[School of Everything Else 2026] This is a commissioned episode for Chris Finik, and Alejandra Vargas (both of whom guest on this show) as well as Sarah Montgomery and Self. The remnants of the shattered team at Telltale, seminal adventure game developers of the 2000s and 2010s return as AdHoc Studio with one of the very best of its type. The premise is simple enough, almost rote by today's standards; In a world of superpowered criminals private security firm SDN send out problem-solving metahumans. The A-Team are all Avengers-Level heroes that America can be proud of, but we don't get to interact with them. Instead, we as the weary Robert Robertson III, last in his family to wear the Mecha Man suit, have been tasked with coordinating the Z-Team, a bunch of grumpy, rude losers circling the drain and all on the cusp of being fired. What we do and say as Robert, the people we grow closer with, and the jobs we send them out to do will be the difference between a complete disaster and perhaps a group of friends who do something right for once in their wretched lives. It's fantastic!

For one hour on stage, I only have one problem in my life. What if you could find something that does that for you? Show Notes In this episode of Shark Theory, Baylor answers a question he was asked after a recent keynote: What is it like on your side of the stage? Public speaking is often labeled as the number one fear in the world. But Baylor challenges the idea that fear is universal. Many fears are borrowed. Many limitations come from opinions, polls, or statistics that never actually included you. Instead of asking whether something is scary, ask whether you're looking at it through the right lens. One of the fastest ways to overcome fear is immersion. When Baylor trains for extreme endurance events, he surrounds himself with people who love the grind. The workout doesn't get easier, but the perspective changes. Passion shifts perception. When you're around people who love something, you begin to see it as opportunity instead of threat. On stage, Baylor explains that the real gift isn't applause or ego. It's focus. For that hour, he has one job: make the audience's time worth it. Everything else fades. No distractions. No noise. Just one problem to solve. That clarity is peace. He challenges listeners to find the activity in their own life where everything else disappears. The thing that pulls you into the moment so fully that your world narrows down to one objective. Finally, Baylor reflects on the art of reading the room. Adjusting. Expanding when people lean in. Pulling back when they drift. Creating rhythm. It's not about performing at people. It's about connecting with them. The deeper message: everyone has a story. Everyone has something that could impact someone else. The question isn't whether you're capable. It's whether you're willing to step into it. What You'll Learn in This Episode Why many fears are borrowed from others How immersion shifts perception The power of narrowing your focus to one problem Why passion eliminates distraction How connection creates impact Why your story matters more than you think Featured Quote "When you find the thing that makes everything else fade away, you've found your lane."

[School of Everything Else 2026] It's not often we talk about audiodramas on here, the last one I recall that wasn't made by me was the phenomenal World War Z in 2011. THESE three were what I needed in order to care about Star Wars again. Scholar Ian Doescher published the first three (of what would expand to nine and beyond) in lovely hardback book form between 2013 and 2014 envisioning how The Star Wars Original Trilogy would have sounded had it been written by William Shakespeare. But the audio versions we had not listened to until recently, and we absolutely love them. On this show you will be transported to a galaxy far, far away, one dimension over from the version we're all familiar with, where Rebels and Imperials alike speak in iambic pentameter and soliloquise their innermost thoughts and motivations. It's funny as hell, often rather disarmingly touching and helps garner a fresh perspective on these immortal tales.

Why does the stock market keep going up when the economy feels so bad? It’s the question we probably get the most and, quite frankly, it’s not a bad one. The primary reason equities seem invincible is because of the dramatic increase in the money supply over the past four decades. That explains the supply side of the equation at least. But a lot had to happen behind the scenes to allow for the money supply to be absorbed into the financial system and ultimately benefit a fraction of the population. Here's a bold claim — and Nikki stands by it:If you give your body 15–30 strategic minutes a day, everything in your life improves. Your focus. Your income. Your relationships. Your energy. Your sanity. In this episode, Nikki breaks down why high-achieving women struggle to prioritize their bodies, how hustle culture quietly sabotages performance (especially in midlife), and why elite performers treat physical and mental health as non-negotiable inputs — not optional extras. This isn't about self-care clichés or doing less. It's about understanding that your brain cannot operate at a high level if your body is under-fueled, overstimulated, and constantly deprioritized. When your body has what it needs, you get more done in less time — and you stop living in a constant state of stress and burnout. If you've ever felt like taking care of yourself would cause everything else to fall apart, this episode will challenge that belief in the best way.In This Episode, You'll Learn:Why prioritizing your body actually creates more time, not lessHow under-fueling impacts focus, decision-making, and productivityWhy high-achieving women default to putting themselves lastThe difference between working harder vs. working smarter with your healthWhy running on caffeine and stress tanks performanceHow boundaries and delegation improve leadership at work and at homeWhy taking care of your body isn't selfish — it's strategicNext Steps

In this episode, Tina sits down with Mackenzie, a nurse practitioner and Fit + Fueled client who was no stranger to health advice. She had the knowledge, the background, and was already doing many of the right things. But as she entered perimenopause, the strategies that once worked stopped delivering results. In this Crypto Town Hall episode, we unpack the wild silver surge hitting all-time highs amid euphoric (and defensive) sentiment, while Bitcoin and crypto stay frustratingly flat. We debate why precious metals are stealing the spotlight as the go-to safe haven right now, macro cross-currents shaking things up, Bitcoin's delayed breakout potential, self-custody hurdles, altcoin despair, and the growing role of Bitcoin-backed lending in 2026.

Follow - Pt 4 - This is the story of the best and worst day Peter had ever had. We see how the faith he showed that day would be the foundation of the greatest movement the world has ever seen. But we also see how his worst instincts would get in the way of Jesus saving the world. Those instincts are still alive in Christ's people today. What should we do to overcome them?

“This is a book about my life, about admitting ‘I was wrong,' and about how important it is to say it out loud,” is how our guest today, Diane Ravitch, begins her 2025 memoir, An Education: How I Changed My Mind About Schools and Almost Everything Else. What follows is her incredible life's journey spanning nearly nine decades, from learning to write as a left-hander using a quill pen at her Texas public school to becoming one of the most influential leaders of the modern conservative American education reform movement. Having spent the first half of her professional life in education policy advocating for national standards, testing, and accountability reform alongside charter schools and so-called school choice programs; as a founder of Thomas B. Fordham Institute, Assistant Secretary of Education during the George HW Bush administration, and serving on the board of the National Assessment for Educational Progress or NAEP (the “gold standard” of achievement assessments), however, as the opening quote reveals, after seeing this vision of education reform in action, she very publicly changed her mind about all of it.Diane has now spent the last 15 years vigorously challenging the same education reform movement she helped build. Co-founding the Network for Public Education, and writing several best-selling books critical of testing, corporate influence in education policy, and privatization. “We must have a more generous, contemporary vision of public schools and what they can be,” she writes. “I will use whatever time I have to fight for the ideals I believe in, to love the people who mean the most to me, to do whatever I can to strengthen democracy in my beloved country, and to advance the common good.”An Education: How I Changed My Mind About Schools and Almost Everything Else (Columbia University Press)
On today's episode of The Kristian Harloff Show, the panel breaks down a massive new rumor surrounding Avengers: Doomsday — with reports claiming the action in Marvel's next event film could eclipse everything the MCU has ever done before. Is this hype justified, or is Marvel once again setting expectations impossibly high? We also discuss Hulk reportedly sitting out Avengers: Doomsday, following comments from Mark Ruffalo, and what that could mean for the overall roster and story direction. On the DC side, new details and an image from Man of Tomorrow spark conversation around Maxima and how this project may shape the future of the DCU. Plus, casting rumors heat up around who will become the next James Bond, with reports pointing to a mid-2026 decision, and Kathleen Kennedy doubles down on the idea that Indiana Jones will never truly be finished. Big franchises, bold claims, and major implications across Marvel, DC, and beyond — let's get into it. Get Your FREE Sunday Planning Checklist: https://thesuccesslift.com/sunday-planning-checklist January motivation is a lie. And if you're still relying on it, you're already losing. In this episode of Success Lift, Brian Pannuzzo breaks down The Forever Test, a no-BS way to build habits and a life that actually last, not just one that looks good for 21 days in January. Because let's be honest: If your goals only work when life is quiet, predictable, and "perfect"… they're trash. This episode isn't about hype. It's about structure over feelings. Identity over willpower. Systems that survive chaos. Brian challenges the obsession with clean slates and short-term motivation and replaces it with something far more powerful: habits that work on your worst days, not just your best ones. You'll learn: ✅ Why motivation is unreliable and what to build instead ✅ How identity-based habits create long-term change ✅ The real reason most resolutions die by February ✅ How to design a lifestyle you don't need to escape from ✅ What it means to pass the Forever Test in business, health, and life This is about playing the long game. The marathon. The reps nobody sees. The framework that holds when travel, social pressure, stress, and chaos hit.

Get Daily Motivational Emails from Brian https://thesuccesslift.com/join January motivation feels powerful, doesn't it? New year, clean slate, big goals. But if your excitement fades by mid-month and nothing actually changes, what did that motivation really buy you? In this episode, we break down what I call The January Illusion, why resolutions feel productive but so often fail, and what actually creates results that last past the first few weeks of the year. Spoiler: it's not hype or willpower. It's systems, structure, and accountability. If you're serious about making 2026 different, not just setting goals but following through, this conversation is for you. ***Get Your FREE Sunday Planning Checklist: https://thesuccesslift.com/sunday-planning-checklist What we get into: ✅ Why motivation creates the illusion of progress without real results ✅ The dopamine hit of goal-setting and why it wears off so fast ✅ Why relying on motivation alone is a losing strategy ✅ How systems and structure outperform willpower every time ✅ The common January traps that derail most resolutions ✅ How to set realistic, specific goals that actually fit your life ✅ Why accountability is the missing link for most people ✅ How to audit, adapt, and stay consistent when motivation fades The big takeaway: Motivation might light the spark, but systems keep the fire burning. If your goals don't have structure, accountability, and a plan for when things get messy, they won't survive January let alone the rest of the year. Real change comes from designing your weeks with intention, setting realistic targets, and building systems that support your lifestyle. January motivation isn't the win. Consistent execution is.
The Washington Roundtable discusses Donald Trump's use of force in Venezuela, his desire to take over Greenland, and the historical echoes of the Administration's new imperialist projects. The panel also considers Trump's brand of “narcissistic unilateralism” and the increased risks of global conflict when foreign policy is based on one man's whims. “Donald Trump wants to write his name into history,” the staff writer Susan B. Glasser says. “He wants every single person in the world to have to exchange their map for one of the United States that looks different, that looks bigger, and that everybody for all eternity will say, ‘Donald Trump did this.' ” This week's reading: “Why Donald Trump Wants Greenland (and Everything Else),” by Susan B.
