PAUSE Take a moment to turn inward, And explore the richness, the vastness, of peace within you. Stay with that peace. PAUSE There are days and weeks when you're overburdened, when there's just too much to do, and too little time to do it. PAUSE Keeping with the peace inside you, Imagine a clock on the wall ticking away, A clock telling you how much time you have for this and for that. PAUSE Draw a deep breath, and breathe into the clock. Breathe into it  until you see, The hands of the clock gently letting go, and sailing away. PAUSE Now, visualize yourself removing the clock from the wall,  Setting in a box, and closing the lid. PAUSE After you close the box, Feel yourself growing strong and taking charge. Look for the ways those wishes still matter, The ways they still speak of your truth. PAUSE… This trip across your mind, Is such a critical task. It reminds you who you're meant to be, Leaving all your selves unmasked.   PAUSE… And sharing that truth with the universe, Stating your wishes outright, Is an equally important step, One that takes them out into the light. PAUSE… So turn your mind into a canvas, And draw whatever you see. Vivid pictures of your ideal life, Loving portraits of what you need. LONG PAUSE… Now that you have a mental mural, A rendering of wishes and goals, Raise that canvas toward the skies, To the sea of starry souls.   PAUSE… Let your yearnings join with theirs, Becoming part of the universal web. You might even find it in the rain, Smiling down with rainbow rays.   PAUSE… So choose a direction in your mind, A path you'd like to follow. Set off in search of sunshine, Seek out its healing glow.   PAUSE… Picture a sunny highway, Surrounded by farmers' fields. Grip the wheel and enjoy the view, As you accept nature's invitation.   LONG PAUSE… As you drive, you long for music, So you turn on the radio. You sing along to your favorite songs, Belting them out louder as you go.   PAUSE… It's like a celebration, A mobile party just for you. You sway your body as you steer, Your heart soaring as you do.   PAUSE… The warmth of the sun on your shoulders, Only adds to your growing pleasure. It's as if the light is blessing your trip, Adding joy too great to measure. PAUSE… The farther you go, the warmer you feel, The gentle heat sinks right into your soul. Craving more, you hit the gas, Eager to explore the open road.   PAUSE… Perhaps you see animals grazing, Cows and sheep and goats. They're soaking up sun like you are, Content to feed on gentle slopes.   PAUSE… Beyond the animals are houses, Tall, welcoming structures in the distance. The sun shines down on their sturdy roofs, Giving its approval to their existence.   PAUSE… Children play in every yard, Their cheerful laughter fills the air. You find yourself grinning along with them, Remembering the joy of life without cares. PAUSE… For a moment, you feel like a kid again, Like every worry has been erased. You're filled with the hope that sunshine brings, With every bit of darkness replaced.   LONG PAUSE… As you stay the course and keep driving, The landscape changes a bit. The meadows and fields become rolling hills, Small peaks on which the sun can sit.   PAUSE… You have to pull out your sunglasses, As the picture before you starts to glow. You focus on the highway ahead, Eager to see how far you can go.   PAUSE… You start to wonder what waits ahead, If there's even more light to be found. With the sun as your guide and hope in your heart, The possibilities are profound. PAUSE… The music grows mellow and soothing, Like the sunshine wants you to linger. You slow your pace and take in the vista, Whispering thanks for our brilliant light-bringer. PAUSE… We're here to make a difference. We're here to treasure our gifts. We're here to help and learn and grow, To repair our meaningless rifts.   PAUSE… It's hard to feel hopeless in the sunshine. Apprehensions tend to shrivel in the light. Shade can be a relief, but not an escape, And truth is clearer when the view is bright. PAUSE… So drive as long as you need to, Find the vision that lights up your spirit. Softening and calming, From the top of your head, Down into your face, Your neck,  Your shoulders, Arms, Chest, Belly, Back,  Hips, Legs, And feet.  Softening,  And relaxing, As you sink further into comfort. LONG PAUSE… See if you can locate the emotions, Swirling,  Or anchoring, Or floating inside.  PAUSE… It doesn't matter why they're here, Or what stories they tell. Just identify them, Isolating them, And holding them in place.  LONG PAUSE… Now see if you can imagine, Your arms wrapping around these emotions, Embracing each jagged edge, Each soggy tear, Each bursting star. PAUSE… You show them love,  Honoring each of them, Silently grateful for each one.  PAUSE… Now every time you exhale,  Imagine your embrace loosening,  And all of your emotions floating free. Slowly,  Hovering around you,  Slowly drifting away.  LONG PAUSE… Each exhale pushes them further away from you, Inch by inch, Mile by mile,  Galaxy by galaxy.  PAUSE… Breathe them out, Breathe them away, Let the emotions dissolve, They can no longer stay.  LONG PAUSE… Feel the liberation and expansion.  You are not defined by your emotions, You are the witness of your emotions.  You are the calm presence that remains unchanged amidst the ebb and flow of emotions. You are already free.  LONG PAUSE… How does this feel to you?  Does resistance arise?  Logic?  A space for possibility?  PAUSE… What if financial freedom really was born in your mind, And not your wallet?  LONG PAUSE… Relax your body a little more,  And clear your mind with each breath.  And open space within you, In your mind, Your body, Your soul, For the seed of financial freedom to be planted.  PAUSE… Feel the freedom of safety. LONG PAUSE… My mind wants to scream,  That no one really gets,  The mountains I carry around.  My heart wants to cry, And give it all up, Walk away without a sound.  PAUSE… But instead, here I am, Trying to find peace, Believing the chaos will fade. I have to be willing, To sit in the fire, Without feeling dismayed.  PAUSE… So breathe with me now,  Slower and slower,  Let your breath calm you down.  Feel your mind ease,  From all of that stress, Feel yourself melt in the ground.  LONG PAUSE… Layer after layer, Slowly peels away, Releasing the mountains of pain.  Layer after layer, Slowly reveals,  The vulnerable me that remains.  PAUSE… Right here in this space, Naked and raw, I see what I need the most. And just then I feel, The arms of the Divine, Hug me like a beautiful ghost.  LONG PAUSE… She whispers her words, So I can feel loved, There's comfort that she's here to bring.  When you're falling apart,  I'm right here with you, I'll gather up everything.  PAUSE… I let myself cry,  I let myself go, I release it all out with each tear. The more that I free, Everything inside,  The more I feel light and clear.  LONG PAUSE… So breathe with me now,  Slower and slower,  Let healing cover you whole.  Feel your mind clear,  And dissolve what is left, The Universe is protecting your soul.  Namaste, Beautiful

Diamonds are sparkling on every blue wave in front of you, Thousands of glimmery reflections of the sun dancing with the movement.  The welcoming green of land surrounds you to your right, And makes you feel a little more safe. PAUSE... But you're still here, Alone on your boat, Navigating brand new waters. And you feel the anxiety rise. PAUSE... All of the unknowns, All of the fears, All of the what if's. They all hide under the surface of the ocean in front of you, And deep inside the core of you. PAUSE… It's okay that they're here. It's okay that you're feeling them. They're part of the landscape, Part of the journey. So rest deeper into it all,  And allow yourself to be here with all of it, Nodding softly to the anxiety,  Recognizing it, Naming it, And honoring its presence here, Accepting the part it plays in the whole story. PAUSE… Now breathe, sweet one, And bring yourself closer, Deeper into yourself and the truth of your soul. The truth that knows that you are meant to steer this ship, That you are worthy of all this newness has to offer, And that there is nothing that could possibly arise from the depths of the ocean, That could ever defeat you. Prepare yourself to go within, Make renewal your goal. PAUSE… Think about the way you speak to yourself, The language you hear in your head. The words are likely different than those you select, When talking to others instead. PAUSE… In life, we talk about love languages, Meaning the way others' gestures impact us. But in a very real way, the words we use, Create a pattern to which we adjust. PAUSE… If you tend to speak kindly, both inside and out, Then your love language is already in place. But if you're snappish and dismissive, to yourself if not others, Then it's time for a change of pace. PAUSE… Think of the words you use most of all, Then think about how they make you feel. Though a harsh word here or there can be harmless, A pattern makes the pain real. PAUSE… It's no secret we're usually hard on ourselves, And there are times to be held to account. Tough mental love isn't the answer though, Especially in generous amounts. PAUSE… Imagine having a secret code, A list of words that buoy your spirit. Using them often might change everything, Making your self-love transparent. PAUSE… Maybe it helps to be reassured that you're safe. Or that your intentions matter most of all. Perhaps you need to hear that your dreams have value, And you're worth loving just as you are. PAUSE… Whatever the message, if it makes you okay, Practice saying what you need to hear. The world may agree, or the world may not, But it doesn't matter if your own belief is sincere.   Take a deep breath and make yourself a promise, vow to be an encouraging voice. Release that breath and feel the weight of that gift, the gift of compassionate choice. LONG PAUSE… Words are not just pebbles to toss around. They're not just vague placeholders. The way you speak to yourself matters a lot, Turning small stones into great boulders. PAUSE… By contrast, if you begin to cast sunshine, Instead of repeatedly throwing shade, The light you shine on a wounded soul, Can make that grave pain fade. PAUSE… Once you've mastered being kind to yourself, You can change things for others as well. The words you send out into the world, Can bring the troubled out of their shell. PAUSE… Just as your own self-talk makes you feel seen, Like your presence is both required and enjoyed, The gentle and caring things you say, Can pull others back from the void. PAUSE… Though we often hear mixed messages, Hear that love is what you do, not what you say, If you align those goals and speak tenderly, Your words make everything okay.   Namaste, Beautiful

PAUSE Draw a deep breath, and breathe into the clock. Breathe into it  until you see, The hands of the clock gently letting go, and sailing away. PAUSE Now, visualize yourself removing the clock from the wall,  Setting in a box, and closing the lid. PAUSE After you close the box, Feel yourself growing strong and taking charge. PAUSE Visualize yourself deciding when and how each thing on your to-do list will happen. So let yourself slither around in your bed until you find the sleeping position you love the most. Take a deep breath in when you find it, And then exhale and settle even deeper into your bed. Be here. With the stillness of the night. And allow its cool, calm silence to isolate those thoughts racing through your mind.  Those worries, Anxieties,  Stresses, Fears.  They are the ones in rigorous motion against the backdrop of the stillness. PAUSE… Thoughts. Stories. Emotions. That's all they are.  They are not you. What's true is this moment.   This breath. You. Here on your bed.  Alive. Breathing.   So allow yourself to separate them from you, All these worries. Inviting them to exit the rapid movement inside your head, And enter the stillness of the night.  This moment of presence, Where the worries cannot exist.  Watch them dissolve in the space around you, The tiny grains of sand spilling from them until nothing is left.  Release the worries into the peaceful presence of the night. LONG PAUSE... Feel the deep relaxation of your body as the worries dissolve. It melts into the arms of the night, Releasing its need to control, Or be ready, Or fight. That's when I need to be still.  PAUSE… So I take a deep breath, And fight the loud voice, That says I have too much to do.  You don't have time, To go in your cave, But deep down I know that's not true.  PAUSE… So I ask for some help, From others who'll hold, My responsibilities for just a bit.  I free myself up, And shut down the screens, And eventually, I finally sit.  LONG PAUSE… In my cave I hear, The echoes of screams, That want me to do what they say. But each breath I take, Quiets them down, And soon, they've drifted away.  PAUSE… Slowing, slowing, slowing down, Each breath fills me more.  Calming, calming, calming down, I can feel my soul restore.  LONG PAUSE… Here in my cave, The pace of my life, Slows till it comes to a halt. It's then that I see, That the racing is fake, This stress is all in our thoughts. PAUSE… So stillness I seek, Through breath I sink in, And let go of all that is here. Though your mind is doing its best to help, There's a time when your thoughts must scatter.   PAUSE… Night time is that sacred time, A chance to pause and rest. We all need a break from the give and take, A block of hours away from the stress.   PAUSE… Even when we love our lives, The to-do list can be a tsunami. An overpowering cascade of tasks, That batters both mind and body.   PAUSE… What's more, we have expectations, Strict requirements for perfect completion. Little do we know, we're chasing a myth, Harming ourselves for no reason.   PAUSE… Perfection is a room with no door, A cold, unreachable place. We spend years of our lives seeking it out, To then be humbled when our efforts go to waste.   PAUSE… Nothing in life can be perfect, When each eye has its own view. There is no ideal to suit every mind, And no perception that's truly true.   PAUSE… We end up driving ourselves crazy, As we chase what we think others want. But just like us, they're racing in circles, Paying no mind to what we are or are not. PAUSE… Things feel so life-or-death sometimes, Like the world will stop if we fail. But failure is as unmeasurable as everything else, So it's useless to allow fear to prevail.   PAUSE… Instead, we need to change our view, To decide on our own kind of perfection. It needn't make sense to anyone else, A bit like looking at your own reflection.   Breathe in and see yourself as only you can, your strengths, your quirks, your magic. Breathe out and set that essence free, let the world know who you really are.   LONG PAUSE… What might you do if you wouldn't be judged, If no one waited to rate your performance? Would you find a new passion or take a new risk, Or perhaps reassess your importance?   PAUSE… The truth is, you can do those things. You can chart a new path right this minute. For the eyes you feel upon you all the time, Only exist when the mind overruns your spirit. PAUSE… Freedom is the antidote to perfection, The path to your own ideal world. You can create your own utopia, When you let your anxieties unfurl.   PAUSE… Though it's hard to know where they come from, These fears show up in us all. We want to fit in, to feel worthy and admired, But instead end up scared and small.   PAUSE… It seems so counterintuitive, To go against the grain, To throw out years of effort and worry, In an attempt to relieve the pain.   PAUSE… But that's exactly what it takes, To find your own perfection. Adjust the bar to fit you best, And set out in your own direction. PAUSE… Your life is indeed a marathon, But in truth, there's just one runner. You're forever poised to take the prize, When you're racing to steal your own thunder. PAUSE… You are your only competition. You're also your very best fan. You have nothing to prove to anyone but you, And you're the only one in charge of the plan.   Inhale and think about what it means to be the person in charge of you. Exhale and know you're up to the task, that you can make your dreams come true. LONG PAUSE… Things can be different from here on out, Old patterns can be changed. You just have to agree to stop the chase, To let expectations be rearranged.   PAUSE… Imagine how liberating it will feel, To step out of judgement's way. You can corral them with reason. You can keep them at bay, With the movement of the day. PAUSE… But when the night comes,  When you've slowed yourself down, The seeds of fear, Grow in your mind, And in your body. PAUSE… Fear arises within your belly, Slowly at first. Little bubbles of discomfort. But as it takes over your mind, Boulders of fear lay upon your chest, Freezing you, And weighing you down.  LONG PAUSE… Bring your hand to your chest, sweet one, And touch the fear that's here. PAUSE… Let the warmth from your hand, Move through the rock, And pass through it easily, Knowing what's beneath.  PAUSE… Your hand can feel the vibrations, Of what's underneath the fear.  PAUSE… The determination arises, As your chest expands to breathe.   PAUSE… You can feel the stability, Of your reliable heartbeat.  PAUSE… You can feel the promise, Of each new breath.   PAUSE… Fear can be here, It doesn't have to take over. It doesn't have to blind. It doesn't have to stay. PAUSE… You are stronger than your fears. LONG PAUSE… Breathe deeply now,  Inviting the fresh air to come inside,  And clear what's here. And as you breathe out,  Feel your body soften and relax. Another deep breath in, Even bigger than before, Gathering up the heaviness, The thoughts, And then releasing it,  Melting yourself even further.  PAUSE… Slow your breathing into a gentle rhythm, Coming in deep into your body. PAUSE… Letting the waves of air calm you, Relax you. LONG PAUSE… It may be tempting to look away, And avoid the boulders of fear. PAUSE… It may be tempting to succumb to them,  Handing them to your mind, And unleashing their demons,  PAUSE… But if you slow down, And take an honest look at what's here, If you can ask fear what it wants.  The heaviness begins to dissolve, And the boulders begin to crumble.  LONG PAUSE… Listen for the voice, That tells you it's fine. Swaddle yourself as best you can, And let the night's comfort begin. PAUSE… When was the last time you felt secure, Completely safe, warm, and content? It's odd that we think we outgrow those things, That we no longer need what they represent. PAUSE… At our core, we'll always be children, No matter what age we reach. Even if we become parents as well, We continue to learn what we teach. PAUSE… The lessons don't always come equally, And some you might never learn at all. But others affect your very survival, Protecting you from a fall. PAUSE… First, you deserve to know you're loved, To know you're worth the effort. And even if you're the one caring for you, It's okay to tend to what hurts. PAUSE… It's also okay to speak your mind, To get your struggles off your chest. To sleep a calm and restful sleep, Unencumbered by life's distress. PAUSE… You deserve to feel like you matter. You deserve the chance to thrive. You deserve to know anything's possible, And you deserve to keep hope alive. PAUSE… Perhaps you have someone to tell you these things, A partner, a sibling, a friend. But even if your life has vacancies, You have a life-force on which to depend.  PAUSE… If you let it, your spirit will care for you, Reminding you what you once knew. Your essence is there to guide you back home, And to point out what will always be true. PAUSE… Your spirit is what keeps you safe, Planting signs along the way. It becomes your lifelong nurturer, If you listen to what it has to say.   Take a breath and hear that voice, the quiet truth within. Practice conjuring it up, every night, Pull that safe feeling back into your present. PAUSE… Think about other special acts, Rituals of younger days. The perfect pjs, a favorite story, Little jokes and loving displays. PAUSE… Picture the grown-up version of these, Both playful acts and those of self-care. Imagine each evening unfolding that way, Loving habits your young self can share. PAUSE… It's not silly to want to end the day well, Not childish or selfish or strange. Learning to tuck yourself in for the night, Can only reflect positive change. PAUSE… Perhaps you'll start to sleep like a baby. Maybe you'll wake up with a smile. Maybe you'll start to look forward to bedtime, To the chance to unplug for a while. PAUSE… By now, you know what a challenge it is, To live life as a full-fledged adult. Maybe the reason we all struggle so much, Is our refusal to admit we need help. PAUSE… You might not need the predictable type, More like a boost for the soul. And if childhood routines can help you find joy, Then they certainly have their role. PAUSE… Let your mind wander through your past, Allow it to slip back in time. So much energy is spent,  Trying to calm their wild ride. PAUSE… I beat myself up for not doing,  The tasks that need to get done. But all my time is spent,  Holding back the desire to run. PAUSE… One minute I'm angry, The next I'm in tears. The tough love voice yells loud, Its truth rings loud in my ears. PAUSE… I crumble into bed, Exhausted from the fight. Feeling a little crazy, Knowing I'm not quite right.  PAUSE… It's here at the lowest,  When the whisper softly sings. It'll all be okay, sweet one, We all struggle with these things. PAUSE… Breathe into yourself, she says, And remember who you are. These toxic mental demons, Will drag you way out far.  PAUSE… But see if you can find,  The space between your breaths. See if you can feel,  Where stillness comes to rest.  I breathe in deep and focus, On the air that fills me up. I breathe out fully and notice, Thoughts empty from this cup.  PAUSE… Breathe in and let it clear. Breathe out all the fear. Breathe in and slow it down. Breathe out thoughts that buzz around.  LONG PAUSE… I calm down some,  Enough to see, The voice inside, That was whispering. Is my own soul, Who deeply knows, That I am fine, And I am whole. PAUSE… All this noise, That feels so real, This mental fighting, I try to conceal, Will lose its power, When I share, Will evaporate,  Should I dare.  LONG PAUSE… All we have is now, So focus on what's here. Come into the quiet, And see if you can hear. PAUSE… The whispers of your soul, Pulling you out of your head.  Feel yourself calm down now, There's light up ahead. Sweet Dreams, Beautiful.

Softening and calming, From the top of your head, Down into your face, Your neck,  Your shoulders, Arms, Chest, Belly, Back,  Hips, Legs, And feet.  Softening,  And relaxing, As you sink further into comfort. LONG PAUSE… See if you can locate the emotions, Swirling,  Or anchoring, Or floating inside.  PAUSE… It doesn't matter why they're here, Or what stories they tell. Just identify them, Isolating them, And holding them in place.  LONG PAUSE… Now see if you can imagine, Your arms wrapping around these emotions, Embracing each jagged edge, Each soggy tear, Each bursting star. PAUSE… You show them love,  Honoring each of them, Silently grateful for each one.  PAUSE… Now every time you exhale,  Imagine your embrace loosening,  And all of your emotions floating free. Slowly,  Hovering around you,  Slowly drifting away.  LONG PAUSE… Each exhale pushes them further away from you, Inch by inch, Mile by mile,  Galaxy by galaxy.  PAUSE… Breathe them out, Breathe them away, Let the emotions dissolve, They can no longer stay.  LONG PAUSE… Feel the liberation and expansion.  You are not defined by your emotions, You are the witness of your emotions.  You are the calm presence that remains unchanged amidst the ebb and flow of emotions. Feel yourself soften and open to its presence.  PAUSE… Each raindrop enters you, Repairing what has been broken, Restoring what has been disturbed.  PAUSE… Feel yourself relax, Opening even further to the hum of the healing raindrops.  LONG PAUSE… Now imagine this gentle cloud expanding, Covering your entire body. PAUSE… Its warmth soothes you, And its waters soften you. PAUSE… Each raindrop falls upon you, Absorbed into your skin, And searches for the dark, Seeks out the pain. PAUSE… No memory can hide. No part of you is invisible.  PAUSE… You soften and open even more, You melt even deeper, As the healing raindrops flood you with love.  LONG PAUSE… Sweet Dreams, Beautiful.

So let yourself slither around in your bed until you find the sleeping position you love the most. Take a deep breath in when you find it, And then exhale and settle even deeper into your bed. Be here. With the stillness of the night. And allow its cool, calm silence to isolate those thoughts racing through your mind.  Those worries, Anxieties,  Stresses, Fears.  They are the ones in rigorous motion against the backdrop of the stillness. PAUSE… Thoughts. Stories. Emotions. That's all they are.  They are not you. What's true is this moment.   This breath. You.  Here on your bed.  Alive.  Breathing.   So allow yourself to separate them from you, All these worries. Inviting them to exit the rapid movement inside your head, And enter the stillness of the night.  This moment of presence, Where the worries cannot exist.  Watch them dissolve in the space around you, The tiny grains of sand spilling from them until nothing is left.  Release the worries into the peaceful presence of the night. LONG PAUSE... Feel the deep relaxation of your body as the worries dissolve. It melts into the arms of the night, Releasing its need to control, Or be ready, Or fight. And instead softens, Trusts, And surrenders. Relax and release. PAUSE… It's time to sleep. So breathe… In and out, And fall into the depths of the night. Sweet Dreams, Beautiful

Close your eyes and try to see, What could happen if you rearranged it. PAUSE… It's so incredibly easy, To walk the same footsteps day to day. To follow the path we've followed before, Because things are simpler that way. PAUSE… But is simple what you really want? Does ease set your soul on fire? Or might you wish for something more, If given the chance to aim much higher? PAUSE… Is there an idea tucked down deep in your soul, A picture of what could happen. If you let yourself step way out of your box, And lived what you imagine? PAUSE…   Where did that idea come from? Where you young and hopeful and brave? Did it spring to life before you knew How to just give in and behave?  LONG PAUSE… Take a breath and see yourself, so innocent and sweet. Release the breath and remind yourself the quest is incomplete. PAUSE… You wanted something way back when, And it seemed so right for you. Why should that desire have to disappear, Because the world demands its due? PAUSE… There must be a way to be who you must, While also living as you please. There must be a way to listen to your heart, While also serving life's needs. PAUSE… If you're looking to shift your perspective, To see things in a completely new way, The change can start with a single step, And the change can start today. PAUSE… Think about your usual window, The one you look out the most. What sort of view would you rather have? Should it be mountain, desert, or coast? LONG PAUSE… Inhale as you picture a magical scene, one that makes you glow inside. Exhale and promise to take yourself there, to be your own tour guide. PAUSE… Or maybe the change isn't a place. Maybe it's a calling instead. Perhaps you need to find your purpose, A goal to serve both heart and head. PAUSE… When our lives don't line up with our dreams, When we feel forced to choose, The choice can break us right in half, And leave us feeling abused. PAUSE… Instead we need to find the point, Where all our needs align. We need to find the authentic path, A life of our own design. PAUSE… So dig into your yearnings, Find the wisdom of your spirit. Learn what the universe has been planning for you, Let yourself finally hear it. LONG PAUSE… Breathe in and imagine that very first step, the one that starts the journey. How long has been since you sat with yourself, With no one else around? PAUSE… Take a deep breath and close your eyes, As we seek that quiet once again. It's time to see what's changed within, Since the last time you checked in. PAUSE… There's so much energy around us, From people and their devices and machines. And though we need these things a lot of the time, They're not necessary as much as we think. PAUSE… Once we let these distractions into our lives, It gets harder and harder to say no. And once we stop making space for the quiet, We forget that we need it at all. PAUSE…   It's so easy to get caught up in the hum of it all, To go with society's flow. But when we start to crave that hum over other things, It's a sign we might need to let go. LONG PAUSE… Inhale and pull peace deep into your body, hear only the sound of your breath. Exhale and assess how much calmer you feel, as the peace flows from cell to cell. PAUSE… The answers we seek from those around us, Can be both helpful and not. But the answers we seek from our spirit Are always on the mark. PAUSE… There's certainly value in connection. No one wants to figure out life all alone. There's another sort of connection, though, And it's older and wiser than most. PAUSE… This connection doesn't need wi-fi. It runs without battery or plug. It only requires your commitment, And a willingness to both listen and hear. PAUSE… And unlike so many other platforms, That tend to steal away pieces of you. Your silent connection to spirit Returns what's lost as it pays dividends. LONG PAUSE… Take a deeper breath this time, sink deeper into the quiet. Send your distractions away as you exhale, leaving your mind clear and ready. PAUSE… Ideally, we're looking for balance, A way to thrive inside and out. But until you know how much is too much, It's too hard to make the call. PAUSE… So take a little away from the world, A peaceful respite now and then. Pay attention as the feelings and thoughts bubble up, And look for the messages they hold. PAUSE… If you struggle to find their meaning, Sit with your questions for a while. Use the clear, quiet space to sort it all out, And lean into what makes it okay. PAUSE… Trust what your inner voice tells you, Now that you've given her a chance. The thing that matters most? The thing that makes your life worthwhile, And encompasses all of your hopes? PAUSE… It's different for each one of us, Whether a concrete or intangible thing. It's the essence of what we hold sacred, The reason our hearts can sing. PAUSE… For some of us, it's our children, Those precious, angelic gifts. For others, it's our parents, The souls who allowed us to exist. PAUSE… Others live to love their pets, The animals who brighten their lives. And many more live for their art, Their creations helping humanity to survive. PAUSE…   So what is the thing that lights you up,  That makes your existence worthwhile? What eases your load and keeps you striving, No matter how challenging the trial? LONG PAUSE… Take a breath and picture it, the gem in your heart's crown. Release the breath with gratitude, giving thanks for what you've found. PAUSE… Think about the peace this gift gives you, The joy and satisfaction. Think about what it adds to your days, The way it guides the laws of attraction. PAUSE… We would likely do anything, To hold on to this gift. To keep it safe and well and strong, To protect and watch over it. PAUSE… What does it do to your body, When you give it your full focus? Does it warm your heart, or stir your mind, Or just give you something to trust? PAUSE… The things that make us joyful, Also give us strength. They remind us what to hold onto, And what to keep at length. LONG PAUSE… Inhale and pull the power of love inside. Exhale and vow to share the best you can provide. PAUSE… Whatever you choose to give the world, And whatever it gives you in return, The impact grows in both directions, Because of the love lessons you learn. PAUSE… So your vision is important,  The treasures you see have meaning. And the sights you end up holding most dear, Are proof the universe is intervening. PAUSE… It points us to our greatest good, To what we're meant to give. It rewards us when we zero in, And find purpose as we live. PAUSE… Acknowledge your blessings, dear one. Feel them with you at every step. Build your world around what you love, And know there's always more you can accept. LONG PAUSE… Breathe in and pull your priorities close, the gifts that shape your life. Release that breath on a wave of love, and prepare for more gifts to arrive.   Namaste, Beautiful
