Steve Baker: (Grok generated) Steve Baker is an investigative journalist known for his work with Blaze Media, a conservative news outlet. Born on April 27, 1968, in Louisiana, he grew up in Shreveport and later settled in Raleigh, North Carolina. Baker has a background in music, performing as a trumpeter and vocalist for Bull City Syndicate, and has two children, Stormie and Duncan. He gained attention for his coverage of the January 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot, during which he was present as a freelance journalist, later selling footage to outlets like The New York Times and HBO. In March 2024, he was arrested by the FBI and charged with four misdemeanor counts related to his actions at the Capitol, including trespassing and disorderly conduct. First, they made sexual abuse allegations, and now they are claiming that he has a major drinking problem. The New York Times tried to use his mother's email to defame him, but she came out in his defense. She even claimed that the media threatened her. Sara argues that the media's playbook is to smear anyone whom Donald Trump nominates. Nanci Pelosi even confirmed this tactic back in 2018. Pete Hegseth debunked their claims this morning and stated he will NOT be backing down and that in a conversation with Donald Trump, he was told to “fight.” Sara was joined by the panel, and they spoke of the Supreme Court hearing arguments today about parental rights and transgender surgery for minors. The case also includes the first transgender lawyer to present a case before the Supreme Court. This case will set a precedent for all states, what will the Supreme Court decide? The panel shifted their attention to FEMA's ongoing exodus in North Carolina. Steve Baker discusses the current state of FEMA during the hurricane relief efforts and states that FFEMA was already packing up. Apparently, FEMA was even planning on throwing away the remaining food rather than delivering it to hurricane victims. Is the government using the natural disaster for a land grab? The decision by the DOJ ends the unconstitutional federal cases against President Trump, and it would seem that all the dominos are falling into place. Sara and the panel shift the discussion to defiant Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, who compared his constituents' willingness to defend their sanctuary city and stand against the federal government to their Tiananmen Square moment. Prominent Republicans voiced their outrage, and Mayor Johnson was forced to walk back his incendiary remarks. The panel focuses attention on the absence of government relief and aid in hurricane-ravished North Carolina, where the North Carolina National Guard posted photos and video showing its around-the-clock assistance to all who needed aid, only for it to be exposed as older and outdated footage. Turns out the National Guard vacated the area some time before and was trying to appear as though Guardsmen were still on the ground helping the hurricane victims. The episode concludes with the re-emergence of Kamala Harris, who has been silent since her concession speech. Kamala Harris is back on the radar as her aides announced she is considering her political future with perhaps a 2026 California gubernatorial run or a 2028 presidential run in mind.
