Also, ich kannte Esel und Teddy vorher so ein bisschen – hatte mal ein paar Folgen gehört. Ganz okay, manchmal ganz witzig, aber jetzt nicht so, dass ich Fan wär oder so. Als ich dann gesehen hab, dass die beim Podstock auftreten, dachte ich mir: Komm, schaust dir das mal live an – vielleicht zündet's ja auf der Bühne besser. Tja… hat's. Aber ganz anders, als ich dachte. Am Anfang war alles wie erwartet: die beiden quasseln sich warm, machen ein paar Gags, schmeißen mit Ideen um sich. Irgendwas mit PowerPoint-Karaoke und DIN-Normen – war alles irgendwie typisch „Esel und Teddy“, halt so leicht wirr, aber sympathisch. Und dann auf einmal – kein Witz – sagt Teddy plötzlich: „Bitte schneiden, bitte schneiden“. Ich grinse noch so vor mich hin, weil ich dachte, haha, ist bestimmt so ein Podcast-Gag. Aber dann holt Esel einfach 'nen Rasierer raus. Und fängt an, Teddy live auf der Bühne die Haare abzuschneiden. Einfach so. Zack. Ohne Ankündigung. Ohne doppelten Boden. Bis er ne komplette Glatze hatte. Und dann umgekehrt. Keiner hat sie aufgehalten. Das ganze Publikum so: Was zur Hölle passiert hier gerade? Ich mein, ich bin nicht oft sprachlos – aber da war ich's. Das war so komplett drüber, dass es schon wieder genial war. Ich weiß immer noch nicht, ob das ne Kunstaktion war, ne Wette, oder ob einer von beiden einfach komplett durchgezogen hat. Aber eins ist klar: Ich werd diesen Auftritt nie wieder vergessen. Und ehrlich gesagt: seitdem find ich die beiden nicht mehr nur mittel, sondern irgendwie … also, es gibt auch schlechtere.
