At the beginning of the month, take some time to identify what you want to achieve by the end of the month. This may include the rank you want to reach and the amount of money you'd like to earn. Write down your goals and keep them visible throughout the month to help you stay focused.Focus on Introducing OthersFor the first two weeks of the month, focus on introducing as many people as possible to your products and opportunity. This may involve hosting events, reaching out to your personal network, or leveraging social media to reach new people. The goal during this time is to build your prospect list and introduce your business to as many people as possible.Help Your Team MembersDuring the second half of the month, shift your focus to helping your new team members build their businesses. Spend time working with them one-on-one to help them get started, and encourage them to reach out to their own networks to expand their reach. By helping your team members succeed, you'll also be helping yourself reach your own goals.Check In With Your OrganizationAs the end of the month approaches, it's important to check in with your organization to see who is close to the next rank, who is slightly short for their monthly order, or who needs help placing their monthly order. This is also a good time to check in with your customers to ensure their monthly orders have processed correctly.Take ActionThe final days of the month are critical for maximizing your results. Use this time to take action and make sure you're doing everything you can to help your team members and customers succeed. This may involve following up with prospects, making calls to your team members, or hosting a last-minute event to help people reach their goals. In conclusion, building a successful network marketing business requires focus, dedication, and a clear strategy. By setting clear goals, focusing on introducing others, helping your team members, and taking action, you can maximize your month and achieve the results you desire. So take action today and start building your network marketing business!
Let's say, right before a sale, a potential customer asks, “You sound great but why should I pick you over these guys?”. Do you have a good answer? Hell, do you have an answer at all? If you don't, you're in luck. I'm going to show you step by step how to come up with a kick-ass response.Today's episode is...How to Figure out Your Value And Competitive EdgeWhat happens in this episode? This episode will highlight, yet another important, step in the “No B.S. Start-Up Checklist”. Specifically, I'm going to explain how to identify the most important reasons customers should do business with you.Why is this episode so important?Because deep down the main reason many of you won't start a business is because you're scared of rejection. You're scared that you can't compete with people that are bigger than you, more successful, more experienced than you, etc. But I'm going to show you that none of that really matters once you understand your true value in the marketplace. Episode HighlightsFiguring out your true value often comes from redefining your “weaknesses'' as strengths. Example: Don't think of yourself as “inexperienced”. Instead, you can say that you “approach every job from a fresh perspective, in order to create solutions that are uniquely customized to your client's needs”. You can also find a competitive edge simply by identifying common complaints customers generally have when doing business with someone else.IMPORTANT NOTEDon't forget to grab your copy of the No B.S. Why resolutions fail, but living an intentional life will succeed. As part of our "Top 6 Episodes of 2022", this is a Rewind of Episode 12 - Achieve Your Intentional Life Goals, Not Futile Resolutions. This episode went viral and had over 200 downloads, mostly in one week in January 2022.Intentional Life vs. ResolutionsIt is the New Year and statistics, and personal experience, show that most of you will give up on your resolutions. That's because you are approaching it as a task and not adopting it as a mindset and core identity.A resolution is "something I'm going to do." An intention is "what I am doing."Identity"The problem with a resolution is that you are not changing your identity, you are just changing an outcome."PerpendExample: A new diet is a new identity -When you start a diet, you say, for example, "I am on the Paleo diet". This implies that you can get off the Paleo diet or you can have a cheat day. You start compartmentalizing and bargaining.Taking an example from the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) diet: you have to adopt it as your identity to maintain it. Most of the people on AIP have a food allergy or get sick from certain foods.Instead of saying "I am on the Paleo diet", adopt it as your identity. "I am Paleo". Those who succeed at this see it trickle down to their friends, who know that they will have to have or make alternatives for this person at their dinner, party, or get-together.Change your identity - "I am this now".Example: Don't say "I am going to start a garden this year". Say: "I am a gardener. I am a homesteader."Do it, not just say it.Take real steps toward it.Plan your life with intention so you are moving toward that goal.HabitsTo deprogram a habit, you stop rewarding it.Make a list:What do I feel rewards me?Include Identity: Someone who is X does this every day. This is living your life with intention.Today is the first day of the rest of your life. You can literally start over (maybe with some pain and consequences, but it is still true). This mindset is real Freedom.Episode website: https://thrivingthefuture.com/intentional-life-goalsComing Jan-12: Join the Thriving the Future Ask Me Anything call with Scott, Perpend, and Grant Payne of HomesteadofPayne on Instagram. After trying to unsuccessfully rebound after a few divorces, Coree finally figured out the importance of becoming a whole person through healing with God. She shares her passion to help those who have gone through the pain of divorce find the healing journey that puts them in a position to thrive. Episode Discussion PointsFunny story of a snake while she was helping a woman in Paraguay on a healing journey What Coree thought life would look like for her when she was in high school Her first marriage ended in divorce after 10 years and why she shouldn't have done a quick rebound marriage, and another marriage. Coree finally realized she needed to do some healing before she moved forward, but she had to hit rock bottom to figure out she needed to heal. She realized the common denominator was her. AFter reading a book about the Law of Attraction she realized she was attracting what she was putting out there: “Two broken people attract each other.” In order to attract a whole and healed person, you need to be a whole and healed person. How once she came back to church and started learning the truth and developing a relationship with God, that God was able to help her heal. She also found it was important to have a good support group of friends. Half way through her healing she got a coach to keep her accountable. God designed us to have relationships with others—because in relationships with others is where we grow. How Coree likes to make quiet time in the morning to connect with God. This usually includes prayer, praise music, talking to God about what she should do that day and how she wants to do what He wants her to do that day. “Help me to stay out of my agenda and do Your agenda today.” How she has learned to give God the troubles she is facing and how she asks God to help her with those. At the end of the day Coree likes to write things she can celebrate from the day or how she has seen God's hand. She also records the answers she gets. Because there is always bad happening, recording and looking for good has given her a “different pair of eyes” to see and attract good in her life. “If you really want change in your life, you're going to have to be intentional about making it happen.” Inner peace takes time to achieve, but now Coree is in such a better place and has awesome friends. Advice to DivorceesYou're not alone in your journey—even though it may be unique to you, God is with you. Allow God in to help you heal. Healing is worth it in the end. Treat your heart like a garden and pull out the hurtful things there: fear, rejection, hatred, anger, shame and guilt so we can let the flowers grow. Be realistic about where you are and start right there at the crossroads Be intentional—don't just wander. Know what you want and where you want to go. Be real with yourself about where you are in your journey. Set goals. (Example: Don't tear down your former spouse because God loves them and it won't make you any bigger.) For the really hard days—Set a goal to do one thing for yourself every morning before you leave home (ex: make sure your clothes match or that you get a shower). Read a declaration for you and your life daily. (Check out the Patricia King's book she used for her declarations https://amzn.to/3VjDPWk (here).) Replace the Adversary's Negative thoughts with Positive Affirmations. Write positive affirmations all over to remind you of your worth, for example: on your phone, on your car visor, on you mirror. Make new happy memories: Once you tackle little things start setting bigger goals to tackle places or things you are avoiding because of memories (like visiting certain restaurants). Hack: To make it easier, take a good friend with you. Remember the car windshield analogy: the front window is so much bigger and broader that always looking through the little rearview mirror. Move forward to bigger and better things with God's help. Build a core group of friends you can be real...

This morning we continue with our Mythbusters series. However Pastor Brad is on vacation so Pastor Seth (freshly back from Youth camp) steps up and delivers our message called "Only God Can Judge Me." Pastor's Notes: Matthew 7:1-3 NKJVMatthew 7 Judge[a] not, that you be not judged.2 For with what [b]judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?APPLICATION1. Judge not, that you be not judgedJesus is not saying don’t judge. He would contradict himself. He saying don’t judge if you can’t handle being judged. Many Christians can dish it out but they can’t take it.Don’t be a hypocrite. Example: Don’t point out homosexuality as a sin if you can’t handle somebody pointing out your heterosexual sin.2. Watch how you judge.(Verse 2) The harshness that you judge is the harshness that you’ll receive when you mess up.Example:Judge the way you would want to be judged.3. Judge by connecting on level ground.Even though you see the splinter in your brothers eye, recognized that there is also something in your eye.Approach from a place of humility and understanding that we are all flawed but we can connect to a God that is not flawed and is able to helpConclusion- Jesus is speaking to the heart. Don’t judge from a place of hypocrisy but a place of humility where we realize that we are all in need of Jesus. Then, we can help EACH OTHER get the planks and splinter out of our eyes.I’m talking about accountability. We are our brother’s keeper. How can we sit by and let our brother walk around with a plank sticking out of his face? Be humble. Recognized that you to need Jesus and need help. THEN, help your brother.

Interested in reaching unbelievable heights in your career and life? Join career expert, motivator, and award-winning author Andrew LaCivita as he discusses the 9 fastest ways to be awesome at your craft! For the most complete post, summary, scripts, and quote cards, see here: http://milewalk.com/mwblog/9-fastest-ways-awesome-at-your-craft For those who want to be truly awesome at what “they do,” I’m going to give you my formula for accelerating your career or your life or whatever you want to catapult. Here are the 9 fastest ways to be awesome at your craft based on what I’ve seen works! Below are the highlights from the podcast. For a more complete explanation of each area, listen here. It’s also available on any major podcast platform. First, I’m going to assume you actually want to practice your craft. It sounds silly, but most people who reach out to me are miserable, stuck, or a host of other undesirable feelings. Let’s assume you chose your path correctly. If you haven’t, check out the First Thing To Do When You Want To Change Careers before proceeding. Let’s roll… Adjust your attitude. Optimism is something you manufacture from your attitude. Inspiration is something someone else manufactures from your optimism. Your ability to think without limits will help you create those incredible achievements. It’s also what will inspire the others around. See Unlock Your True Potential With These Three Keys. Identify the most important capabilities. If you simply practice the “how to” do something, you won’t be able to reach the truly elevated heights. Everyone has purchased the “How To Manual.” You need to know what makes the greatest the greatest. Example: Don’t just learn how to sell. Learn psychology. Learn storytelling. Know the sequence people need to hear things so they can understand how your product or service with help them. Be sincere. Build a Franken-Mentor. I don’t think any one person, as a mentor, will help you reach phenomenal heights. Build yourself a collection of people—live or online—who can help you build your capabilities. I study four people (Burchard, Walker, Hyatt, McLaren). They help me with high performance, product launching, personal platform building, and membership site management respectively. None of these people do anything related to career management or hiring (my areas of expertise). They support the capabilities I need to learn and master. Train like heck. See the four gents I mentioned above? I’ve spent nearly 500 hours over the past two years studying their material. That’s purchasing their training material, watching and studying it, reviewing their blogs, and so forth. If you use the 2,000 work hours per year rule of thumb (for the average 9-to-5-er), that’s an additional 12.5% training I added to ensure I know what I’m doing. Practice. Perfectly. You will make permanent what you practice. Make sure you know what makes something perfect before you make it permanent. There are two ways to go wrong here. First, you can practice poorly. Second, you can practice the wrong things. Choose (or find) the best people to be around. You’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with. Choose wisely. I’m speaking about actual live people who you see and exchange ideas and banter. Spend lots of time with Google and YouTube. There is absolutely no excuse why you can’t learn something you want to know. I had no idea how to set up a podcast. I had no idea how to use a DSLR camera before I needed to use one. I knew nothing about lighting. I knew nothing about email marketing. The point isn’t, “I’m great.” The point is, I knew nothing! Get the right tools. There are so many tools to help you become awesome! They can be organizational tools, research tools, and so on. I recorded this podcast away from office using a cool Sennheiser ClipMic Digital (powered by Apogee) microphone connected directly to my iPhone. It was a new toy I found by accident because I was Googling and YouTubing ways to hook up my Sennheiser Lavalier Microphone. Now I can record these little beauties on the road! It’s also awesome for getting fantastic quality when you’re live on Facebook. Listen: Listen to the world. Listen to your customers. Don’t ever listen to your competition unless you want to create the same products or services they’re creating. Your greatest opportunities will be found in the sounds of other people's complaints. Solve their problems and you're their hero. As always, I’d love to hear from you: What are your greatest tricks or steps to becoming awesome? Like this episode? To ‘figure it out’ means to “solve or discover the cause of a problem.” In British English, I would say ‘work it out” Example: “Don’t worry about lunch tomorrow when your family comes to visit. We’ll figure it out/work it out. We can get a Chinese takeaway.” “Why are we paying so much money for the electricity bill? I can’t figure it out!” (to figure out = resolver, solucionar) Hi Reza and Craig, congratulations for your great job (on your great work)! you've found the perfect combination of learning English and entertainment; I really love your podcasts.I have pronunciation doubts about the words "tomatoes" and "potatoes" because I've heard different ways of pronunciation of both words, which is the correct one?.Finally, I send you (I'm sending you) a proverb in English that I've learned in English class when I was at school, it says: "It takes two to make a quarrel". Thank you again and please, keep on podcasting, (It takes two to tango - this cannot happen without more than one person)- When you want to emphasize that both people involved in a difficult situation must accept the blame. "My friends are getting a divorce and there's a really bad atmosphere between them. It takes two to tango. Peg the Needle on the Relevance Meter If You Want to See Results Ads are often written under the assumption that we can get people to care about things they don't really care about. But this approach rarely succeeds. Traditional ad-think says: 1. Target the right people2. Leverage the right media (visual media for visual products, etc.)3. Use creativity in delivering your message. But nontraditional ad-think gets far better results: 1. What you say matters most of all. Speak to a felt need. Good advertising isn't about the product or the company that sells it. Good ads explain how the customer's life will be different.EXAMPLE:Don't say, “Dr. Bill Dipweasel was voted gentlest dentist in Saginaw County.”Say, “Get your teeth fixed. You'll be more attractive and your confidence will skyrocket. People will treat you differently.”2. How you say it is critical. Clarity is more important than creativity. Talk like people. People don't say, “I've elected to have cosmetic dentistry.” They say, “I've decided to get my teeth fixed.” (Dr. Bill Dipweasel will give you push-back on this because he doesn't think “get your teeth fixed” sounds professional. Also, he wants the ad to be about him.)3. Deliver your message using whatever media offers the best psychological environment. In what moments would a candidate for cosmetic dentistry be most open to the message we crafted about being treated differently?Advertising works best when it speaks to what customers already care about. This is called “speaking to a felt need.” I've never met anyone that's had a secret, unmet desire to go to the dentist. But tens of millions of us secretly wish we were more attractive, more confident, and that people treated us differently. Capiche? Good ads aren't about the company that's paying for the ad. Good ads are about the reader, the listener, the viewer of the ad. This is especially true when writing classified ads for employment. A man attending a class at Wizard Academy confessed that, working part time, he had made more than $850,000 in employee placement fees as the direct result of a single chapter he had read in my second book. I congratulated him on having had the perception to recognize the potential in that chapter. Last week I received an email about that same chapter in my second book from William, an Acadgrad living in St. Petersburg, Russia. Dear Roy,I received an email from my business partner (Thatcher) earlier today, telling me that we had found the perfect applicant for an opening we have in our company. I crafted the job ad based on one of your chapters in the second Wizard of Ads book. This is what I replied to him: “She's perfect. The Wizard of Ads is a genius, and this girl is just what we want, don't you think? I mention the Wizard because I used an article of his on writing job ads for that one. He said the person we were looking for would recognise themselves in the ad, and we wouldn't be swamped with tedious junky mass-applications. And indeed that's what happened.”So thank you, Roy, for all your amazing free advice; I have yet to meet this girl, but judging by the application, I think she should fit in well.Eternally gratefully yours,WilliamThat chapter, by the way, is called “Writing Classified Ads for Employment.” It's chapter 76 in a 101-chapter book called http://www.amazon.com/Secret-Formulas-Wizard-Ads-Turning/dp/1885167393/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1256642830&sr=1-1 (Secret Formulas of the Wizard of Ads), a New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller. http://mondaymemo.wpengine.com/?ShowMe=Classified (Here's an example) of the strange type of classified ad that always gets superior results. William, I'm glad you found the perfect employee. I look forward to your next visit to Austin. Yours, Roy...
