Look, I'm not here to sugarcoat this for you.AI is replacing service providers left and right in 2026, and if you're offering one of these five services, you could be next. But before you panic and think this is some doom-and-gloom situation, let me be clear: I'm not here to fear-monger. I'm here to give you a wake-up call so you can pivot NOW instead of getting to the end of 2026 frustrated with your lack of clients, lack of growth, and wondering if you should have even started this business in the first place. After working with over 3,000 service providers, I've seen this shift happening in real time. I've watched podcast managers get replaced. I've seen copywriters who used to charge $20,000 now struggling to land $2,000 clients. I've watched VAs lose their entire roster because clients figured out ChatGPT can do 80% of what they were paying them for.The industry is changing, y'all. And we need to change with it.Here's what we're covering today: the five services getting hit the hardest by AI, real examples of how this is playing out right now, and most importantly, the exact pivot you need to make to stay relevant and charge premium prices. This might sting a little, but I promise I'm giving you a path forward—not just telling you the sky is falling.Topics Covered In This Episode:The shift from execution to strategic thinkingThe specific pivots needed for the 5 at-risk service categoriesReal behind-the-scenes insights from million-dollar businessesHow to add strategy layers for premium pricingWhy this is actually the best opportunity for service providers willing to evolveFind the full post at: https://brandimowles.com/270Want More Like This? ⬇️

Have you hit that point in the year where you're dragging yourself toward the finish line, promising yourself that you'll rest once this one last thing is done? I know that feeling well. In property management, it can become so normal that we stop questioning it. Busy turns into an identity. Stress feels familiar. And exhaustion quietly becomes the baseline. In this episode I'm having a very real, honest conversation about the mindset shifts that have completely changed the way I work, lead and live. I recorded this episode as I was counting down to a 6 week break, and it felt like the right time to pause and reflect on what's actually been driving my stress, overworking and constant pressure. This isn't about a new strategy, planner or system. It's about the unconscious beliefs that were running the show for me without me even realising it. I share the 5 mindset shifts I made this year that helped me move out of survival mode and into a calmer, more sustainable way of running my business and showing up as a leader. “ The best way I have found to get conscious and have the space to be conscious is by giving myself rest and having a space, and rest isn't the reward. It's a responsibility. If I'm a leader, I set the tone. If I'm exhausted, so is my team. And if I'm running on empty, my clients can certainly feel that as well. So I now prioritise rest, I schedule it into my calendar like I would a meeting.” - Kylie Walker We cover:How I realised I wasn't just busy, I was actually addicted to stress and why that's so common in property managementShifting from reactive property management to building systems and processes that create calmer, more organised businessesHow scarcity thinking shows up as “there's never enough time, money or support” and what changed when I challenged thatHow I released limiting beliefs that were impacting my confidence, leadership and business decisionsWhy rest isn't something I earn once everything is done, but something I'm responsible for as a business owner and leaderHow mindset work supports clearer boundaries, better leadership and sustainable business growthWhat's changed for me since I stopped overworking and started prioritising energy, clarity and long term impactKylie's Resources:Property Management Growth School: https://courses.thatpropertymum.com.au/TPM-BDMSchool Digital Marketing School: https://courses.thatpropertymum.com.au/digitalschool That Property Mum Courses: https://www.thatpropertymum.com.au/courses/ The PM Accelerate Membership: https://courses.thatpropertymum.com.au/accelerate Book a Strategy Call with Kylie:...

For many agency owners, the dream of owning a real estate business begins with the promise of freedom, time with family, lifestyle flexibility, and the chance to build something of lasting value. But between the vision and reality lies a journey of leadership challenges, financial learning curves, and daily decisions that determine whether that business becomes a burden or an asset. In this episode I chat with Rob Honeycombe, a seasoned real estate professional turned rent roll broker to unpack what it really takes to not just start a real estate agency, but grow one that's profitable, sustainable, and ultimately saleable.Rob brings more than 30 years of hands-on experience, offering rare insight into the biggest opportunities and blind spots agency owners face from predictable cash flow and lending leverage to team leadership and knowing when it's time to sell.Whether you're just starting out, scaling your agency, or planning your exit, this episode will leave you with clear, actionable wisdom on how to build your business with the end in mind.“If you're building your rent roll, really it's about focusing on getting the best possible fee income. And as much as you can, choose landlords' clients that are prepared to spend money on maintenance, that understand you're the expert, and when you give them advice whether it's about a lease renewal, the choice of tenant, or a maintenance item, they should listen to it.” - Rob Honeycombe We explore:Why real estate businesses are easier to start and run than many other small businessesHow a rent roll gives you steady income and can help you borrow money or sell your business laterWhy being a good leader matters more than just being a good property manager or salespersonWhat makes a rent roll attractive to buyers and how to build yours the right wayCommon mistakes that can hurt your business value and how to avoid themRob's honest take on what he'd do differently if he started an agency todayWhy real estate business owners need better training and support not just sales skillsHow to balance your personal lifestyle goals with running a successful agencyWhy learning how to negotiate well is one of the most important skills in real estateKylie's Resources:Property Management Growth School: https://courses.thatpropertymum.com.au/TPM-BDMSchool Digital Marketing School: https://courses.thatpropertymum.com.au/digitalschool That Property Mum Courses: https://www.thatpropertymum.com.au/courses/ The PM Accelerate Membership: https://courses.thatpropertymum.com.au/accelerate Book a Strategy Call with Kylie: https://calendly.com/kylie-tpm/coaching-call Kolmeo: https://kolmeo.com/ Sensor Global: https://sensorinsure.com/ https://sensorglobal.com/ HD&U Sales Bundle:
