Singer/Actress Kira Kosarin joins Sam to talk about her new EP, Songbird. Kira talks about her background in a musical family, starring in a hit Nckelodeon show and her transition into music full time. The first single from Kira's EP, First Love Never Lasts, was released on April 20th; Kira discusses the DIY-nature of the album artwork and the meaning behind "Songbird." Kira Kosarin is best known for her role as Phoebe Thunderman on the 2012-2018 Nickelodeon series, The Thundermans. She's been writing music for her whole life and on April 10th 2019, she released her debut album, Off Brand. Her music combines folk-inspired guitar with R&B vocals and production and singer/songwriter lyricism. She's from NJ and Florida, and she's lived in LA for 9 years, training in dance, acting, directing, and music.
