Claudius Pläging sieht eher aus wie euer Lieblingslehrer, der Hausarzt eures Vertrauens oder ein sachlicher Politiker. Ruhig, trocken, gechillt, ein bisschen introvertiert. Keiner, dem man auf Anhieb zutraut, dass in seinem Kopf eine Dauerfeueranlage für Pointen läuft. Aber genau das ist seine Stärke. Er beobachtet, analysiert, denkt - und dann zündet er Gags, die Millionen erreichen. Er schrieb für TV total, Schlag den Raab und Ladykracher, ist kreativer Kopf bei Pastewka und Head Writer für Größen wie Carolin Kebekus, Olli Dittrich, Maren Kroymann, Teddy Teclebrhan und Martina Hill. Zwei Grimme-Preise gehen bisher auf sein Konto. Im Kino stammen unter anderem „Der Vorname“, „Der Nachname“ und „Der Spitzname“ aus seiner Feder. Aktuell arbeitet er an „Horst Schlämmer sucht das Glück“, mit Hape Kerkeling. Damit aber noch nicht genug: Seit 2023 steht er selbst als Stand-up-Comedian auf der Bühne. 2025 hat er mit 49 Jahren den Nachwuchswettbewerb HOT SHOT im Berliner Quatsch Comedy Club gewonnen, bei dem ich mit in der Jury saß. Jetzt ist er 50, und wenn er als „Nachwuchsstar“ angekündigt wird, sorgt das von Hause aus für viele Lacher. Seit seinem Sieg wollte ich ihn unbedingt einladen. Jetzt hat es endlich geklappt.
