Die drei reden sich den Frust von der Seele: Was kann Sané, was Klaas nicht kann? Der eine kickt die Pille, der andere weiß was man auf dem Flughafen WC besser lassen sollte. Denn auch dort gilt, wie beim Landeanflug: das Fahrwerk wird erst ausgeklappt, wenn der Flughafen unter einem ist und kein bisschen früher! Oder klarer formuliert: der Schniedel bleibt bis zum Pissior in der Buchse. Und auf diese Expertise will der Bundestrainer einfach so verzichten? So, wer nicht zur WM fährt, der hat Zeit. Zum Beispiel auch um den ESC zu gucken und zu bewerten. Wie gut war der Jahrgang 2026? Und es ging auch noch um DAS Eigentor der noch jungen Preisverleihungs-Saison. Tonmann Pfeife gewinnt zwar den Podcast Award für das beste Sound Design, zündet aber im selben Atemzug eine tödliche Gag-Gurke und das obwohl er zuvor 5 Jahre passiv Gags unterm Kopfhöher geraucht hat! Are you entering into the dungeon? In this episode of Mere Mortals Book Reviews, I dive into 'Dungeon Crawler Carl' by Matt Dinniman, a fast-paced RPG romp that mixes real-world apocalypse with game-show chaos. I share why this was the perfect palate cleanser after some drier reads, how the humour lands (crude, clever and consistently fun) and what makes Carl and his imperious feline companion Princess Donut so engaging as they descend through deadly, rule-laden dungeons watched by an intergalactic audience.I touch on the book's setup: Earth flattened and repurposed into a subterranean dungeon, humans given a stark choice to enter or struggle topside and reflect on the “would you go in?” dilemma. Expect comparisons to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy in premise vibe (but with very different humour), thoughts on the world-building quirks, and where I'm at with committing to a six-book series. Filmkritiker sind entsetzt: „Der Super Mario Galaxy Film“ habe im Prinzip keine Handlung, sei eine wirre Aneinanderreihung von halbgaren Gags in einer knallbunten Welt, in der alle Figuren aus dem Nintendo-Kosmos sich ein kurzes Stelldichein geben. Zweifellos trifft die Beschreibung auf den ersten Blick zu: Viele Szenen funktionieren kontextlos, wie Brainrot-Content aus dem Netz. Übersehen wird jedoch rasch, dass dieser Film nicht zu wenig, sondern zu viel Handlung hat. Tatsächlich gibt es mehrere ausgedehnte Handlungsbögen, in denen Super Mario, Luigi, Prinzessin Rosalina und weitere Figuren gegen Bowser Jr. und dessen Vater kämpfen, die nach der Herrschaft über die Galaxie streben. Bemerkenswerterweise tragen die Schurken die Züge von Donald Trump und Elon Musk, zugleich erinnern sie an Protagonisten der Manosphere. Merkwürdig ist, wie diese an sich klar Struktur aber unter einem Wust von unnützen Details, Nebenhandlungssträngen und platten Scherzen vergraben wird. Mehr dazu von Wolfgang M. Buddy Lee Hooker is the son of a stunt rider, and the siren song of the family trade has made him one of the biggest legends in Hollywood stunts, an authority on the stunt world, and a 70 (!) year veteran of the industry.
