A week before Gamescom 2019 and Richard and Cesar are ready for the pre-show build up. July NPD figures are out, Super Nintendo games on Switch evidence builds, and Ninja's vacated Twitch channel has streamed.... some interesting content since his departure. Sony is unleashing more PS4 controller varieties, and Halo Infinite's creative director has left the project. In Games Played, Cesar wraps up surprise hit Lost Sphear and he compares it favorably to original PlayStation RPG's and the flood of nostalgia it brought on. He starts the first chapter of the death defying visual novel Fatal Twelve on PS4, and hooks up the old faithful PS3 for a Prince of Persia play-through, beginning with The Sands of Time. He and Richard begin the co-op recommended Wolfenstein: Youngblood on PS4. Richard continues his 480i CRT infused Wii kick, and picks up Super Mario Galaxy again.
