As a culture, we are being bombarded with so many dooms' day theories and predictions, some predicting the likes of a Depression-era level of economic and social hit in the coming months. And while that may be something that many in the past few generations have yet to experience, it's not something new. In this conversation our guest Tom Greene brings a measure of hope to our listeners by shedding light on the truth of these words as they stand next to the Truth of God's Word. How does a pastor, ministry leader, or business owner lead the local church or business through even more potentially challenging times just ahead and keep up the financial support they've committed to, as well as grow it?Let's talk about the church's only responsibility.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tom Greene travels across the nation in his commitment to an extensive speaking schedule, which includes churches, missions conventions, leadership conferences, district and national events. He is also the author of the book, "The Game Isn't Over" and co-founder of a ministry advancement group called Greene and Raley.Greene has previously served the Assemblies of God as the National Director of Men's Ministries, National Youth Director, District Youth Director in Oklahoma and in several local churches. He is widely known for his personal passion for missions as demonstrated by his leadership of two national ministries, Speed the Light and Light for the Lost.He and his wife, Pam, have two grown children, Bridgette and Andy, who are both actively involved in ministry. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Connect with today's guest, Tom Greene:Facebook: @tomwgreeneInstagram: @revtomgreeneWeb: www.greeneandraley.comEpisode Features:Get your name on the Waiting List for the 2022 Let's Retreat, scheduled for November 8-10, 2022! What To Do When Fear Creeps In - Turning The Canoes Around: With Tim Gonsalves

One of the most common problems we encounter as humans is: “should we go with logic or should we trust our gut?” This applies double for leaders. And that doubt hurts them because they're not really sure what to do. But as scary as it might seem, you should go with your hunches.  Don't let the fear get in your way.Today a new guest comes to The Frame of Mind Coaching™ Podcast. His name is Tim Gonsalves and he is the National Youth Director at Alpha Canada, a global nonprofit organization that creates safe spaces for people to have conversations about life and faith. In this episode, Tim tells me about a hunch that he has, but isn't sure if he should follow it. He's been thinking for a while on changing some things for the better and now he's stuck in the middle, because a part of him wants to do it, while the other is afraid of this 'leap of faith' and wants to leave it as it is. So my advice for Tim is to follow his hunch, try to take a small step and turn a bunch of  “canoes” around instead of trying to move a whole “ship”. This will allow him to take a chance while thinking about the way he thinks.Come sit with us in this conversation!https://www.frameofmindcoaching.com/the-frame-of-mind-coaching-podcastRead the episode's transcript here:https://www.buzzsprout.com/1252997/episodes/9388108Do you feel stuck? Raising children in 2021 is complicated, to say the least. Raising children in the ministry provides an additional layer of complication into the mix! Today's episode focuses primarily on the topic of parenting in the ministry but provides even more emphasis on raising children to release them into God-given destinies. How do you raise children in the ministry but not expressly for the ministry? How does a parent go about fostering an inner independence into each child, while also preparing themselves for the day when it's time to release that child to live on their own? Our guests for Episode 21 are Tom &  Pam Greene. The Greene's also happen to be the parents of our LTS host Bridgette Tomlin! You'll enjoy this candid conversation as they weigh in on how to love your children enough to let them go.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Tom Greene travels across the nation in his commitment to an extensive speaking schedule, which includes churches, missions conventions, leadership conferences, district and national events.
