Looks like those AMC Stonks really worked in our favor, (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻. I am overjoyed that I don't have an AMC near me, because if I did, I would be even angrier. Any who, we had a Pokémon-less Nintendo Direct, but it was heavy on the Zelda, The UK and the EU write stern warning in regards to the Activision Microsoft Deal. Sony has a great gaming quarter, and the Switch jumps to #3 all time. The Justin Roiland drama heats up to a new level, and makes me happy about Rick & Morty's future, The Bad Batch may have peaked, and we get to return to Point Place, Wisconsin for another summer. Meanwhile we have what's new on Streaming, as well as news out of Disney, and of course, the aforementioned nonsense coming from AMC.

Wow. Wowowow. THAT, my friends, was a Nintendo Direct for the ages. Despite Nintendo arguably holding back yet again on Tears of the Kingdom, there was no doubt that the trailer we saw for the game was by far the meatiest one yet. Add in the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance NSO news, with The Minish Cap and Link's Awakening DX being playable RIGHT NOW with the Oracles not far behind it, and there was more Zelda news in this 40 minutes than there has been in seemingly years! A HUGE 40 Minute Nintendo Direct was just announced for tomorrow (Wednesday the 8th of Feb), but what can we expect to see? A new Zelda trailer? Metroid Prime 4? Will Pikmin be DELAYED?

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is set to be the very last "big hitter" for Nintendo this year. Assuming of course you very specifically define "big hitter" as something that isn't Kirby, Metroid, Xenoblade, F-Zero, Star Fox, most Zelda games, Mario sports games, Donkey Kong, Fire Emblem, Paper Mario, Yoshi, Pikmin, anything by Platinum Games, or any HD remake of a Gamecube game.
