Welcome back to another episode of Racin' With The Boys. On this week’s episode, we’re joined by William Byron, the driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports. William is typically a quieter guy but Delanie and Taylor really get him to open up. William and the boys were able to meet up before the Nashville race this past weekend and Taylor asks him what are the nerves like heading into a race. The guys then get into trying to understand the different types of penalties that happen in NASCAR and how some drivers may not know every single little rule that there is. William is also known to be a big LEGO guy so Taylor asks him what he's currently building but William says he hasn't been able to get into too much as golf has taken over. The boys then really dive into William's come up to NASCAR. He didn't have the typical rise through the ranks like most of the other drivers. William started out as a SIM racer and earned his stripes through that. He gets into his journey on how he went from SIM racing to actual racing and the major learning curve that was. Byron eventually got signed by Hendricks Motorsports, one of the dynasties in NASCAR, to drive the iconic #24 car. He gets into what the pressure is like driving not only for such a legendary team, but also an iconic number. We end the podcast with a quick one word to describe some drivers that you aren't going to want to miss. pWotD Episode 3306: Kyle Busch Welcome to popular Wiki of the Day, spotlighting Wikipedia's most visited pages, giving you a peek into what the world is curious about today. With 772,735 views on Thursday, 21 May 2026 our article of the day is Kyle Busch.Kyle Thomas Busch (May 2, 1985 – May 21, 2026) was an American professional stock car driver and racing team owner, who raced from 2001 to 2026, most notably driving the No. 18 (for the NASCAR Cup Series), No. 51 (primarily for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series), and No. 54 (for the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series and occasionally the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series) Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing and Kyle Busch Motorsports between 2008 and 2023; Busch last competed full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Richard Childress Racing and part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado RST for Spire Motorsports. Busch was the younger brother of 2004 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series champion Kurt Busch. Born and raised into a racing family in Las Vegas, Nevada, Busch began helping work on race cars as a child before moving into competitive driving in go-karts and short-track racing during his adolescence. By his early teens, he was already winning local championships; Busch’s rapid rise through stock car racing caught the attention of major teams. He made his national NASCAR debut in 2001 in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, competing for Roush Racing. In 2003, he joined Hendrick Motorsports as a development driver and later advancing to NASCAR's major touring series. Busch remained with Hendrick Motorsports through the 2007 season before joining Joe Gibbs Racing in 2008, where he competed through 2022 and achieved the most successful stretch of his career. In 2023, he moved to Richard Childress Racing, continuing his career with the organization until his death in 2026. Busch is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished and influential drivers of his generation, as well as one of the defining competitors in NASCAR history, known for his dominance across all three of the sport's national touring series. At the time of his death, he ranked ninth on the all-time NASCAR Cup Series wins list and first in overall wins between the top three NASCAR divisions. Amongst his various accolades, Busch was the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series champion and a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, winning titles in 2015 and 2019, and was named as one of the NASCAR's 75 Greatest Drivers class in 2023. He was also the recipient of several awards, including two NASCAR Rookie of the Year awards and two ESPY Awards for best driver. Outside of stock car racing, Busch briefly held the WWE 24/7 Championship. Known for his aggressive driving style and demeanor, Busch earned several nicknames over the course of his career. In addition to his driving career, Busch owned and operated Kyle Busch Motorsports, a race team that competed in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series from 2011 to 2013 and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series from 2010 to 2023.This recording reflects the Wikipedia text as of 04:19 UTC on Friday, 22 May 2026.For the full current version of the article, see Kyle Busch on Wikipedia. This podcast uses content from Wikipedia under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License.Visit our archives at wikioftheday.com and subscribe to stay updated on new episodes.Follow us on Bluesky at @wikioftheday.com.Also check out Curmudgeon's Corner, a current events podcast.Until next time, I'm neural Joey.

Denny Hamlin gets his second win of the season…only this one doesn't actually count since it was the All-Star Race. Denny won the pole after spinning out before his qualifying lap even counted. Like most of the weekend, qualifying was a tad confusing. On Sunday, there was immediate carnage only adding to the confusion. The drivers who paid the biggest price were those locked in to the All-Star race like Chase Elliott, who technically didn't race in the All-Star race. Plus, Denny has a new location suggestion for the All-Star race next year Thanks to Goodyear there was plenty of tire wear. Plus, low downforce and added horsepower had lots of drivers having control issues. On the track, Denny and the 11 team had the best car. The one area where Denny continued to struggle was restarts. He explains what's going on and why he is determined to figure it out. On Saturday, Corey Day made a statement and the rumors about his future are flying around. The guys get into whether or not he is ready for Cup racing. For more content head over to our YouTube page https://www.youtube.com/@ActionsDetrimental Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. We also dive into:
After a busy weekend of racing, Phil and Josh return for E309 of the GSP to cover IndyCar, NASCAR, F1, and more! Alex Palou continues his greatness with another win at Barber in the NTT IndyCar Series, while Graham Rahal got his first podium in three years. The guys go over the race and other key players as the drivers and teams get a welcome rest before Long Beach. Dennis Hamlin dominated another race at Martinsville, but William Clyde Elliott ended up getting Hendrick Motorsports and Chevy their first win of the 2026 Cup Series season at the paperclip. Other stories included Darrell Wallace, Jr., and Carson Hocevar's incident and other drivers' struggles as they take the week off for Easter. The O'Reilly Series race was carnage-filled, but Justin Allgaier's momentum continues with another win. Lee Pulliam made an emotional debut and had a chance to win the race for JRM. Andrea Kimi Antonelli became the youngest driver ever to lead the Formula 1 World Championship after winning a second consecutive race at the Japanese Grand Prix. McLaren finally showed up with Oscar Piastri, while Ferrari saw their usual ups and downs with Lewis Hamilton losing a podium but Charles Leclerc picking up the pieces. With a month off between this race and Miami, the guys look at who goes in with and without momentum. The GSP Roundup reviews Indy NXT, MotoGP/Moto2, Supercross, World Superbikes, and Super Formula before Phil and Josh come back to make picks for Trucks and O'Reilly (possibly Cleetus McFarland) at The Rock. Josh lets us know all things going on in iRacing in the Sim Segment before Show Close. Like, comment, and subscribe!

Denny Hamlin and Jared Allen sit down to unpack a frustrating day at Martinsville Speedway, where Denny came up just short, and walk through exactly how it slipped away. From a loose wheel in the final run to a tough restart that put him behind the eight ball, plus a pivotal moment battling Ryan Blaney that may have changed everything, nothing is off the table. Meanwhile, Chase Elliott ends up in victory lane for Hendrick Motorsports and Chevy, and the guys dig into whether his aggressive third-and-fifteen strategy call is getting the credit it deserves. They also get into the bigger conversations from the weekend, including the Bubba Wallace and Carson Hocevar incident, ongoing frustration with caution lengths and TV breaks, and Justin Allgaier's O'Reilly Auto Parts win. Things heat up in a Hall of Fame debate as Denny makes the case that lower series success shouldn't automatically punch a ticket to NASCAR's highest honor, while Jared pushes back with a more balanced take. And in true Martinsville fashion, the weekend also somehow included 46,000 hot dogs being eaten by fans. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The SCS crew breaks down Elliott's late surge to steal the win at Martinsville Speedway from a dominant Denny Hamlin.
Freak yeah! The crew ponders what the “Chasesexuals” see in their driver and why there's so much hate thrown towards crew chief Alan Gustafson. Why is INDYCAR seeing such exponential growth over from 2024 to now? How did Cole's first F1 watch go? Palou drops by after his second win of the season, Connor Zilisch catches up with the Freaks and part two of an electric interview with Maddi Gordon await on this edition of SpeedFreaks!

Producer Travis Rockhold makes a claim about Hall of Fame Nominees you'll just have to hear to believe. On Door Bumper Clear this week, we asked Freddie, Tommy, Karsyn, and guest Matt Weaver the question: Is Hendrick Motorsports worried about being this far into the season without a win? Buckle up, it's time to go for a ride on the Dirty Thirty Express! In just 30 mins, you'll see, hear, and feel the very best Dirty Mo Media has to offer from this week. This one is locked, loaded, and ready to rip. Dale Jr. starts us off with a conversation around the NOAPS driver making a lot of waves recently: Corey Day. He describes the conversation he had with the young racer, how the team dynamics work between JRM and Hendrick Motorsports, and what he sees happening moving forward with Day. Next up, Denny Hamlin talks about the wreck he didn't realize he caused, which resulted in Connor Zilisch going for (another) spin in COTA's turn one. He goes on to praise the driver of the No. 88 and says SVG might not have it so easy on the road courses this year, thanks to his new teammate. In another supercharged segment, Karsyn Elledge describes her point of view from the volatile CARS Tour victory lane. The short track racing world took notice of the moment and learned a valuable lesson: you DON'T mess with the Elledge sisters. Over on Bless Your 'Hardt this week, Dale tells Amy the full story behind Isla saying her first cuss word — and how a small part of him felt so proud. This is a story you're going to want to catch. Lastly, the internet's favorite mullet-having, sleeveless shirt-wearing, helicopter-flying personality stopped by the Arby's studio to talk about his new RCR deal. In this segment, he discusses the noise from the haters, his fans, and what he hopes to accomplish racing in the O'Reilly Auto Parts series. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. In this DJD Classic, which originally aired 9/23/19, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his former boss, Rick Hendrick, sit down for an in-depth discussion about Rick's origins in motorsports, how he built up NASCAR's winningest team, and his plans for sustaining excellence in the future. Hear Rick recount the famous rental car ride between Dale Earnhardt and Geoff Bodine that was orchestrated by Mr. Bill France himself. Plus, what did Kenny Schrader do with Dale Jr. that made Dale Sr. mad enough to not speak with Schrader for a full year? The stories are plenty, and the laughs are hearty - nobody in NASCAR can replicate the subdued humor of Mr. H.And for more content, check out our YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/@DirtyMoMediaReal fans wear Dirty Mo. When Dale Earnhardt Jr. had his longtime friend and crew member Kevin “Two Beers” Pennell on the Download last time, their conversation was so engrossing that he had to come back for more. They pick up where they left off, in Dale Jr.'s rookie season in the famed Bud 8 car. They recall some choice encounters with Dale Sr., including a wreck at Bristol and their Cup debut at Martinsville, where Dale Jr. couldn't get out of the way quickly enough. Dale and Kevin relive their thrilling victory in the 2000 All-Star race, where some key decision-making by Tony Eury Jr. helped put them in contention. The 2001 Daytona 500 is also discussed, with both men sharing their respective experiences of the post-race events after Dale Sr.'s tragic accident. Dale and Kevin talk about some “ingenuity” and “innovation” that was taking place in the shop and on pit road to help close the gap on the more established Cup teams. They rehash the highs and lows of the 2001 season and their hot streak at Daytona and Talladega, which led up to the winning of the 2004 Daytona 500. Dale asks Kevin for his perspective on the team switch at Dale Earnhardt Inc., which stemmed from a falling out with Eury Jr. They also chat about Dale and Eury Jr. leaving for Hendrick Motorsports, and Kevin's decision to stay loyal to DEI. The interview goes on to cover the whirlwind years of DEI, which saw it get absorbed by Ginn Racing, the acquisition by Tony Stewart, and the inception of Stewart Haas Racing and its eventual closure at the end of the 2024 season.
