In 2013, businessman turned independent journalist Jesse Brown launched Canadaland as a podcast focused on media criticism. He grew the business to include many other podcasts, creating his own small media empire. Then October 7 happened and things took a turn. Recently, he hosted anti-vax contrarian doctor, Peter McCullough, in what he claims was a focus on media, but which really turned into a science-denying sh*t show.  We've covered McCullough for years, especially since becoming Chief Medical Officer of supplements grifters, The Wellness Company. A landmark 2026 study links Tylenol use while pregnant to 41% smaller ovaries, 23% fewer ovarian follicles, and 13% smaller uteruses in infant girls. It is the latest research on the effects of acetaminophen, following explosive allegations by HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that connected the popular OTC painkiller to autism & ADHD. Published in Human Reproduction Open, the study followed 302 infant girls, measured acetaminophen in their mothers' urine, and examined the girls by ultrasound. The authors describe it as the first human cohort designed specifically to study prenatal acetaminophen exposure and ovarian development. The doses were not extreme: the median total reported dose across pregnancy was about 3 grams. The study reports a dose-response pattern, and a separate cohort of 1,210 girls showed lower uterine and ovarian volume at puberty. The authors note the design is observational and cannot establish causation. The FDA has approved the first mRNA flu shot: Moderna's mFlusiva – but immunologist Dr. Jessica Rose says it safety tests are flawed. “… You will find the safety data that definitively shows that more people died in the context of the mRNA-1010 injectable product than in the comparator group,” writes Dr. Rose. “You should know that the comparator group ALSO were given a flu vaccine – NOT A SALINE PLACEBO.” Reuters reports the approval covers adults 50 and older, based on a late-stage trial of more than 40,000 people that showed the shot was 26.6% more effective than a licensed standard-dose flu vaccine. But Dr. Rose says that no saline placebo was used, and the comparator group also received a flu vaccine – and that the data she's seen indicates high adverse reactions to the new shots.
