It's time to laugh as a country of Juicy Scoopers, so do that this weekend with me at the Irvine Improv! I got Real Housewives lawsuits and Vanderpump Rules updates! Then I talk to Janelle Brown from Sister Wives! Janelle shares her surprising background prior to marrying Kody. We get into how the show got started. Did the wives ever consider the show may end if they were to leave Kody? Was there jealousy surrounding 4th wife Robyn? What could the show look like in the future? I also share what I think Kody is trying to convey as we all cringe watching him. Enjoy! The first time we met Hannah - at least together - Naomi was figuring out her Netflix half hour, and Hannah graciously gave her some time on a show at the Irvine Improv down in The OC. I went along to try and find the real Seth Cohen and also have some mozzarella sticks at the Irvine Improv (they did not have any). The point is, Hannah was just a delightful person and a hilarious stand-up to boot, and you will find that out for yourself on today's episode! We talk about how a recent break-up thrust Hannah into a new paradigm, we explain what a paradigm is, and Hannah goes into depth about her high school years as a cheerleader! Also, if you're not watching Hacks, you HAVE to, and Naomi even plays herself on the third episode of the new season! PLUS, obvi, we answer YOUR advice questions! If you'd like to ask your own advice questions, call 323-524-7839 and leave a VM or just DM us on IG or Twitter!Fill out the survey so that we don't play awful ads! Support the show on Patreon (two extra exclusive episodes a month!) or get yourself a t-shirt or a discounted Quarantine Crew shirt! And why not leave a 5-star review on Apple Podcasts? Or Spotify? It takes less than a minute! Follow the show on Instagram! Check out CT clips on YouTube!Plus some other stuff! Watch Naomi's Netflix half hour or Mythic Quest! This week Bree and Liz went to the first ever Give Them Lala live podcast. They break down all the details of the show and all their thoughts about the event. It was an experience for sure. Listen to hear why Liz struggled with the environment a little, but overall had fun. Then Bree and Liz talk about their upcoming girls night and reminisce on their past fun times in Downtown. Bree says how rough her week has been, and Liz talks about why she has to work from home this weekend.Liz gives an update on the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial this week, as she is still obsessed with watching. From the body guards, chuffers, and financial advisors. This case just gets more and more juicy as each testimony goes on. Also the MET Gala is coming up again, and the girls could not be more excited. They predict Kim and Pete will show up together and they are OBSESSED. Finally Bree and Liz give the run down on all the reality shows of the week. From Jersey, to Summer House, and can't forget about The Kardashians. Performed in Irvine this past weekend with one of my favorite comics and people, Chad Daniels. He's one of the greats. People in the double bubble were walking away amazed, but some felt it was too political which means it made them think and they don't even know if they agree or disagree, all they remember is that it made them think. I would say they'll be safe as long as they don't leave the Orange Curtain, but they may not even be safe here. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
2021 Summer Vacation Series Destination: Los Angeles, California Read the article at: comedywham.com This week, Daniel Eachus sits down with Valerie Lopez to talk about being an award-winning jazz musician and how it translated to his comedy pacing, how reading the biographies of notable comics helped him see the behind the scenes work needed to become successful, and how putting his foot in a million doors translates accomplishing his goals as a comic, author, and actor. Want to know more about comedy in Los Angeles, California? Daniel's recommendations for comics to check out from LA include: JC Currais, James Frey, and Samuel J Comroe. If you're in LA and you're reading this, you already know that LA is one of the biggest comedy scenes in the country - there's something for every taste. In fact, Daniel suggests getting a bit out of the hub of LA and head south to Orange County which has a lot of great shows to offer with a lot of young up and coming comics. La Cave in Costa Mesa, The Rec Room in Huntington Beach, and the Irvine Improv are destinations to check out. As he tells it, Orange County is where you go for stage time and LA is where you go to network and meet people. Today's edition focuses on Bob Saget, popularized for his role as Danny Tanner on Full House and Fuller House. He stops by to discuss new dates for his upcoming Irvine Improv show. From FNX, you'll hear from Frank Blanquet, along with filmmaker Daniel Golding, about the documentary “Chasing Voices: The Story of John Peabody Harrington,” examining the life of an ethnographer, who's noted some 150 Native American languages. Lastly, you'll hear from singer and trombonist, Aubrey Logan.

On this week's show... Jason talks about what it was like to work at an insane asylum before David brings up a touchy subject--Jason's recent $80,000 brand deal that went awry. This lead to a larger conversation about why the deal didn't go down and how crazy it is to get paid for doing something that people do for fun, and for free, on an everyday basis. Also, David was recently attacked by bees, the guys talk about cheating on tests in high school, and David details the conversation he had with his parents about moving to LA when high school was over. All of that, plus David and Jason touch on the LIVE episode of VIEWS they'll be doing this Sunday at the Irvine Improv! Welcome to VIEWS.
On this week's show... During a MeUndies ad read, Jason realizes that David has stolen all the free underwear that was sent their way. This leads to a larger discussion about Jason's underwear habits, and how he he has no time to do laundry. Then, Jason talks about being bipolar, introduces the world to his team of bodyguards, tells the story of David's terrifying firework prank, and gives David's mom a call, before being accused of having a thing for Liza. Also, the guys mentioned it during the show, but don't forget--Views LIVE is coming up on August 13th at the Irvine Improv! Hope to see you there. Welcome to VIEWS.
This is the second live podcast we did on this evening at The Irvine Improv. The inimitable Yoshi joins us for some hilarious and often jaw-dropping conversations. *Please use HEADPHONES to listen to this episode. And of course, STANIMA.
Like myself, Alan "Al" Watt started as a stand-up comic, headlining clubs throughout North America, and performing on many TV shows. He's won awards for writing including France's Prix Printemps 2004 (best foreign novel) for Diamond Dogs, and now Al has his debut feature film, "Interior Night" lighting up the film festival circuit. We chat writing (he also teaches screenwriting), first time directing, his rehearsal process and more. Oh big congrats to Desiree Johnson, she's going to see "Cinema Twain" and meet the legendary Val Kilmer at the Irvine Improv, March 29th, 2017. Yay!! Thanks, Jordan All "I Am Battle Comic" ticket info for my 6 city curated screening tour is at jordanbrady.com. Always. Support our military and enjoy some laughs.
I saw Val Kilmer's mind-blowing one man show "Citizen Twain" live in Los Angeles, and it blew my mind. Hence the phrase. We know Mr. Kilmer immerses himself in his characters (e.g. Jim Morrison, Doc Holliday), and this show had you forget Val and believe you were watching Mark Twain do a one man show. At the end of the run, Val has filmed the stage play and is now touring art houses with the movie. "Cinema Twain" is a must see and special evening with Val Kilmer live. Helen and I are going, and we have two VIP tickets for Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 at the Irvine Improv. Tweet at me, Facebook me, and two lucky fans will go too! Thanks, Jordan This episode is under 4 minutes. Please share. More links to "Cinema Twain" on my site and valkilmer.com. Enjoy.

Ian Bagg has been a working comedian for some time now, but got a little bump in exposure after getting into the top 5 of last year's Last Comic Standing. So...who is this Ian Bagg fellow? What's his deal? Why does he talk kinda funny, eh? Well...turns out he's Canadian and grew up in an isolated area of British Columbia, worked in a gold mine (a literal gold mine) and was on the verge of studying Blasting Engineering when he instead decided to take the much more dangerous route of telling jokes on stage in front of people. Ian's story starts out sounding a little like maybe David Lynch wrote it, but being of hearty Canuck stock and apparently with no fear, Ian's path includes a wild swing across North America from honing his skills in Vancouver, surviving in a youth hostel in New York, and finally figuring out where it's warm ALL the time after moving to Los Angeles. We cover a lotta ground in this hour-plus, including a little hockey talk, why Ian's style of comedy can throw some audiences off, what the hell Weetabix is (see below) and there's a generous dose of conversation about monkeys. You'll see. Ian Bagg is performing at the Irvine Improv this weekend (6/16-19) where he will be recording his as-yet-untitled special. Get more tour info on Ian's website ianbagg.com, follow Ian on Twitter @IanBagg and like his Facebook page here.
