POPULARITY
It appears that the volume of important news increases exponentially daily. Today's show is no different. A shocking story starts the show that involves a massive action taken by the DEA and other federal law enforcement members, in which 617+ arrests occurred in the Northeast as those agencies went after members of the Sinaloa Cartel from Mexico. The attacks, besides those arrests, included tons of illegal drugs of every kind. It also included millions of dollars! One House Democrat committed that if the government does not defund ICE and continues its pursuit of illegal aliens, she will refuse to vote to approve the upcoming budget proposal in the House. With a slim margin by the GOP over Democratic membership in the House, she said her vote could shut down the government!Steve Baker joins us in hour two and reveals the details of a critical investigation of the FBI in St. Tammany Parish in south Louisiana for massive corruption based on dollars and cents, certain FBI agents are receiving and not for the right reasons.Steve Baker joins us on the show at 10:00 am (Central)!
Argentina's Javier Milei has defied critics by bringing sweeping economic reform to an economy many had written off. Former MP Steve Baker — the “hard man of Brexit” — says a similarly radical free-market reform can save Britain, too. In this special edition of The Capitalist, Steve joins Marc Sidwell to launch his new project, Fighting for a Free Future. From soaring house prices to the looming pensions crisis, Steve pulls no punches: the managerial state is broken, the emperor has no clothes, and unless Britain slashes spending, abandons failed orthodoxies, and embraces liberty, we face managed decline — or worse.Britain is running out of time. Debt is spiralling, taxes are at breaking point, and politicians refuse to face the truth. This is a conversation about courage, crisis, and the bold choices we must make before it's too late.Discover more about Steve's new project: https://www.fightingforafreefuture.com/Stay informed with CapX's unmissable daily briefings from the heart of Westminster. As Chicago burns, 50+ shot, at least seven dead, the World continues to turn! What's it going to take for the governor of Illinois to stop the madness in Chicago? Once again, Illinois Governor Pritzker denies that there's a violent crime crisis in Chicago.Steve Baker joins us in the second hour. We launch into an analysis of the lawlessness that is not only a problem on the streets of Chicago, but it's spreading across Illinois while the governor is planning on somehow "saving Chicago" as a talking point for his certain run for the White House in 2028. Elsewhere, lawlessness continues to grow in number across the nation. Now, criminal acts of an unspeakable nature are ripping our country apart. Steve and I discuss vivid details that reveal Democrats across the board are emboldened by the massive crime waves across the U.S. and are confident they can somehow weaponize that against conservatives. However, there is good news, too! Treasury Secretary Bessent is confident that our tariff process will proceed, predicting that SCOTUS will reject the activist judge's opinion that stated Trump's implementation of the tariffs is unconstitutional. Trump's team will certainly file an emergency motion to be heard quickly at the top court.
It's Friday, and that means it's time for the IASP Advocacy Podcast — your go-to for education policy, leadership insight, and what's next in Indiana and beyond. This week's special guest is none other than The Retired Guy himself — Steve Baker. With his trademark humor and wisdom, Steve dives into how school leaders can successfully implement new changes—whether those changes come from the Indiana General Assembly, district-level policy shifts, or even federal mandates. With Soil, Ships, and Successful Leaders, Steve shares a fresh perspective on navigating the sometimes turbulent waters of leadership. Expect a few good laughs along the way, but also plenty of practical advice you can take back to your schools right now.
Steve came aboard on Tuesday to help us break down the latest Democrat Party ploy to make up some ground against the GOP. Democrats have lost two million registered voters from the Democratic Party. Obviously, Democrats chose to march in step to all be spewing the same vitriol in their talking points. And, as usual, President Trump is at the epicenter of all of their angst.Steve and I analyze the methods being used by Democrats in a futile attempt to convince the nation there's no excessive criminality in Washington, D.C., Chicago, Baltimore, NYC, Los Angeles, or Seattle! That's simply an attack of lies to denigrate the outstanding leadership in these blue states and sanctuary cities! You'll not only enjoy our conversation, but you'll get some answers to questions you've had about what we've all been seeing and hearing!
The conspiracy predictions are deafening! Today, you will hear predictions from MSNBC's Rachel Maddow that you don't want to miss. She gives proof that Trump is definitely an authoritarian who plans to abandon the Constitution and the Rule of Law!More and more blue state governors and city mayors have been emboldened to publicly decry Trump's work with the National Guard in D.C. and threaten Trump if he even tries to come to their states and cities to assist with criminal law enforcement.Even with these politicians' cries, Americans in these large cities are crying for help from Washington. In our conversation with Steve Baker, you will hear my prediction of what is really going to happen as Trump continues to tout D.C. action to take measures to stop criminals and stop crime.Steve Baker always brings his knowledge and wisdom to this show every Tuesday. Today is no different!
On today's show, we wrap the first hour around two hot, essential topics: The federalization of Washington, D.C., including sending National Guard soldiers to D.C. to "assist" the Metropolitan officers in efforts to make D.C. safe. In just more than a week, 400+ illegals have been arrested for alleged criminal acts. A large number of those were illegal aliens. We cover in-depth the players and details of the White House summit yesterday with European nation leaders, with President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky to begin formal measures to stop the war between Russia and Ukraine. The meeting went well. All are in agreement to push forward with a trilateral meeting as soon as possible with Trump, Zelensky, and Putin to set the pillars of an agreement to end the war.Steve Baker joined us for hour number two. He brought us observations about several of the most important issues Americans are dealing with today. We discussed his. Thoughts on the messaging of President Trump today compared to his messaging during his first term as president.

First: the new era of censorshipA year ago, John Power notes, the UK was consumed by race riots precipitated by online rumours about the perpetrator of the Southport atrocity. This summer, there have been protests, but ‘something is different'. With the introduction of the Online Safety Act, ‘the government is exerting far greater control over what can and can't be viewed online'. While the act ‘promises to protect minors from harmful material', he argues that it is ‘the most sweeping attempt by any liberal democracy to bring the online world under the control of the state'.Implemented and defended by the current Labour government, it is actually the result of legislation passed by the Conservatives in 2023 – which Labour did not support at the time, arguing it didn't go far enough. So how much of a danger is the Act to free speech in Britain?John joined the podcast to discuss further alongside former Conservative minister Steve Baker, MP from 2010-24, and who was one of the biggest critics of the bill within the Conservative Party at the time.Next: should we be worried about protests against migrants? This week, outside a hotel in Epping, groups amassed to protest against the migrants housed there, with counter-protestors appearing in turn. Tommy Robinson might not have appeared in the end, but the Spectator's Max Jeffrey did, concluding that the protests were ultimately ‘anticlimactic'.Nevertheless, the protests have sparked debate about the motivations of those speaking out against the migrants – are there legitimate concerns voiced by locals, or are the protests being manipulated by figures on the political fringes? And what do the protests tell us about community tensions in the UK? Max joined the podcast to discuss alongside the editor of Spiked Tom Slater. And finally: why are ‘romantasy' novels so popular?Lara Brown writes in the magazine this week about the phenomenon of the genre ‘romantasy', which mixes romance with fantasy. While ‘chick-lit' is nothing new, Lara argues that this is ‘literature taken to its lowest form', emblematic of the terminally online young people who consume it. Nevertheless, it is incredibly popular and is credited by publishers as boosting the British fiction industry to over £1 billion. To unpack the genre's popularity, Lara joined the podcast, alongside Sarah Maxwell, the founder of London's first romance-only bookshop Saucy Books, based in Notting Hill.Hosted by William Moore and Lara Prendergast.Produced by Patrick Gibbons and Megan McElroy.

Our Tuesday full of debacles actually started Monday afternoon when that deranged former football player walked into the NFL building on Park Avenue, New York, shot and killed four innocents, and then turned the gun on himself.Today, we discussed numerous other happenings. It seems either the media or real events are speeding up the number of horror stories we are given, or are dramatising the stories to gain ratings. In either case, "shock and horror" have become daily events. And there are many!Steve Baker joins us in hour #2 live from Dallas. We discussed in detail the horrors of gun killings. How sad it is that the Media use those killings as "clickbait to increase their numbers. The first to jump on this shooting was New York's Kathy Hochul, who dramatically claims we must outlaw these "assault weapons of war." (Same song...second verse)
Glenn shares how he and his wife are becoming empty-nesters and what it means to be a father when your kids are fully grown and independent. Glenn speaks from the heart about the father dynamic he has with his kids compared to the dynamic his wife has with their kids. Stu reveals that a popular statistic regarding marriages and divorce rates is outdated. Are people staying married longer compared to previous generations? Glenn and Stu discuss fatherhood and what parents should expect from their children. Glenn analyzes how Democrats turned into radical leftists, and it comes down to the lack of critical thinking. Glenn lays out how conservatives can overcome stupidity. Glenn reads an X post from a former liberal who was positively impacted by Glenn, his charity Mercury One, and Blaze Media investigative reporter Steve Baker. We planned on having a calm and informative show today. We began the show with discussions of the day's crucial issues. (There are plenty of those debacles to fill a two-hour show!) Our show covers each of the most significant issues of the week and day in Washington. However, as you know, many things we "hear" about aren't always available to us to share ALL of the details. Several such issues are pending, and we in the media are aware of their status. Things got complicated!Steve Baker reached out to me yesterday with a heads-up on three huge revelations that had been pending for some time, all of which came to fruition yesterday.Steve and his employer, Blaze Media, wrote and published the details of all three of these stories.Steve, in today's show, shares the details of each in detail. And I stopped the show in the middle of a critical story to put Steve on the phone to share the details of those three huge stories that Blaze had published.Get ALL of that and much more in today's show!
On this episode of “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered,” President Donald Trump accused former President Barack Obama of TREASON! During an interview in the Oval Office, Trump also compared Obama to Hillary Clinton and argued that Obama's crime was much worse. Next, the House Oversight Committee has subpoenaed Ghislaine Maxwell to appear before Congress. Then, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that the COVID vaccine has been removed from the vaccine schedule for children. Finally, Hunter Biden claimed that his infamous laptop does not actually exist. Today's show is a busy one! We start the day with the latest from the Barack Obama "Russia Gate" program that Obama and his henchmen created to perpetuate the lie that Russia helped Trump win the 2016 election. Tulsi Gabbard released thousands of pages of intelligence documents proving that evidence had been presented to all in the Obama Administration that proved there was NO collusion between Trump, his campaign, and any other groups to assist Trump to beat Hillary.Steve Baker joins us in our second hour. He and I discuss numerous examples of how corrupt our Congressional legislative process has become and who the players are today.Steve shared facts about the angst among many in the Trump Administration against Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) for voting against bills that do things that were promised would never happen on President Trump's watch.Steve explains how consternation in communications among politicians and everyday Americans has deteriorated to the point of forcing everybody NOT to trust anybody!Today's show is a powerful representation of the erosion of truth in communication at the highest levels of our government and what it will take to restore it.

Many moving parts keep us focused on multiple locations. As you know, that keeps us working hard to get information. Today, our Investigative Journalist joins us in our second hour. He and I break down the details of the "no-release" announcement from the White House that told us there are NO videos, NO pictures, nothing at all regarding the "alleged" illegal actions perpetrated by Jeffrey Epstein. Therefore, there will be NO release of any of the materials promised by the Attorney General and FBI Director. The analysis of this massive event is as monstrous as any other such event in U.S. history. Steve, who is deeply immersed in research on this topic, professionally guided us down the path of reality. We discussed the few "possibilities" for the change of heart from the Administration about making ALL of the Epstein files available to every American. Why is this NOT happening? WHO decided to take the materials off the table while giving the American people NO explanation? Will we ever know anything about Epstein's actions at all? Also, why was the promise to reveal all the evidence to the American people withdrawn?Get it all in today's show!

As Labour rebels appear to have forced concessions from Keir Starmer over welfare this week, former Conservative MP Steve Baker joins James Heale to reflect on his own time as a rebel, and to provide some advice to Labour MPs. Steve, an MP for 14 years and a minister under Theresa May, Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak, tells James about the different rebellions he was a part of (from Brexit to Covid), explains how to organise a successful one and reveals how he has lost close friends when he has made the decision to compromise. He also blames Labour's problems on their ‘bombs not benefits' approach, explains why the current welfare rebellion demonstrates that ‘the facts of life are Conservative' and argues that it has been a mistake for the Conservatives not the support Labour's original approach to reducing the winter fuel allowance.Produced by Patrick Gibbons and Megan McElroy.

Just when we thought we had some resolution in the battle between Iran, Israel, and us, both Israel and Iran broke the rules of the ceasefire. Today, we let you hear from several experts who have complete details. However, there is far more in this show -- very important things -- than most felt was involved.Steve Baker joins us a little later than usual -- my fault, not his! He analyzes his thoughts on Iran, Iraq, and our involvement in the region.Indeed, other powerful nations are watching closely, looking for weak links in the chains of operating those large nations. Several are certainly willing to take advantage of all the players. The Left is hell-bent, still screaming at Trump about conducting this massive attack against Iran to destroy their nuclear operations. Dems are screaming for the "I" word to use against Trump: "Impeachment." "He is not a dictator. He has no authority to attack Iran unilaterally!" We, however, dispel that notion by discussing the details and numbers of attacks launched by previous presidents against other nations without first consulting Congress. The great offender of that: President Barack Obama!
Our show is packed with detailed information on multiple fronts that you won't want to miss!First, some good news: Rasmussen has reported that Donald Trump now has the support of the majority of Black and Hispanic Americans! You'll hear details that shouldn't shock us, that shine light on the evils that are intrinsic to USAID. $550 million was stolen by leaders in USAID who have each (quietly) pleaded guilty to.House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries gets blown away by Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), who counters the claims that the pending cuts in spending will decimate millions of Americans. In the final hour of the show, Steve Baker inundates our listeners with new information about the top issues of the day: news and information about the conflict between Israel and Iran should be resolved shortly. Steve believes that whatever happens to bring this conflict to a head and is resolved will most definitely be driven by decisions of Israel and Iran, and that the U.S. will NOT be part of -- other than supporting Israel's actions.
This week's episode of the IASP Advocacy Podcast is short—but powerful.
Today's show provides the latest updates on the developments in the mini "Civil War" unfolding in Los Angeles. Here are details of those stories and others in the show:California Governor Gavin Newsom is blaming ALL of the insurrection details against President Trump. You'll hear from Newsom and President Trump today.Where's the Legacy Media in this major story? It will probably not surprise you to learn that Legacy Media is giving us the facts of these attacks. Their description of the riots: "They're not riots. They're peaceful demonstrations!"Steve Baker joins us in hour #2. We spend the hour digging into the reasoning and processes behind what is happening in Los Angeles, why it exists, and how it continues to grow and spread across the nation. In a shocking move, at the end of the show, Steve gives a personal request to House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) regarding a request from President Trump to House leadership for the impanelling of a committee specifically to examine and "confirm" the actual actions of that special committee with unfettered power to do anything and everything necessary to complete the factual evidence of all those involved that day in every part of what happened. (You'll hear that request yourself)

In March 2024, he was arrested by the FBI and charged with four misdemeanor counts related to his actions at the Capitol, including trespassing and disorderly conduct. Baker pleaded guilty to these charges in November 2024 but expressed confidence in receiving a pardon from former President Donald Trump, who issued pardons to many January 6 defendants in January 2025. His arrest sparked debate, with supporters claiming it was an attack on press freedom, while critics pointed to his sympathetic statements toward the rioters as evidence of bias.
