He was "painfully" aware of the show because I never stop talking about it, but I was honored to host him and he's welcome back anytime. We delve into the complexities of the U.S.-Mexico border, where perspectives from the American side are often limited. To truly understand the realities, one must sometimes cross over.We highlight the courageous work of journalists on the Mexican side, who risk their lives to report the truth. Among them is John Ritchie of ImpactoVision, who broadcasts live from the Rio Grande near Eagle Pass, Texas. Ritchie balances empathy for migrants with criticism of illegal crossings and the dangers some face, including bringing children on perilous journeys.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

John Ritchie's Whimsies reflects upon William Shakespeare, each movement a reimagining of a well known sonnet. Wellington based composer Amanda Riddell's Vanya's Lament, is a homage to Russian playwright Anton Chekhov's tragic comedy Uncle Vanya, its four colourful movements reflecting the central moods throughout the plays four acts.
