Last year's On3 Quarterback Fantasy Draft was so easy. Whoever won the game of Rock, Paper, Scissors would to take USC's Caleb Williams, and we'd be off to the races. And that's exactly what happened. Jesse Simonton's paper beat Andy's rock, and Jesse grabbed the defending Heisman Trophy winner. This year? We struggled to make our first choices. (0:00-1:20) Intro (1:21-4:08) Jesse Simonton joins, recap last year's choices (4:09-5:38) Alabama QB Jalen Milroe (5:39-7:26) Liberty QB Kaidon Salter (7:27-8:48) Rhoback Ad (8:49-11:00) Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel (11:01-14:13) Miami QB Cam Ward (14:14-16:07) Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart (16:08-17:29) USF QB Byrum Brown (17:30-21:03) Kansas State QB Avery Johnson (21:04-23:34) Georgia QB Carson Beck (23:35-25:14) Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders (25:15-29:49) Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleava (29:50-32:34) Arizona QB Noah Fifita (32:35-36:23) Ohio State QB Will Howard (36:24-38:27) LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier (38:28-39:59) Texas State QB Jordan McCloud (40:00-42:09) Texas QB Quinn Ewers (42:10-43:59) West Virginia QB Garrett Greene (44:00-46:11) Missouri QB Brady Cook (46:12-48:05) Kansas QB Jalon Daniels (48:06-51:09) Memphis QB Seth Henigan (51:10-51:59) Oklahoma QB Jackson Arnold (52:00-1:00:35) QB's Not Taken (1:00:36-1:02:03) Conclusion But if last year's QB draft taught us anything, it's that the picks in the back half of the draft will determine the winner. Andy wiped the floor with Jesse last year mostly because of two players: No. 5 pick Jayden Daniels and No. 9 pick Dillon Gabriel. They were the two most productive players using this scoring system. Passing touchdown: Six points Every 25 yards passing: One point Rushing touchdown: Six points Every 10 yards rushing: One point Interception thrown: Minus-2 points Fumble lost: Minus-2 points Pick-six thrown: Minus-6 points The scoring system rewards the dual threat QBs who can score on the ground, and we definitely took that into account making our selections this year. Unlike last year, nothing was obvious. And we won't find out until the games begin whether we used the correct drafting strategy or we overthought the whole thing Want to watch the show instead? Andy and On3 national writer Jesse Simonton use the EA Sports offense and defense unit rankings released Thursday as a jumping-off point to discuss the how the real-life versions of these units will fare. (0:00-2:26) Intro - EA Sports Offensive and Defensive Rakings (2:27-3:24) Jesse Simonton joins to break down the rankings (3:25-6:51) Colorado ranked too high? (6:52-8:23) USC Rankings (8:24-11:07) Ohio State (11:08-15:11) Georgia's Ranking (15:12-16:39) Liberty on the game (16:40-18:23) Miami (18:24-22:47) Alabama (22:48-28:34) Omission of Tennessee (28:35-32:24) Clemson (32:25-35:15) Ole Miss (35:16-38:09) Florida at #25 on defense (38:10-42:19) LSU (42:20-45:51) Sneaky Defense: Texas A&M (45:52-50:09) Penn State (50:10-53:20) SMU Ponies (53:21-55:10) UCF Knights (55:11-57:45) Big 12 Outlook (57:46-1:01:48) Wrapping up with Jesse (1:01:49-1:04:10) Who is YOUR Dynasty Team? (1:04:11-1:05:09) Conclusion, see you Monday! Do Georgia and Oregon really have the best offenses? EA Sports didn't have Tennessee in its top 25 on offense or defense, but where should the Volunteers actually fall? (Andy and Jesse will remind game-makers that James Pearce Jr. is a person who exists.) Is Colorado really going to be as good on each side of the ball as the video game rankings suggest? Also, will LSU and USC improve enough on defense in real life to be among the top 25 units? Because if they are, then those programs might be looking at College Football Playoff berths. Andy is BACK from vacation and … very little happened while he was gone. (0:00-3:02) Intro - We Are BACK! CWS Final TONIGHT (3:03-9:49) Les Miles Sues LSU (9:50-14:29) USC Recruiting Class (14:30-25:26) Jesse Simonton Joins to Discuss Heisman in the 12-Team CFP (25:27-49:39) Jesse reveals his Heisman Candidates (49:40-55:36) Defensive Players for Heisman? (55:37-59:00) Wrapping Up With Jesse (59:01-1:03:13) Social Media Trends with CFB Acconts (1:03:14-1:04:14) Conclusion, Wrapping Up Les Miles sued LSU over vacated wins, and a bunch of schools advertised their cheap in-game beer — or cheese, or SPAM — on Twitter. Tennessee and Texas A&M played two fun games over the weekend to set up a winner-take-all showdown on Monday at the men's College World Series. Since it is prime arguing season, On3's Jesse Simonton joins Andy to talk Heisman Trophy. Jesse spent last week breaking down potential candidates in the power conferences, and the race seems wide open. Plus, the new College Football Playoff format could affect how we view certain candidates. Who will enter the season with the best odds? Of course, Jesse Simonton and Andy will have opinions about which teams might make the field. But what we know for sure is that some power-conference fanbase is going to be righteously furious when its team gets bumped for the highest ranked Group of 5 champ — or possibly a lower ranked power conference champ. Jesse also unveils his All-Transfer Portal team. He's also been examining win totals in every conference, and he and Andy discuss which ones feel too high and which ones feel too low. Later, Senior Bowl executive director Jim Nagy joins to discuss some of the best transfer players that he's studied. The Senior Bowl staff had to evaluate new Miami QB Cam Ward, new Ohio State QB Will Howard and new Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel in case they decided to leave for the NFL after last season. On3's Jesse Simonton joins the show from Destin, Fla., where he talked to Georgia coach Kirby Smart, Florida coach Billy Napier, Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin and more as the coaches convened for their meetings. In Nashville, Andy talked to Jacksonville, Fla., receiver Jamie Ffrench, who turned heads at the Elite Series and who is about to embark on official visits before deciding in August from a group of schools that includes Texas, Ohio State, Tennessee, Miami and LSU. And also chatted with Haley and Hanna Cavinder about their return to college basketball at Miami after a year away from the sport. The Cavinders were trailblazers in the NIL world, so what advice do they have for the future football stars convened in Nashville? Next, Andy talks Missouri Tigers with quarterback Matt Zollers.
