In dieser Folge habe ich noch einmal Steffi Köhler und Marc Pierschel zu Gast. Denn ich wollte mir die Gelegenheit nicht entgehen lassen und sie bitten, einen Blick in eine vegane Zukunft zu werfen und ich freue mich wirklich sehr, dass die beiden noch Zeit hatten, mit mir darüber zu sprechen. Und Marc Pierschel hat davor schon einige andere Filme gemacht und ist schon länger aktiv. Beide leben schon lange vegan und sind sehr engagierte Tierrechtsaktivist·innen. In dieser Folge sprechen wir explizit über ihre Vision einer veganen Zukunft und versuchen uns da so ein bisschen anzunähern. Der Dokumentarfilm "Butenland" von Marc Pierschel ist ein sehr ruhiger, nachdenklich stimmender Film, der das gängige Mensch-Tier-Verhältnis in Frage stellt. Als ich ins Kino ging, um mir den Film anzuschauen, hatte ich eine reine Doku über Hof Butenland erwartet. Der Film ist aber so viel mehr. Er erzählt die Geschichte der beiden Gründer·innen Jan Gerdes und Karin Mück, die Geschichte des Hofes und ihrer Bewohner·innen und zeigt darüber hinaus ganz ruhig und sachlich die Realtität, in der wir uns derzeit befinden. Ein Projekt wie das Kuhaltersheim ist in unserem gegenwärtigen System nicht vorgesehen und so zeigt der Film auch die Schwierigkeiten mit denen Jan Gerdes und Karin Mück in ihrem Alltag zu kömpfen haben.
