Part 1 5.55- A 14 year old girl was stabbed and killed on Graham Avenue downtown, in broad daylight last Friday. Police are looking for a group involved in the 40th homicide of 2023. In our Crime and Courts reports, we have continually raised the alarm about downtown safety, including in June: Violent Marauding Teens- And Pre-Teens - Sowing Fear Across Winnipeg We covered the last murder of a teen on Graham Avenue: “What the hell is wrong with this city?” Swarmings & stabbings & try taking a bus We've spoken about the ripple effect of rampant violence on the community. Hear how Friday's killing shocked a women who uses the Graham corridor to get to work in St. Boniface- and was already distraught about how dangerous St. B and all of Winnipeg has become. 13.30 - An update on the status of the suspects in the murder in St. James. One was arrested and seems to be a rapper; but unreported in MSM, the other suspect has warrants for a raft of charges even before the killing of Lawrence Evan Pruden aka "Rich Porter". Shootings and stabbings and the Corydon carjacking are why people are scared to simply walk to their cars in a lot of neighborhoods, let along go shopping. Get all our columns and podcasts at ActionLine.ca 22:00 Part 2 - Marty Gold tells of being recognized in The Hockey News. He was interviewed for a retrospective about Winnipeg trucking owner George Smith, who thumbed his nose at Alan Eagleson and became a hockey folk hero. 27.50 - Public Safety Update: A Focus on Antisemitism The harassment tactics of Jew-haters gets established in other countries before migrating to Canada. Hear how in the US, there were 199 incidents of bomb threats and swatting incidents. "Your government watered these seeds." - We bring details of the disruption of Christmas shopping and visits with Santa in 3 Toronto malls by the intimidation tactics of low-lifes who among other lies, claim "Jesus was a Palestinian." What will Mayor Gillingham and Police Chief Smyth do when it happens here? - Think we're safe? Four terrorists were arrested in Calgary, 3 underage. Then, listen to the story of an arrest of a teen in Ottawa, and how the mystified Iraqi father may have lied to Global News and have actually had a role in the radicalization of his kid. We draw comparisons to the un-investigated Jew-hating behavior of University of Winnipeg Collegiate athletes. - Justin Trudeau and Wab Kinew thinks refugees from Gaza should be welcomed into Canada and Manitoba. The problem? 80% support Hamas. That's why no Arab country takes them in. - Will the Liberal/NDP refugee program weed out antisemites and Christian-hating Islamists? Of course not. They won't act against the Islamists already here- still no arrests in the 'Hitler is coming video' proves that. Then - We have more on the menorah removal at City Hall. 43:48 - The Jewish Federation of Winnipeg is under fire for going along with Mayor Gillingham's explanation of why the recognition of Chanukah was interrupted. Donors like Sandy Shindleman have questions. Hear the letter sent to the Federation assailing their 'shtetl' mentality and weak leadership. MSM doesn't explain the organization only represents their 1300 donors, and not our 14,000 Jewish residents. We've asked their honcho for an interview. This column in the Western Standard, asked "who's running the city? Cowards?" after the leader of the Israeli community was manhandled over a parking infraction. We learned who the rogue cop is. Episode 22 opens with a brief look towards important civic issues TGCTS will be diving into over the next few weeks, including resuming our interview series with Andrew Marquess of Gem Equities. Also, we'll be discussing potential impacts on the quality of life for residents of established neighborhoods if density-enabling changes to zoning and building regulations demanded by Mayor Gillingham are passed. There will also be continuing coverage on ActionLine.ca about ongoing incidents targeting the Winnipeg Jewish community. We provide the kind of investigations and analysis that MSM won't. A CFIB survey says over 50% of Manitoba businesses have been affected. Marty reviews a story about the costs of public disorder incurred by Vernaus Autobody in South Point Douglas, an area we've covered extensively. Meanwhile, near the St. Boniface Hospital, frustration with 'petty crime' led to warning posters about one late night perp. Area Councilor Matt Allard maintains his silence. Violence and arson don't affect the Goulet bike lanes, so he won't speak up. 21:03 Crime Part 2 Shootings became almost a nightly occurrence. - A north end home invasion where a Bannerman homeowner was almost killed - A Halloween night murder in North Point Douglas (not a shooting) with 2 women now charged. We have some background on one of the 20 year olds accused. - A woman wounded on Garry St. downtown near police HQ 29.00 Hear about the trail of evidence markers leading to Portage Avenue in St. James, and the colourful social media trail about the deceased that hints at how 27 year old Lawrence Pruden, also known as Rich Porter, met a violent end. His vehicle was peppered with bullets. It looks like he was driving and fired at from the roadway, so technically not a drive-by, but still looks gang-related. 33.40 - A family in River Heights needs your help after a fire destroyed their home. The details include how Garrett, the eldest son of Brett and Lyndsay Zoratti is now in a medically-induced coma as doctors try to save his life after he rushed back into the burning house to rescue his younger brother Emmett. “Rich lied to me about something there was no reason to lie about," said Martinez at the time. "I gave him the opportunity to tell me the truth not once, but twice. He didn't die so I shot him in the head. It wasn't personal. It was business." The interview adds that an accomplice shot Rich originally, but he didn't die. Martinez then stepped in to finish off the deed. The two then dumped Porter's body on City Island, according to the interview. On October 31, 2021, Alpo Martinez was shot and killed in Harlem. Porter's family took to the streets to celebrate Martinez's death, according to New York Daily News. “We waited for a long time for this day to come and we are happy," Porter's niece, Lorell, told the publication. “That's why we're out here celebrating drinking champagne. TopicTuesday episode II | The Legacy of Alpo Martinez Albert “Alpo” Martinez was born June 8, 1966 in east Harlem aka Spanish Harlem. Alpo grew his fame and infamy during the height of the 1980's cocaine trade in Harlem NY with others such as AZ & Rich Porter. Alpo was known for his flash along with his partner in crime Rich Porter, the legend has it they had a total of 30 foreign cars between the two and they weren't even able to legally drink yet, what a time to be alive in New York. Alpo's story turns for the violence when Rich Porter is found dead early in 1990 and Alpo is rumored to have been involved in it. From that point on Alpo's illegal drug operations shifted its focus to trafficking cocaine in D.C and this is when the Alpo story starts to get very bloody. In 1991 Alpo is indicted for multiple charges included in those Chargers were 14 counts of murder, listed in those 14 names were names that Alpo was known to be close friends and business partners with such as “Big Head” Gary and Andre. Alpo was facing a certain death sentence and decided to cooperate with the federal government rather than stand tall on what he did and accept the consequences of his actions. Alpo's decision to cooperate with the federal government against his number one hit man, the infamous Wayne Perry, was viewed as one of the most disloyal acts ever sending Wayne Perry away for life in his place. I believe Alpo was officially released from prison under witness protection and was living a quiet life for the most part but that changed over the past few years with Alpo being spotted more and Alpo even conducting interviews. On October 31, 2021 Alpo Martinez was gunned down in Harlem, NY. Alpo Martinez is the poster boy for the streets, the streets don't love you, the streets don't respect you, and when the streets done with you it doesn't matter who you are, you're expiration date is up. #TopicTuesday #EpisodeII #Legacy #Legend #AlpoMartinez #AKARico #Harlem #NewYork #RichPorter #WaynePerry #BigHeadGary #Halloween #PoeticJustice #Listen #Subscribe #Share #Philly #MizzyWorldEnt

Jay-z once said ant no love in the heart of the city. And as I sit back and look, that's actually what's going on in the hood. Our people killing each other over jealousy and envy. For what is the question? Our people must understand that we can't afford to look fly like kings amongst peasants. Our people are going through ruff times and the last thing people want to see is their own winning and getting to the bag. The hate usually be closer to you than we think. I'll give you the greatest example, look at Rich Porter and Alpo. Alpo killed Rich, went to the funeral smiled in the mother's face and gave his condolences. We can try our best in showing love to the people and do everything right but there will be someone hating because it's you and not them. Sometimes it be the one you give a dap to that want to put the Mac to you. Wake up and remember pay attention to those around you because it be them that wanna merk you. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/repent-or-die-podcast/message

The crew touched some things that happened this week that may touch you in a good way and in a bad way. This epidemic that we are dealing with is bringing out the most that has changed all of us moving forward. Dipset rapper Cam' ron has revealed that he is currently in talks to bring a Paid In Full 2 to fruition -- almost two decades after the release of the original movie. The movie takes place in Harlem in the 1980s and is based on three friends Azie "AZ" Faison, Rich Porter, and Alpo Martinez and their professional criminal exploits. This could be something good but I don't know what they would do exactly? Don’t do it! Evander Holyfield recently appeared on TMZ and was asked about the potential for some kind of exhibition match against Mike Tyson. Just the thought of that happening brings a nervous chill up our spine. Even in a 3-round “exhibition” Evander might f**k around and die messing with Mike. What do you think? You wanna see this fight happen? Erykah Badu and Jill Scott finally had their highly-anticipated Verzuz battle (May 9), but it was all love. The living legends spent the time chatting it up like old girlfriends while playing some of their greatest songs. We all won with this one! Louisiana rapper Boosie may soon be in trouble with the law. While talking to fans on social media, the popular rapper admitted to having an adult woman perform oral relations on his 12 year old son. Boosie told fans, "I'm training those boys, ask my nephews or any of my sons. When they were 12-13, they got h*ad." The rapper then explained how he got a grown woman to perform oral acts on the children. He added, "Hell yeah I got my f**king son's d**k sucked." Under Louisiana law, a person can be guilty of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile if they promote “sexual intercourse with consent” between and a child between the ages of 13 and 16. The punishment for felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile can be a fine of up to $5,000, a prison term of up to 10 years, or both. Oh...no!! Lastly, R&B lost three legends this weekend in Little Richard, Andre Harrell and Betty Wright - Rest in Power. For the "HOT TAKE" topic this week, we got heated when the question came up on 'why quarantine may break up a new couples and/or relationships?' Let us know what's up...

Enjoy this riveting and concise journey through the life of F.E.D.S. founder and owner Antoine Clark. Antoine held nothing as he shares of growing up in a single parent home where mom played the role of dad, best friend and a strong disciplinarian. Babysitting his brother, Antoine passionately embraced his big brother role and took his brother wherever he went and do whatever he did. A very focused and driven young man, Antoine was never distracted by the drug infested surroundings he grew up in. Women were his distraction, this led him to becoming a dad while in high school and welcomed the birth of his daughter. Antoine speaks eloquently of that time and the emotions felt by both him and his girlfriend as they both were still in high school and now parents. This experience transformed him into a man, as he did not want to neglect his role nor his daughter unlike his experience with his dad neglecting him. Unable to complete high school due to his responsibility, Antoine goes right to work to provide for his family. Inspired by Larry Flint, Antoine shares about the birth F.E.D.S. The name which came to him as he wrapped up a meeting in the village (NYC) at a restaurant called FEZ. F.E.D.S. magazine became the bible of the streets. Overcoming all the issues from publishing to distribution Antoine did it so he could tell the story of gangsters like Alpo, Rich Porter, Pistol Pete and Santra Rucker to name a few. Great content and connecting with the right people allowed Antoine Clark to tell the story of the street, not to glorify it but to deter others from making the same mistakes. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCN2YWGURe_tTvQLiUDcuDGA www.facebook.com/sqrpodcast www.sqrpodcast.com

Harlem, NY - 1984. Imagine a world without social media. No Facebook, Instagram or Youtube. A world were influencers do not come from the screens but from the streets. A world where trends and styles are built far away from the the 5th Avenue. Well, this world existed, in the 80's Harlem, where a young hustler emerged from the concrete to create esthetics that would define the style of Rap for the next decades. While Bronx, NY based The Legion technically only released the one album in 1994's 'Theme + Echo = Krill' (largely produced by Molecules himself), Hip-Hop connoisseurs will remember the break out singles & videos for "Jingle Jangle" and "Legion Groove" (not to mention Molecules appearance on Showbiz & AG's "Runaway Slave"). For what it set out to be, that LP is a masterpiece, an understated homage to The BX and pastiche to The World Famous DJ Brucie B's reign at The Rooftop hotspot (amid social scene where names like Alpo, Rich Porter and A.Z., held more clout than most of the era's rap stars. I've always considered myself a diehard fan of the group - listening to the album again in preparation reminded me of what a unique album it it (famously panned, if not misunderstood, at the time, by Cheo H. Coker (Luke Cage fame)) in The Source (2Pac Cover, Sept '94). When I caught word that producer Showbiz and The Legion's Molecules had recorded a forthcoming joint project together I immediately reached out to the guys from the Bronx-bred hip-hop trio to line up a convo with the Big Man 'Cules himself. It had been a few years but Molecules and I connected again right off the bat and you can tell within this conversation. This was essentially 'Cules first time sitting down really talking at length about his life and career - and we cover a lot of ground, so I'm really happy to present this!
