PAUSE… You are safe here, In the stillness of the night, Far away from the thoughts in your mind, Disconnected from their stories and emotions, Free to sink into peaceful sleep. PAUSE… Let the thoughts pass, As you sink into deep sleep. PAUSE… No matter what the clouds looks like, No matter how scary or heavy they may seem, Nothing can touch you here. Lean into its soft waves of air traveling through your body, And feel it slow you down. PAUSE… Let your inbreath go deeper, And your outbreath reach further. In, And out. Relax your body. Relax your mind. Relax your soul. LONG PAUSE… The mind calls to you, Filled with the details of things left undone, Worries about what's ahead, And the flood of emotions that accompany them all.  She's loud. Dramatic. And persistent. PAUSE… But your breath is more powerful. She's calming, And soothing, And connects you to your soul. The voice whose whispers can drown out the noise of the mind. PAUSE… So breathe here tonight, Deeply into the center of you, And let your body melt fully into your bed.  PAUSE… All those thoughts, All those worries, All those emotions, They're clouds in the sky above, Far away, Light, Slowly floating by you. PAUSE… Be here, And just observe. Notice that some of the clouds are grey,  Heavy with moisture,  Threatening to rain. PAUSE… Some clouds are flashing with lightning, Erratic, unpredictable,  And even scary. PAUSE... Some clouds are white and fluffy, And some are thin streaks across the sky. Just be here, And notice them. Watching them all roll by, Far above you, Out of reach, And unable to touch you. PAUSE… You are safe here, In the stillness of the night, Far away from the thoughts in your mind, Disconnected from their stories and emotions, Free to sink into peaceful sleep. PAUSE… Let the thoughts pass, As you sink into deep sleep. PAUSE… No matter what the clouds looks like, No matter how scary or heavy they may seem, Nothing can touch you here. PAUSE… So relax deeply, As your mind quiets, As your body softens, And your soul embraces the stillness of the night. Sweet Dreams, Beautiful.

LONG PAUSE… My mind wants to scream,  That no one really gets,  The mountains I carry around.  My heart wants to cry, And give it all up, Walk away without a sound.  PAUSE… But instead, here I am, Trying to find peace, Believing the chaos will fade. I have to be willing, To sit in the fire, Without feeling dismayed.  PAUSE… So breathe with me now,  Slower and slower,  Let your breath calm you down.  Feel your mind ease,  From all of that stress, Feel yourself melt in the ground.  LONG PAUSE… Layer after layer, Slowly peels away, Releasing the mountains of pain.  Layer after layer, Slowly reveals,  The vulnerable me that remains.  PAUSE… Right here in this space, Naked and raw, I see what I need the most. And just then I feel, The arms of the Divine, Hug me like a beautiful ghost.  LONG PAUSE… She whispers her words, So I can feel loved, There's comfort that she's here to bring.  When you're falling apart,  I'm right here with you, I'll gather up everything.  PAUSE… I let myself cry,  I let myself go, I release it all out with each tear. This is me, drowning in tasks, I need to come up for some air.  PAUSE… All of it swirls, all of it spins, And blends like waves in the sea. The older I get, the more that I love, The perfectly imperfect me.  I've spent too much time,  Wondering if I could, Change some things about me. If only I did this,  Or looked that that,  The world would see me differently. PAUSE… But time has taught me,  That each time I try, To be anything other than me, My soul slowly corrodes,  My light slowly dims,  And I can no longer see.  LONG PAUSE… I've been told I'm too much, My dreams are too big,  My scars should make me ashamed.  Turn down the volume,  And stay in your box, So we know you've been tamed.  PAUSE… But each scar I have,  Paints a tapestry, Of my life lived loud and free.  I won't let you tell me, They're ugly or wrong, I'm proud ‘cause this is me. PAUSE… She calls you to surrender,  Your ego at the door.  She asks you to let go of, Who you've been before.  PAUSE… Your best self calls upon you, She whispers in your ear. She wants you to be able, To live not ruled by fear.  PAUSE… So come inside and find your breath,  And feel the fateful pull. She waits for you to make a choice, To live your life so full.  My best self knows when to move, And when to take a rest.  She's aware of all my boundaries,  But pushes me past my best.  PAUSE… She always knows the larger truth, What I can't always see.  I am capable of so much more, So many possibilities beyond me. LONG PAUSE… If I sit down and tell the truth, I often keep her at bay.  I ignore her voice inside of me, And excuse the thoughts away.  PAUSE… Because what she says quite often feels, Like impossible tasks and chores. Not only will they test me,  For others, they may cause wars.  PAUSE… There's a mix of fear and wonder, That others have when they, See you as your best self, Creating your own world today.  PAUSE… On one hand, some will marvel, At how you blow past your goals.  On the other, some will hate you, For exposing their own holes. PAUSE… But as time passes, you will know, That your best self is wise.  You'll see that all of that, Is noise above which you rise.  LONG PAUSE… Your best self only wants, For you to live life your way. The calm of the night,  Hums with a gentle tease.  LONG PAUSE… You'll have to let them go,  All those thoughts inside.  Releasing all the pressure,  You'll have to move them aside.  LONG PAUSE… Soften your beautiful body, Relax from head to toe.  Imagine you're body melts,  Into your bed below.  LONG PAUSE… The calm of the night is calling, Inviting you to be, One with its peaceful softness,  Completely you and free.  Breathe and expand,  And gather remains of the day.  Breathe and command,  Your life is yours today.  LONG PAUSE… Come into the calm,  By riding streams of air,  In and out of your nose,  The calm will find you there.  PAUSE… Deeper and deeper you breathe,  More and more space you feel. Allow it to take over you, And begin to slowly heal.  LONG PAUSE… Sometimes it's a fight, To shed all that weight. It prevents sleep from coming, Tries to seal your restless fate.  PAUSE… But all of it can't withstand, The power of your breath.  The magic of the air, That clears you from the depths.  PAUSE… Breathe and expand,  And gather remains of the day.  Breathe and command,  Your life is yours today.  LONG PAUSE… Ease yourself right in, To the comforting layers of rest. For awhile it's been hunting,  Preying on your fright.  PAUSE… Perhaps you haven't known, The meaning of these clouds. Perhaps they've just left you, Feeling heavy, sad, and down.  PAUSE… But if you breath deep, And take some time to see, With loving eyes you may just, See what's here clearly.  PAUSE… The magic of this vision, Of seeing what is here, The clouds of darkness lift, And release all the fear.  LONG PAUSE… So come into your body,  Feeling every move. Gently slow it down, And find a tender groove. PAUSE… See if you can find, Gratitude for the way, Your breath gives you life, And awakened you today. PAUSE… Breathe slowly, And relax. Breathe fully, And release.  Breathe calmly, And lay back, The darkness will cease. LONG PAUSE… Open up your heart, And open up your mind. Give yourself the chance, To unpack what's behind.  PAUSE… These clouds of darkness play, And fog your inner light. But they're just here to nudge you, To look at what's not right.  PAUSE… So search yourself for moments, That might have triggered fear, To come inside your head, And spread its darkness here. PAUSE… And as you find these things, That caused this cloud to build. Imagine so much love, Expanding till you're filled.  LONG PAUSE… As you feel the darkened clouds, Dissolve and thin and lift. Though your mind is doing its best to help, There's a time when your thoughts must scatter.   PAUSE… Night time is that sacred time, A chance to pause and rest. We all need a break from the give and take, A block of hours away from the stress.   PAUSE… Even when we love our lives, The to-do list can be a tsunami. An overpowering cascade of tasks, That batters both mind and body.   PAUSE… What's more, we have expectations, Strict requirements for perfect completion. Little do we know, we're chasing a myth, Harming ourselves for no reason.   PAUSE… Perfection is a room with no door, A cold, unreachable place. We spend years of our lives seeking it out, To then be humbled when our efforts go to waste.   PAUSE… Nothing in life can be perfect, When each eye has its own view. There is no ideal to suit every mind, And no perception that's truly true.   PAUSE… We end up driving ourselves crazy, As we chase what we think others want. But just like us, they're racing in circles, Paying no mind to what we are or are not. PAUSE… Things feel so life-or-death sometimes, Like the world will stop if we fail. But failure is as unmeasurable as everything else, So it's useless to allow fear to prevail.   PAUSE… Instead, we need to change our view, To decide on our own kind of perfection. It needn't make sense to anyone else, A bit like looking at your own reflection.   Breathe in and see yourself as only you can, your strengths, your quirks, your magic. Breathe out and set that essence free, let the world know who you really are.   LONG PAUSE… What might you do if you wouldn't be judged, If no one waited to rate your performance? Would you find a new passion or take a new risk, Or perhaps reassess your importance?   PAUSE… The truth is, you can do those things. You can chart a new path right this minute. For the eyes you feel upon you all the time, Only exist when the mind overruns your spirit. PAUSE… Freedom is the antidote to perfection, The path to your own ideal world. You can create your own utopia, When you let your anxieties unfurl.   PAUSE… Though it's hard to know where they come from, These fears show up in us all. We want to fit in, to feel worthy and admired, But instead end up scared and small.   PAUSE… It seems so counterintuitive, To go against the grain, To throw out years of effort and worry, In an attempt to relieve the pain.   PAUSE… But that's exactly what it takes, To find your own perfection. Adjust the bar to fit you best, And set out in your own direction. PAUSE… Your life is indeed a marathon, But in truth, there's just one runner. You're forever poised to take the prize, When you're racing to steal your own thunder. PAUSE… You are your only competition. You're also your very best fan. You have nothing to prove to anyone but you, And you're the only one in charge of the plan.   Inhale and think about what it means to be the person in charge of you. Exhale and know you're up to the task, that you can make your dreams come true. LONG PAUSE… Things can be different from here on out, Old patterns can be changed. You just have to agree to stop the chase, To let expectations be rearranged.   PAUSE… Imagine how liberating it will feel, To step out of judgement's way. You can corral them with reason. You can keep them at bay, With the movement of the day. PAUSE… But when the night comes,  When you've slowed yourself down, The seeds of fear, Grow in your mind, And in your body. PAUSE… Fear arises within your belly, Slowly at first. Little bubbles of discomfort. But as it takes over your mind, Boulders of fear lay upon your chest, Freezing you, And weighing you down.  LONG PAUSE… Bring your hand to your chest, sweet one, And touch the fear that's here. PAUSE… Let the warmth from your hand, Move through the rock, And pass through it easily, Knowing what's beneath.  PAUSE… Your hand can feel the vibrations, Of what's underneath the fear.  PAUSE… The determination arises, As your chest expands to breathe.   PAUSE… You can feel the stability, Of your reliable heartbeat.  PAUSE… You can feel the promise, Of each new breath.   PAUSE… Fear can be here, It doesn't have to take over. It doesn't have to blind. It doesn't have to stay. PAUSE… You are stronger than your fears. LONG PAUSE… Breathe deeply now,  Inviting the fresh air to come inside,  And clear what's here. And as you breathe out,  Feel your body soften and relax. Another deep breath in, Even bigger than before, Gathering up the heaviness, The thoughts, And then releasing it,  Melting yourself even further.  PAUSE… Slow your breathing into a gentle rhythm, Coming in deep into your body. PAUSE… Letting the waves of air calm you, Relax you. LONG PAUSE… It may be tempting to look away, And avoid the boulders of fear. PAUSE… It may be tempting to succumb to them,  Handing them to your mind, And unleashing their demons,  PAUSE… But if you slow down, And take an honest look at what's here, If you can ask fear what it wants.  The heaviness begins to dissolve, And the boulders begin to crumble.  LONG PAUSE… Listen for the voice, That tells you it's fine. That everything will be okay. Listen for your voice, That brings you back home,  And reminds you of who you are.  PAUSE… You are stronger than your fears.  Sweet Dreams, Beautiful.

So breath out, my love, And release the stress of it all, So you can open yourself to healing, So you can see with a clear mind the steps ahead of you, So you can be be deeply connected to your soul,  Whose wisdom will comfort you. PAUSE… Breathe in fully, And imagine the air flowing in and traveling to your head. Then exhale,  And imagine the air letting go of all those thoughts and emotions. Breath in, feeling the air filling your mind with its fresh breeze, And breathe out, releasing everything inside.  Breathe in, Breathe out. PAUSE… Like a swarm of bees, The chaos is loud and feels tumultuous. Little pieces of energy darting in every direction. The thoughts, The emotions, The splitting of your energy trying to dance with it all. PAUSE… But step back a bit, dear one, And know that you are not the chaos. You can step away from the swarm, And allow it to continue its movements without you. You can choose to stop dancing erratically, And instead, Surrender to the calm. The calm will first saturate your body, Then your mind, And finally, your soul, So you're drenched in its blue waters. And because you allow it to do so, It will then emit its calming waves out from you, Calming the chaos from which you came. So much energy is spent,  Trying to calm their wild ride. PAUSE… I beat myself up for not doing,  The tasks that need to get done. But all my time is spent,  Holding back the desire to run. PAUSE… One minute I'm angry, The next I'm in tears. The tough love voice yells loud, Its truth rings loud in my ears. PAUSE… I crumble into bed, Exhausted from the fight. Feeling a little crazy, Knowing I'm not quite right.  PAUSE… It's here at the lowest,  When the whisper softly sings. It'll all be okay, sweet one, We all struggle with these things. PAUSE… Breathe into yourself, she says, And remember who you are. These toxic mental demons, Will drag you way out far.  PAUSE… But see if you can find,  The space between your breaths. See if you can feel,  Where stillness comes to rest.  I breathe in deep and focus, On the air that fills me up. I breathe out fully and notice, Thoughts empty from this cup.  PAUSE… Breathe in and let it clear. Breathe out all the fear. Breathe in and slow it down. LONG PAUSE… My mind wants to scream,  That no one really gets,  The mountains I carry around.  My heart wants to cry, And give it all up, Walk away without a sound.  PAUSE… But instead, here I am, Trying to find peace, Believing the chaos will fade. I have to be willing, To sit in the fire, Without feeling dismayed.  PAUSE… So breathe with me now,  Slower and slower,  Let your breath calm you down.  Feel your mind ease,  From all of that stress, Feel yourself melt in the ground.  LONG PAUSE… Layer after layer, Slowly peels away, Releasing the mountains of pain.  Layer after layer, Slowly reveals,  The vulnerable me that remains.  PAUSE… Right here in this space, Naked and raw, I see what I need the most. How long have you been wishing That someone would notice your pain? PAUSE… We need to eat; it's a fact of life. We need to nourish ourselves. But nourishment comes in many forms, What you need may not come from the shelves. PAUSE… What exactly do you hunger for? What would fill you up? What have you been missing out on? And how long have you gone without? PAUSE… The first step toward satisfaction Is to name the thing you seek. To see it and feel it and call it out, The Universe will see your technique. PAUSE… Think about why you're in the back, About why you don't speak up. What makes you feel less important, Than those you take care of? PAUSE… They need you to be healthy. They need you to be strong. They want to know that you're okay, That you're not just playing along. PAUSE… So what will you tell them when they ask, When they see that your shine has faded? How will you tell them to care for you? What yearning begs for urgent attention? PAUSE… How will it feel to get what you need? What will it change deep within? Will guilt rise up to steal your joy, And will you send it packing? LONG PAUSE… Inhale and fortify yourself with thoughts of your power and value. Exhale and liberate yourself from the thoughts that undermine you. PAUSE… Where does this hunger come from? What can it tell you if you listen? Is there something helpful and positive Hiding in its shadows? PAUSE… What's the secret message, The thread that runs throughout? What can this empty space tell you, About the cost of going without? PAUSE… We all know your heart's in the right place, That you want what's best for all. But deprivation just can't get you there. It just doesn't have the power. PAUSE… Instead you need indulgence, At least every now and then. You need to see yourself as worth the effort, And make time to see it through. PAUSE… Feel the new energy in your body, The burst that happens when you feed your soul. Sink into the safety of fullness, And let yourself rest there. PAUSE… Imagine how beautiful you look now, Shining with the glow of abundance. Enjoy the warmth coursing through you, Flavored with love and gratitude. PAUSE… So many things feel possible now, So many ideas come forth. It's hard to know how stunted we are, When we're just holding on for dear life. PAUSE… But that isn't you anymore. You've asked for what you need. And because those you love truly love you back, What you asked for came to be. LONG PAUSE… Inhale and know you're part of something bigger than yourself. Or might you wish for something more, If given the chance to aim much higher? PAUSE… Is there an idea tucked down deep in your soul, A picture of what could happen. But how much do we think about, The strong foundation we need inside? PAUSE… Close your eyes and check in with yourself, Try to see how you're holding up. Are there cracks in your underpinnings? Do you feel tremors now and then? PAUSE… We don't all start out on solid ground, Some get more support than others. And then when we're tasked with building our lives, We forget to ask if we're ready. PAUSE… We assume we have all that we need, And the world around us expects it. But we never know just how much that is, Until we've already started building. PAUSE…   By then, it's easy to decide, That everything will probably be fine. We might travel years down the road, Before worries creep into our minds. LONG PAUSE… Inhale deep, down to your core, and let your essence surround you. LONG PAUSE… Inhale and sink deeper into knowing, see just what you need. Exhale as insight finds you, believe in the growth it promises. PAUSE… Fear often comes when we do this work, But know that it's an illusion. There's nothing to fear from your deepest self, And it will never leave you forsaken. PAUSE… Evolution must be a collaboration, A continuous project of growth. If you tend the framework regularly, Your spirit will do the hard work. PAUSE… But if you let it fall into disrepair, If you look away when it calls you, You cannot move toward serenity, And your to-be-fixed list simply grows. But how much do we think about, The strong foundation we need inside? PAUSE… Close your eyes and check in with yourself, Try to see how you're holding up. Are there cracks in your underpinnings? Do you feel tremors now and then? PAUSE… We don't all start out on solid ground, Some get more support than others. And then when we're tasked with building our lives, We forget to ask if we're ready. PAUSE… We assume we have all that we need, And the world around us expects it. But we never know just how much that is, Until we've already started building. PAUSE…   By then, it's easy to decide, That everything will probably be fine. We might travel years down the road, Before worries creep into our minds. LONG PAUSE… Inhale deep, down to your core, and let your essence surround you. Exhale and feel the answers come, rising as you need them. PAUSE… Once uncertainties fill our minds,  The cracks are already there. But cracks don't mean the house will fall. Instead they're reminders to take a peek below. PAUSE… Just like maintenance for your house, Your soul needs tune-ups too. We need to know of creaks and shifts, Of changes at our center. PAUSE… Sometimes the act of checking in,  Is all the process requires. Other times, there's work to be done, Tasks that cannot be ignored. PAUSE… Some fixes may call for brand new tools, While others are familiar. Your soul will tell you what it needs, If you just ask the question. LONG PAUSE… Inhale and sink deeper into knowing, see just what you need. Exhale as insight finds you, believe in the growth it promises. PAUSE… Fear often comes when we do this work, But know that it's an illusion. There's nothing to fear from your deepest self, And it will never leave you forsaken. PAUSE… Evolution must be a collaboration, A continuous project of growth. If you tend the framework regularly, Your spirit will do the hard work. PAUSE… But if you let it fall into disrepair, If you look away when it calls you, You cannot move toward serenity, And your to-be-fixed list simply grows. PAUSE… Instead, why not stay on top of the job? Why not give it consistent attention? That effort will yield an unshakeable foundation, And a beautiful home for your soul. LONG PAUSE… Breathe in and picture the dwelling you've built, the perfect space to thrive. Breathe out with certainty as you tell yourself that dwelling will soon be yours.   Namaste, Beautiful

Sometimes they just need a chance to escape.  Or maybe just an exhale is needed, So everything you've been holding can reshape.  PAUSE… Sometime you don't even know how you got here, Under these dark, dreary skies. But you looked up one day and noticed, That the light was gone from your eyes. PAUSE… It's okay, sweet one. We all find ourselves here at times.  We all have felt the weight pull us down. It's okay, this season will pass, Your light will return, I promise, you won't drown.  Bring your attention here, To the movement of your breath. Detach from those thoughts, And feel your body's depth. LONG PAUSE… The tighter you hold onto, The emotions and the thoughts, The heavier they get, The more you feel like you're lost.  PAUSE… So imagine that your breath takes you, To the safe space of love in your heart. This space that darkness can't touch, This beautiful, sacred part. LONG PAUSE… Feel the warmth in your chest, The gentle hum of your light. Let it remind you of who you are, Let it comfort you tonight.  PAUSE… I know the thoughts are scary, And the emotions keep swirling around. I know they dance with each other, And quickly compound. PAUSE… But if you just practice, Separating yourself from their dance. You'll see that you don't have to, Succumb to their heavy trance. PAUSE… These feelings, these worries,  And the heaviness that they bring. They're all temporary, And soon won't mean a thing. PAUSE… The best thing you can do, The strategy that always works best. Is to connect with your deep self, And remember how you're blessed. LONG PAUSE… So bring your attention here, To the movement of your breath. Detach from those thoughts, And feel your body's depth.
