This week we cover the beginning of the end for our beloved Nephlite. This is the first time in the series where we see one of the Scout's enemies attack a monster to protect a human. Does this ever happen again? A lot of different emotions and topics come up, as Molly's complicated feelings for Maxfield Stanton, AKA Nephlite of the Negaverse, stir up all sorts of things in Alex and Chris. Tune in to hear everything, and don't forget to listen all the way to the end for something fun. This episode has more Remembrance day talk then the last one. We pay tribute to our fallen soldiers who died fighting for our freedoms that we have today. But there is also SO much more in this episode. So tune in and enjoy!
Today Kitty and Anj dive dolphin-style through a moldy cake portal to LIFE, THE NEGAVERSE, AND EVERYTHING!! Is the Negaverse a mirror universe? Spoiler alert: No it is not, and I will write a 10-page essay so I can tell you why. Also, the Muddlefoots are rockin' it, as always. Whatever 'it' is. Mentioned in podcast episode: CRACKED ARTICLE with very cold Negaverse take: https://www.cracked.com/article_19496_6-classic-kids-shows-secretly-set-in-nightmarish-universes.html Want to send us questions, feedback, and other fun stuff? Today we do a lil something different for the podcast reviewing wise. I hangout with two Liquidator fans (Owen & Tif) and review a comic in my opinion what should have been an episode. "Liquid Diet" written by Liquidator co-creators Kevin Campbell & Brian Swenlin who are known for writing "Just Us Justice Ducks", "Dry-Hard" and a certain episode that had something to do with a Negaverse. We also discuss some Tim Burton & Steven Spielberg films. We also learn some more about DW holy grails. So sit back and enjoy this episode of the SCF while drinking some H2o!! If you decide to drink some soda, make sure it's Surge or Baja Blast!! Links- https://linktr.ee/StCanardFiles DW #DarkwingDuck #Ducktales #DisneyAfternoon This podcast is powered by Pinecast.
This week on Pop Uncultured, a sequel! We pick up right where we left off with JY, Draque, and Candy last week - something about ADHD Voltron - and dive right back into Jeffrey Dahmer's special nephew, SAILOR MOON 4 LIFE, and the epic battle between Sailor Mars and Randy Orton for the honor of Queen Beryl, queen of the Negaverse and the Dark Kingdom. Even though I completely lost the second half of this recording, we still got two great episodes out of it. Suck on that, OBSWhile we maintain our rapid fire ADHD pace, we dial it in a little more this time. We actually watch several videos, even. That is, of course, after we spend 20 minutes on Rule 34 (including Tuxedo Mask, Sailor Moon, Spongebob Squarepants, Patrick, and even the World Trade Center). Hark as we react to all of these cartoons/national tragedies sucking on each other, it's a real treat. We talk about first porns, rental porns, and the classic cinematic trope: woods porn. I know, at this point you might be asking yourself, "How can it get any better than that?" Welp, we learn about all the whacky stuff going on with vaginas. There's like seven labias, a meatus, an office, Bartholemew has a gland in there somewhere, and yet more still. Any of you broads out there confused about your junk? Tune in this week, we'll straighten you out.Last but still definitely least, we have Brian K Scott. This week on Pop Uncultured, conversations fly off (and on) the handle at a record pace. JY, Draque, and Candy join me to create a Voltron of ADHD, where we cover everything from Jewish burial ground hotels, demonic possessions, astral projection, our personalized racial slurs, proper strip club pants, cowboy hat daggering, chocolate babka, Donald Trump capes and aprons, and the alternate episode name: "Hot N Juice". What's the N stand for? Take a wild guess, smart guy. You think you're better than me? It's because I'm Jewish isn't it? I don't take anti-Semitism lightly, so check your god damn privilege. But wait, there's more! In the thick of all this, we chance upon a true legend in the making courtesy of my sister: SAILOR MOON 4 LIFE. Witness the epic battle as Sailor Mars takes on the axe pecks predator, Randy Orton. One is a former world heavyweight champion assisting Beryl, Queen of the Negaverse and the Dark Kingdom, and the other is a magical cartoon girl with a fiery bow and arrow used to defend YouTube from evil. Who will be victorious? There's only one way to find out...wait until next week's episode when we actually finish that video

Let's get dangerous! It's time to take a trip back to The Disney Afternoon by digging deep into one of its most important (and entertaining) shows, Darkwing Duck! Disney's duck superhero broke new ground for their TV animation department by choosing to go a more Warner Brothers-y route with plenty of slapstick, wild takes, and utter destruction of the fourth wall. The result is a fun little series that aged incredibly well and influenced Disney to be even more experimental in the '90s and beyond. This week, Cartoons 101's Matthew Jay joins us to examine the strange history of Darkwing Duck and one of its most inventive and villain-heavy episodes ever. The Sailor Scouts are battling the forces of the Negaverse and continue to be victorious at every turn. A brief lull has allowed a relative period of peace for our heroes. A school trip is an opportunity for some much needed rest and reflection. The battles are done for now and the search for the missing Moon princess continues. A new transfer student arrives in time to join our heroes in a mountain paradise. As they arrive in a place far away from civilization, love is in the air. Find out who will triumph and who will be sent to the Negaverse!...
Take some time to revel in the heresy as Rissy and Jeff reconvene after too much time off to discuss amazing trends from days of yore, their shared hatred of "Momtrepenuer Consultants", and the hottest trailers for upcoming flicks. Also there is a rather in-depth discussion *shocker* of Detectives Comics Comics and how that cinematic universe actually has a ton of potential for great movies. News coming from Blythe involves a new Doctor and Halo 5, while Amanda feverishly pens a last minute letter from the pooper at an Easter Brunch.
It finally happened! Erika and I finally got to talk magical girls and record it as an episode!! Her game Five Across the Heart is both a rad game about punk mahous and an excellent study of the evolution of an RPG. Come hang out with us in this episode that is definitely not a ploy by the Negaverse to siphon all your mahou shoujo excitement. WINK. THE SHOUJO Erika on twitter THE MAHOU Erika's Five Across the Heart (& more!) gamedev thread
Rissy is writing the new Damsel show, rubbing sea cucumbers on her face, and retweeting Nazi punches. Jeff is heading to Pax South, watching Black Mirror, and breaking up with Marvel. Blythe stopped catching Pokemon for like 5 minutes to talk about Carrie Fisher and pussy jokes. Amanda gets a break while Elvis steps in and writes a letter confessing that he (and all of us) are serial killers.
Rissy has returned from Canada in (mostly) one piece but still full of farts and a love for Asian skincare. Jeff has been drinking out of things that are not cups and listening to Hello from the Magic Tavern. Blythe is fighting with Apple, but doesn't want Jeff to go on a rant about it. And Amanda would rather impale herself on an object than to keep reliving high school.
The world's turned upsiiiiide doooown!!! Well, we were joking but it kind of has been (Thanks, Trump) but still! With both Blythe and Amanda out for the holiday week, it falls on Jeff and Rissy to step up and offer you the podcast you crave, just like a nice turkey dinner.
