Sometimes the undesirable and embarrassing parts of who we are make the best stories. Writing does that... it uses creativity to lift us out of self-judgment about our personal weaknesses and into comedy, healing or just an awareness of our common humanity. , I've brought one of those stories I'm particularly startled by, to sound effects, music, and uncut candor on this episode.Unearth creativity's resilience, joy, and mindfulness in your life by joining my new group, called Talking About Creativity ... If you're a podcast listener you get a special rate, so contact me.. Or join a group one that's been around for a long time that's accepting new members at the old price that will be increasing in January: The Underground Highway to Creative Results which includes Talking About CreativityIf creativity is a value of yours, you know it can make every part of your existence better. Conversely, when you don't get to it, you feel a kind of spiritual constipation and free-floating crankiness . There's no doubt getting into a creative flow can be elusive, frustrating, or seemingly impossible. I've been there with the distractions, perfectionism, doubt, overwhelm, and resistance but I've also discovered ways to make it more of a priority in my life . It grounds me in my gifts and my relationship with myself makes living a whole lot more enjoyable. And I've taught these "ways" to people for the last 20 years. It helps to have a place to show up so the effort is made easier and the inspiration is designed. Talking About Creativity and The Underground Highway to Creative Results are two such places. More with Jill Badonsky here Support the show Upcoming art and creativity programs www.themuseisin.com

One of the most intuitive practices you can engage with is Creativity. So I am resharing the conversation I had with the creator of the Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching teachings (which is what I am certified in) Jill Badonsky. She is the master at finding easy, simple ways of getting out of our own way to begin to engage with our creativity. Our ability to create is massively powerful and it comes from that same easy place where we KNOW how to play with our imaginations as children and this knowing is connected to our intuition. When we tap back into this connection that we already know how to do, we can create magic. More from Jill Badonsky: Visit Kaizenmuse.com Buy the Books! Join an upcoming program or become a coach! Find Jill on Facebook Some tools discussed in this podcast (too many to list them all!): -Asking small questions: your brain cannot refuse a question and will work on this positively in the subconscious. Can lead to shifts in beliefs and habits and magical epiphanies -Normalizing: by understanding that we are all human and having a human experience we begin to feel more connected, accepted and maybe less triggered in the experience we are having -Meditation: any type of meditation for as long or as short as you'd like to try is beneficial in that it can give our brains a break from the usual thought patterns that rule our minds. Guided meditations are a great way to get started. Today we are celebrating over 100 episodes! Technically this is the 189th episode that we're creating for Be Bold Begin but because we've done so many bonuses this one will be numbered as number 100. So with that said, I've been reflecting on not only my journey with this podcast but my growth journey as a whole since I began the show back in March of 2018. For this special episode I put together a short compilation that spans the journey (and I'm sure you can hear the difference in my voice from the early episodes compared to the ones that come later) but I wanted to choose ones that emphasized our main pillars that I believe are at the core of transformation: Small Steps, Intuition, Self-Kindness, Gratitude and Creativity. I hope you enjoy this fun 100th episode of Be Bold Begin. **In Loving Memory Of Mystique whose little spirit crossed over on this day** Feature Episodes: De-Bunking FEAR! What if you could enhance your focus, resiliency, resourcefulness AND do it by having fun? That is the power of your creativity. We are all creative, despite having a creative or artistic calling. One of our wonderful human qualities that we are born with is creativity. What we often overlook when it comes to this playful part of us is it's usefulness. We talk with a very special return guest, Jill Badonsky, creator of the Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching Trainings (which is what I am certified in) about the many benefits that doing creative things can bring into our lives. What Jill calls "fringe benefits" are the skills and experiences that happen as a bonus to what we get from a creative process in addition to the art or project. Jill also created a business, wrote many books, is a speaker and curates events and retreats so we also talk about the entrepreneurial side of how to do all of this in a way that is authentic and aligned with our core and spirit to turn work into play. The nice thing about little stories is you can listen to them again and get something new the second time. I think that might be the case with this story. Our lives wax and wane but one thing remains the same, creativity is a reflection of our brightness ... and sometimes our darkness. This episode sheds some light on the creative process."Sometimes when we just let .. ideas go out the window, we can practice trusting that the next idea may make us better off than we are. But I think what is truer, is that we are fine just the WAY we are. … in our darkness, our light, our emptiness, our fullness, and each time we start over anew in whatever we do ."Written, engineered, and narrated by Jill Badonsky. Hi,I'm revisiting November 2020 when the pandemic was still in high gear. It's interesting to see how I was feeling then - and how helpful the creative imagination was in getting through it. I happened to grab 17 moonbeams on my way back from Episode 13... A Swim on the Moon . I wasn't sure what to do with them, just like sometimes we're not sure what to do with a creative idea. Despite a nightmare about dishes running away with spoons, I did end up writing by the light of one of them a few secrets about the creative process. Sometimes ideas don't go anywhere... that's okay. It's a natural part of the process. A Muse's Daydream is available on most podcast platforms including Apple, Stitcher, and Spotify.
