The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are seeing a shift in their backfield dynamics as former starter Rachaad White has officially been moved to RB2 behind breakout star Bucky Irving. After leading the Bucs' rushing attack for most of the past three seasons, White now finds himself in a supporting role after Irving exploded for 1,122 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2024. Adding to the intrigue, White posted a cryptic “One last ride?” message on Instagram, sparking speculation about his future as he enters a contract year. While White still offers value as a third-down receiving back and top-tier pass protector, the Bucs now boast a three-headed monster with Irving, White, and emerging talent Sean Tucker — who flashed brilliance in limited action.Elsewhere, the Buccaneers are drawing national attention with a top-10 overall roster ranking from Pro Football Focus. The offense remains the team's biggest strength, retaining key contributors and adding explosive rookies like Emeka Egbuka and Tez Johnson. However, questions remain on defense, particularly in pass coverage, where the Bucs ranked in the bottom third of the league last season. The front office has responded by drafting multiple defenders and acquiring edge rusher Haason Reddick. Meanwhile, rumors are swirling around wide receiver Trey Palmer, with the Steelers reportedly expressing interest. With roster battles heating up, Tampa Bay is gearing up for what could be a pivotal 2025 campaign. This Father's Day, Felon HQ is hooking you up with a criminally good deal—20% off sitewide when you use promo code MINUTECAST at checkout! Disaster struck Chris Godwin in Tampa on Monday night, as he was lost for the season on a meaningless play at the end of a blowout. We'll talk about that and also Marvin Harrison's lack of usage from the two prime-time games, plus we'll focus on the remainder of the Week 7 game film to go beyond the box score and make your fantasy football team better. Then we'll begin our Week 8 process by discussing the adds and drops you can consider, with a special emphasis on wideouts considering the injuries to Godwin, Mike Evans, Brandon Aiyuk and more. OTA 9 RecapThe offense looked very crisp during OTA 9. Starting with 7-on-7 drills, Daniel Jones went 5 of 6 with four touchdowns. The first TD was to Jalin Hyatt, followed by Malik Nabers, another to Hyatt, and the fourth to Wan'Dale Robinson. During the team portion, Drew Lock impressed by going 9 for 10 with two touchdowns to Malik Nabers and another to Isaiah Hodgins during red zone drills. Tommy DeVito connected with Allen Robinson for a TD, while Lawrence Cager and John Jiles caught touchdowns from Nathan Rourke. On defense, Dane Belton, Jason Pinnock, and Jalen Mills all batted down passes, with Jordon Riley deflecting one at the line. Boogie Basham could have had two sacks, once sharing with DJ Davidson. Azeez Ojulari forced a quick throw by getting into the backfield, and Kayvon Thibodeaux disrupted the QB's timing multiple times.Art Stapleton praised Malik Nabers, saying, “I have not seen a receiver have a practice like he did today since Odell. Wish I could give you more than words and the video is the team opts to put out. Jumped off the page, so to speak. If this were training camp, my word.” Stapleton is a respected columnist and podcaster who has covered the Giants for many years. There has been a lot of hype surrounding Nabers, but should we believe the OTA hype? After all, Darren Waller was called a unicorn and Tre Hawkins was deemed the steal of the draft last year, and we know how their seasons turned out.Sterling Shepard signed a 1-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, reuniting with his college QB from Oklahoma, Baker Mayfield. The Bucs have star WRs Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, along with young talents like second-year receiver Trey Palmer and rookie Jalen McMillan. It will be tough for Shepard to make the team, but fans still root for him. If he makes the squad, the Giants play the Bucs at MetLife in Week 11 on November 24th.Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni stirred controversy by telling Giants fans, “You know, we got your best player,” referring to Saquon Barkley. The Eagles signed Barkley on the first day of free agency tampering to a 3-year, $37.75M contract with $26M guaranteed. The Eagles are currently under investigation for improper contact during the tampering period. The Giants didn't even make an offer to Barkley, whose departure leaves Dexter Lawrence and Andrew Thomas as arguably the Giants' best players. Some argue that Xavier McKinney, who is younger and played every down last season, was a more significant loss than Barkley. Barkley ended his Giants tenure 4th in rushing yards and 7th in total yards, playing in 74 games while the team went 34-64-1 since he was drafted second overall in 2018.Giants to Wear New 100th Season Century Red Uniforms Week 1 Against the Minnesota VikingsJalin Hyatt expressed confidence in the Giants making the playoffs, saying, "Just looking at our team, looking at what we got -- for goals, I just want a team goal. We have a playoff team. That's what we want to do. That's our focus and we're gonna get there." While there are low expectations around the league, it's good to see players aiming high. Although the Giants making the playoffs seems unlikely, stranger things have happened, as evidenced by their unexpected playoff appearance in 2022.#nygiants #giants #nfSupport the Show. All Episodes are shot LIVE with fan interactions on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, & TwitchSponsor the show at: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/2giantgoofballsInterested in starting a podcast. Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL Draft haul was exactly what the Bucs needed when it came to addressing one of Tampa Bay's biggest deficiencies last season - speed on both sides of the ball. The additions of guys like Calijah Kancey, Yaya Diaby, and Trey Palmer add tons of speed while a grinder like Cody Mauch could bring the nastiness the offensive line was missing. The offensive line battles will be tough and intriguing - and what are the Bucs going to do to fill the vacancy in their quarterback room to go along with Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask after not taking one in the draft? Would guys like Carson Wentz or Matt Ryan be viable options as backups?Follow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms…

-Every B1G school but Indiana had a player drafted this year, but Nebraska was 3rd to last with 2 players (Ochaun Mathis and Trey Palmer, both in the 6th round); and Rutgers, who had 1 player drafted -Michigan led the way in the B1G with 9 players drafted, and Ohio State/Penn State both had 6 players drafted. In the West, Purdue (who won the division) had 5 players drafted, followed by Iowa, Northwestern (!) and Illinois with 4 players; and Minnesota/Wisconsin with 3 -Also, it's not only the fact that Nebraska had only 2 players drafted; it's that they were late Day 3 picks. As Sip says, no All-Americans is a problem and has been for Nebraska on the field -Is it better to sign with a team as an undrafted free agent versus being a seventh-round pick? -Garrett Nelson signed with Miami and had 11 other offers from different NFL teams -Seeing all of the talented players that signed as undrafted free agents, it reminds us of how difficult it is to get drafted. Deuce Vaughn is a great example of this -With the conclusion of the 2023 NFL Draft, Georgia now has all of their 2021 defense drafted -Even with the recent struggles, Nebraska is still in the top 10 for all-time draft picks Show sponsored by GANA TRUCKINGAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

The Husker247 Podcast returned on NFL Draft Day and discussed the latest happenings in Nebraska football post spring session, the transfer portal, the aforementioned draft and Nebraska baseball. Things start with some early draft discussion before giving way to the portal. Any of Nebraska's departures a surprise? Will Stephon Wynn be missed? What about on the other end of things — does Nebraska look to add to its roster at all? Where would those spots be at if it does? Then discussion turned to a lightening rod topic in what is happening at Colorado. What does the big roster shift in Boulder mean for the game in September? Following a short break the trio return to discuss the NFL draft and make some predictions. When does Trey Palmer get drafted? Who takes him? How many Huskers are selected during the event? Who are the likely undrafted signees? Finally after all the football talk, Michael Bruntz uses his best bedside manner to walk through another ugly midweek loss for the Huskers and to update where things sit in a season that appears to be going sideways. The Husker247 Podcast returned this week and focused primarily on a pair of discussions that spanned the entire show. The first centered on Nebraska's wide receiver room and the second was a discussion about where things sit for in-state recruiting. Discussion about wide receivers started with Garret McGuire who spoke after Tuesday's practice. The trio gave their thoughts on why his age is overblown, what they've heard or learned regarding McGuire and more about the receivers coach. From there the conversation moved to the position in general. Does Nebraska have a No. 1 wide receiver? Who could the top receivers be this year? Could there be surprises? Will Nebraska struggle because it may not have a big play threat like a Trey Palmer or a Samori Toure? Following a quick timeout the show moved over to recruiting to discuss Ashton Murphy. The Elkhorn South lineman committed to the Huskers, giving the team three commitments for the 2024 class and the first in-state commitment for the cycle. What stands out about Murphy? What did Michael Bruntz and Mike Schaefer see from him at a Warren Academy event in January? Where does he fit moving forward? Then things move over to new offer Eric Ingwerson and why Nebraska is in a good spot to annually find tight ends and linemen like Murphy for every class. One of the best, if not the best prospect in the 2023 NFL Draft class is Jalen Carter. The Georgia defensive lineman is having a rough and rocky draft season. From the racing incident, lying to police, and poor pro day workout. How will this impact his draft stock and is there a way Carter can fix his image before April's draft? In the "this or that" segment, speedsters are the subject. Tennessee's wide receiver Jalin Hyatt is viewed as a first/second-round player. All the while, Nebraska's wide receiver Trey Palmer is viewed as a later-round prospect. Which speedy receiver would the guys prefer in their slotted draft positions? Another installment of "Dames Dudes" CB edition. Which cornerbacks does Damian Parson deem as "HIS" dudes for the 2023 NFL Draft? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

The Husker247 Podcast convened again on Thursday to discuss the news of the week, set up the weekend and bring in some actual expertise in the form of recruiting. Things start off with Michael Bruntz discussing hand size since the NFL Combine is here. Can Ochaun Mathis, Trey Palmer or Travis Vokolek make some headway and move up draft boards with a good showing? Which one intrigues the group the most? Then Mike Schaefer and Brian Christopherson discuss and lament the way things went for Nebraska basketball on Tuesday as Michigan State came to Lincoln and shot lights out in the second half, erasing a double-digit deficit and burying the Huskers under an avalanche of 3-point field goals. Can Nebraska bounce back at Iowa? Does BC have some confidence in Nebraska after the Huskers played well in a loss against a sharpshooting squad? Then Bruntz tells us about Nebraska baseball and where things sit for the program following a sweep at South Alabama to get the season back to .500 and ahead of a clash with Vanderbilt, Hawaii and Ole Miss up in Minneapolis. After a word from the sponsors, Schaefer returns with East Coach analyst Brian Dohn to talk about Nebraska's recruiting efforts in New Jersey, Philadelphia and why that could be fruitful given the connections on the staff. Dohn touches on a few of the top players in 2024 class and some of Nebraska's recent additions, before professing his love for Husker hooper Keisei Tominaga. Nebraska plays spoiler and leaves Hawkeye Nation licking our wounds. With everything on the line, the Hawks were down starters, turned the ball over, played sloppy, and got behind by too many points to put together the kind of day that everyone in Black and Gold was hoping for. We discuss why our Defense struggled to deal with Trey Palmer in the passing game, and the options that the Hawkeye D had to try and survive Cooper Dejean's first quarter knock out hit. We talk about the hurt and disappointment that you feel from the inside when faced with a situation like this, and we discuss the Offense's attempt at a comeback, why we couldn't pull it off, and what made O tough against a lack luster Husker D. Cap the regular season with us here on 372.
