What Things Are Hard for the Lord? What are the things God cannot do?The Bible doesn't describe anything as inherently “hard” for God in the sense of being beyond His ability.  The rhetorical nature of the question in Genesis and Jeremiah implies that nothing is too difficult for God, as He is omnipotent (all-powerful). However, certain theological concepts or actions are described as challenging or contrary to God's nature, though not impossible. Listen in as we take a deep dive on God's limitations.

The Spirit of God is not for sale. It is not a commodity that can be bought or sold. The power of God can only be received. It is to be used only for kingdom purposes. God, who knows our hearts, will never give us His anointing and power if He knows we have improper motives.Main Points:1. It's not wrong to want to be used by God. In fact, it's a wonderful desire. It's a holy desire. But an important question is: “Why do you want to be used by God? Why do you want His power in your life?” 2. If our ambition is to build our own kingdom, set up our own platform, and receive our own recognition, we will never be given the power of God.3. I believe today God freely gives His Holy Spirit to those with pure hearts and those who sincerely desire for God to use their lives for His glory.Today's Scripture Verses:Acts 8:20-24 - “But Peter replied, “May your money be destroyed with you for thinking God's gift can be bought! When I look at Sampson, I think to myself, I would never use him. He is out of control. He is reckless. He even, at one point, names what he is doing as mischief. But what do we find? God uses him. God uses him as an instrument. God uses him to help the Israelites. Even though Sampson is not someone I would use, God does. God doesn't always make sense, and we need to remember that. God isn't going to always do what we want Him to do. God cannot be controlled. Vs. 9. The place: 2 Chronicles 3:1. This would be the place would the future temple where God would dwell.This would foreshadow God's work. This is a picture of greater sacrifice. This is also not that far from Mt. Golgotha. Absolute obedience is important to God. The picture: The cross of Calvary. Vs. 2. This is the first use of the word "love" on the Bible- the love of a father and a son. Matthew 3:17- This is the first use of the word "love" in the new testament- also a love between a Father and a Son. Mark 1:11; Luke 3:22; John 3:16; 1 John 4:8-21Notice: Issac is a type of God the Son. -> He willingly obedient- even if it meant death. Powerful biblical lessons on the consequences of trying to manipulate God

Factory Reset - "God Cannot"  (Habakkuk) Doubt is one of Satan's favorite tools. From the Garden of Eden to this day, if the accuser can get you to doubt God's goodness, His care, His ability, His interest - in you- the battle for your mind is already finished. In Genesis 3, his entire strategy is to get Eve to doubt. In Exodus 3, you can hear doubt riddled Moses. And it is likely that you also are tempted at times to think - God cannot, God will not, God is not, God does not... There are some things God cannot do - He cannot lie; He cannot fail; He cannot forsake His own; He cannot make mistakes; He cannot be stopped! If God is for you, who can be against you? Doubt can be just a thought, but it can become the rupture to our confidence in God.

God cannot lie. He has been true to his word from before all time. He is faithful today. His promises beyond time and into eternity will all be kept.

Temptation to evil does not come from God, instead every good and perfect gift does come from the Father of lights. God uses His word of truth to give life. This was a persistent problem on the island of Crete where Paul's son in the faith, Titus, finds himself. Titus is there to set things back into order, to remind the Cretans of the transformation that comes from salvation. This truth leads us to affirm that because God cannot lie, we can trust God's truth for transformation.
