Host John Lund previews Louisville's Week 12 home game against Clemson on Friday night, first by talking to William McDermott and then hearing from head coach Jeff Brohm on what he thinks about the Tigers. William is a publisher for On3's Cardinal Sports and also does play-by-play for the Louisville Sports Network. He's also an Indiana University Media School grad, so we joke about if he'd rather be covering Indiana for the run they've been on, what went wrong for the Cardinals on Saturday against Cal, what needs to change to beat Clemson, and what Pat Kelsey has meant to the Louisville basketball program and picking up his first win in the rivalry with Kentucky. For Clemson, the Tigers will have the best defensive line that Louisville has seen since Miami, and a quarterback that hasn't forgotten how to play football despite a dud of a Heisman campaign. The pressure will be back on the defense, and on Miller Moss to respond from losing to Cal. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Rich Scarcella from the Reading Eagle joins the show! We start with a full recap of the loss: Key plays, defensive breakdowns, turnovers, and how the Buckeyes dominated from start to finish despite the score looking close at half. What went wrong, and is there any silver linings in this lopsided rivalry clash? Why couldn't the offense attack vertically? Host John Lund previews Louisville's Week 10 matchup against Virginia Tech at Lane Stadium and what the Cards can do to beat the Hokies in yet another Battle of the Birds. We'll also hear more of Jeff Brohm's thoughts from beating Boston College and what to expect at VT, as well as how the rest of ACC football fared in Week 9 and what the boys in Vegas think about the conference. It's the same ol' song and dance for how the Cardinals win this game that we've been talking about for weeks now. A smart game from Miller Moss, establishing the running game, slaying the dragon that is a dual-threat quarterback, winning the turnover battle and not committing stupid penalties. Louisville is playing meaningful football in November, something that a lot of teams expected to be coming into the season and are no longer. And, some Louisville teams that maybe had more talent or promise or trust, also did not. Because even with all the hemming and hawing that comes on social media after games, the Cards are still 6-1, and still in position to reach all of their goals. Host John Lund recaps Louisville's 38-24 win over Boston College in what was ugly, exciting, boring and thrilling Week 9 win, along with sound from Jeff Brohm's postgame press conference. History thankfully didn't repeat itself with the Cardinals suffering an upset the game immediately after winning by with an upset of their own, though the game certainly was uneasy at times. The running game carried the load, the defense did its job once again and UofL improved to 6-1 and still in the mix to play for an ACC championship. We'll highlight the best and worst moments, react to Coach Brohm's commentary and review individual performances in winning the Battle of the Birds. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Host John Lund reacts to sound from head coach Jeff Brohm on Louisville's historic upset at No. 2 Miami, check in on how the rest of the ACC fared in Week 8 and see what the boys in Vegas think about the conference. Coach Brohm reflects on the win, how the offensive line played, great games from Miller Moss, Chris Bell and Trevonte Sylvester and the O-Line, what went into calling the fake field goal and added wrinkles to the playcalling, and more. Duke and Washington State did the Cardinals no favors in losing to Georgia Tech and Virginia, but the Cards are still in the hunt to make the ACC championship game (and College Football Playoff) after the dust settled from the weekend. Host John Lund recaps Louisville's devastating 30-27 overtime loss to visiting No. 24 Virginia in Week 6 on Saturday. Highlights of the highs and lows, big plays and game changing moments, and sound from head coach Jeff Brohm's post game press conference help make sense of it all. The Cardinals outgained Virginia's top five offense in the country by 180 yards in the air and almost 150 overall, and lost the game. Virginia had 10 possessions in regulation and scored on just two of them, and still won the game. Louisville senior Chris Bell had 12 catches for 170 yards and scored one more touchdown than Virginia did, and still lost the game. Four plays highlight this game's Unwells for UofL: the scoop and score and Pick-Six, the missed field goal to end the first half, and a 3rd and 20 that didn't actually have to happen and resulted in UVA's lone offensive touchdown. Louisville now falls to 4-1 overall and 1-1 in the ACC, basically needing to win-out or have a lot of help along the way to make it to the ACC championship game, with Miami the first opponent on deck after another bye week. Game notes include a look at how the Dukes fared last week, a breakdown of the offense and defense, some key players to watch, and we'll hear back from Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm at his press conference earlier in the week about the matchup against the Dukes before an early bye week. The TL;DR, don't commit 106 yards worth of penalties, win the turnover battle by not throwing three interceptions and control the line of scrimmage on both sides. Easy peasy right? And, more importantly, who covers?

This episode of The C.L. Brown Show features CBS Sports reporter Chip Patterson, who is also the host of Cover 3 college football podcast. How will transfer quarterback Miller Moss look in head coach Jeff Brohm's offense? Can the defense fill some holes and make the necessary improvements after disappointing at times last year? And, some recognition for the latest inductees into the Louisville Athletics Hall of Fame, including football legend Stefan LeFors.
Year 3 of the Jeff Brohm era begins next week and the Cards are coming off back-to-back 9+ win seasons. Could this be Louisville's best offense under Brohm? And what will the defense look like?
