Življenje je posvetil umetnosti slikanja, v kateri je z grafičnimi postopki in z inovativnimi likovnimi intervencijami razvil izviren slog. Pomembno je sooblikoval sodobno avstrijsko slikarstvo. Pustil je globok pečat na številnih sakralnih objektih, pa tudi na posvetnih stavbah. Omanov osrednji motiv je že od nekdaj človek. Njegove fragmentirane podobe človeških figur so nedoločljive, nejasne in večplastne, tako pa namerno puščajo prostor gledalčevi domišljiji. Njegova praksa je usmerjena v postopek sam, pri katerem upošteva lastnosti materialov in se z njimi poigrava. Zanj so značilni plastenje, večkratno obdelovanje, odtiskovanje in uporaba medijskih podob ali umetnostnozgodovinskih referenc. Ob umetniškem ustvarjanju je tudi politično angažiran, poznan je kot borec za pravice koroških Slovencev in človek dejanj. V svojem najnovejšem delu dvojezične krajevne napise, simbol boja koroških Slovencev za svoje pravice, uliva v bronaste stebre, ki so in še bodo postavljeni v javni prostor na avstrijskem Koroškem. Za to delo sam pravi, da je nekaj najboljšega, kar je naredil kot umetnik do zdaj. Z Valentinom Omanom se je pred dnevi, ob odprtju nove razstave Križev pot: Ukrajina / Bližnji vzhod v Koroški galeriji likovnih umetnosti v Slovenj Gradcu, pogovarjala Urška Savič. Pesnik in prevajalec Mile Klopčič se je rodil leta 1905 v Franciji. Ko je bil star približno štiri leta, se je z družino preselil v Zagorje ob Savi in tam preživel večji del otroštva. Težko življenje rudarjev in njihovih družin ga je temeljno zaznamovalo in vplivalo na njegov izostreni socialni čut, ki ga je ubesedil tudi v poeziji. Objavil je dve pesniški zbirki: Plamteči okovi in Preproste pesmi. Predvsem pa je bil plodovit prevajalec temeljnih književnih del iz ruščine, na primer Lermontova, Puškina, Bloka, in iz nemščine, na primer Heinricha Heineja. NIO's largest investor just created the world's hottest autonomous vehicle market, and Chinese robotaxi companies are flooding in. This week, Abu Dhabi issued the first fully driverless commercial licenses to Chinese companies including WeRide, Carrot Express, Didi, and Cao Cao Mobility - while XPeng continues building its autonomous capabilities globally. Tyler coached the women's basketball team at Trinity Western University from 2005-2007, while simultaneously running a skills-development program that produced five Division I (USA) athletes. In 2007, he accepted a position as Assistant Coach at Portland State University. During his first year at Portland State, the Vikings won the Big Sky Conference with an overall record of 23-8. After Portland State captured the Big Sky Conference tournament, they went on to the NCAA Tournament where they lost to the eventual 2008 champions, the Kansas Jayhawks.As a player Tyler led Lynden Christian High School to the Washington State Championship and earned first-team All-State honors. He went on to play university basketball at Trinity Western University, where he was named to the Canada West All-Rookie team.
