The Chicago Bears aren't slowing down. With injuries piling up in the secondary and a culture shift taking hold under head coach Ben Johnson, Chicago is pushing forward — and now they're set to host Asante Samuel Jr. for a visit next week. The former Chargers star, now fully cleared after spinal fusion surgery, could be the exact shutdown corner the Bears desperately need with Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon still sidelined.Plus, Bears GM Ryan Poles opened up about his aggressive pursuit of EDGE help at the trade deadline — turning “every stone” before ultimately landing Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, a low-risk, high-upside addition behind Montez Sweat and Austin Booker. And as adversity continues to hit the roster, Caleb Williams explains why this Bears team is winning differently. From offense to defense to special teams, Chicago is finally playing complementary football — and building a real winning culture.Tap in with Haize as he breaks down what Samuel's visit means, how Poles is reshaping the roster, and why the locker room has fully bought into Johnson's standard.

On this post-trade deadline edition of the Orange and Brown Talk podcast, Mary Kay Cabot Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe break down a quiet NFL trade deadline for the Browns. While the Browns made only a minor move involving Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, their upcoming opponent, the New York Jets, held a massive fire sale, trading away two of their defensive stars. The crew analyzes why the Browns chose to stand pat, pointing to their strong draft position with two first-round picks and the lack of available players who could truly alter their season. They explore the team's brief inquiry into Jets receiver Garrett Wilson and the decision not to trade veterans like David Njoku or Myles Garrett. With no outside help arriving, the focus shifts to the rest of the season. They discuss the immense pressure on the struggling offense to find answers from within, highlighting the need for players like Cedric Tillman and Jerry Jeudy to step up. They frame the upcoming game against the dismantled Jets as a "need to win" and delve into the frustrations surrounding an offense that feels stuck in the same place as last year, making the final nine games a critical evaluation period for the future.
