now it's not clear as to if this brutal murder had anything to do with targeting Johnson's campaign. After all this could be a horrific example of domestic incidents that are far too common throughout the United States. However, this is still a sensitive political issue to be aware of, considering the overall tensions throughout the state.Florida: Over the weekend, a separate gubernatorial candidate was targeted more directly, as the lawn outside James Fishback's home was set on fire by an arsonist. The fire was allegedly set when Fishback was not at his residence, and was discovered as he returned home. So far no suspects have been identified regarding this case.-----END TEARLINE-----Analyst Comments: In Arizona, the FBI has released surveillance footage regarding the abduction of Nancy Guthrie, who was reported missing after being dropped off at her home on the evening of January 31st. The FBI has released video footage and still images of the suspected abductor, and are requesting the public's help in identifying the suspect. This footage was recovered from the Nest security camera at the residence, which was allegedly unavailable during the initial phases of the investigation due to the Guthrie family not buying a subscription plan for this particular device. However, due to Nest (and other similar WiFi camera companies) partnering with Law Enforcement to provide federal access to all cameras, this imagery was recoverable since this footage is being stored in a database somewhere, regardless of whether or not a customer is paying (or even knowledgeable of this storage).Concerning other surveillance footage which might have captured the suspect, the Catalina Foothills community is a spiderweb of surface roads, which appear at first to offer unlimited avenues for insertion/extraction to the target residence. However, following the roads in an outward spoke search pattern, originating at the site of the kidnapping, reveals that nearly all of these roads intersect with a main highway, which at some point intersects a traffic camera, or storefront security cameras. Of course, a malign actor only needs one route to pull off a crime, so "nearly all" is not good enough for investigative purposes. But, this does help narrow down the potential escape routes for the criminal, if it is
Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt visited Capitol Hill Wednesday to advocate for a bill sunsetting Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, a controversial provision that protects companies from facing lawsuits over third-party content from users on their platforms. After taking to social media to push a hefty OnlyFans tax and mandatory school uniforms, gubernatorial candidate James Fishback has now presented a new campaign strategy: the dating app Tinder. James Fishback has gone viral for this new ad. He wants to run for governor Florida—but unlike Governor DeSantis, he is not an Israel-first candidate.
OK, I've had enough with this James Fishback guy running to be Florida Governor now that Ron DeSantis is term-limited out. Tomorrow I'm doing a TAKE DOWN live stream on this character who's suddenly all over my X feed. I must admit, I don't actually have anything NEGATIVE to say about James, as I don't really KNOW anything about him. But he's saying a lot of the right MAGA things, and before I jump on the Fishback bandwagon I want to make sure I'm not stepping on some political landmine. So, this is your chance, people, to dissuade me from the Fishback fandom. Get those skeletons out of the closet, polish up whatever shit it is you think you have to say about him, and join me at 11 AM ET tomorrow, Tuesday, December 16!Fair warning! Bring receipts or be called out for NO RECEIPTS!(Full disclosure, in the absence of any credible Fishback negatives, I'll probably just play a bunch of the videos he's been posting on his X channel--they're pretty compelling stuff, and I'll EXPLAIN WHY.)Episode 1116.
