A very special episode this week with not one, but two hugely talented and in-demand perfumers. I am joined by (friend of the show!) Julien Rasquinet along with Paul Guerlain. The two of them were at Harrods in London to discuss ‘Lustre', a fragrance they co-created for the house of Amouage. ‘Lustre' is one of a trio of fragrances that make up ‘The Essences' and each one is double-infused and aged for 6 months. The other two fragrances in the new collection are ‘Reasons' and ‘Outlands.' They have all been created using a high concentration of 30% perfume oil, along with many other technical and aesthetic innovations that we discuss during our conversation. We had chance to talk about ‘The Essences', the opportunity to work with the prestigious Amouage, how they approached working as two perfumers on one fragrance and also (for Paul) what it means to be part of the Guerlain family.Paul mentioned the following products in his routine:Abeille Royale Day Cream - Guerlainhttps://www.guerlain.com/uk/en-uk/p/abeille-royale-day-cream-P061500.htmlAbeille Royale Night Cream - Guerlain https://www.guerlain.com/uk/en-uk/p/abeille-royale-honey-treatment-night-cream-P061850.htmlJulien is a man of simple pleasures and uses bar soap and anti-dandruff shampoo! You can find Amouage on Instagram at:https://www.instagram.com/amouageofficial/?hl=enOnline at: https://amouage.com/en-uk/pages/the-amouage-essences‘The Essences' are available in the UK at Harrods:https://www.harrods.com/en-gb/p/amouage-lustre-essence-de-parfum-100ml-000000000007713693Julien is on Instagram at:https://www.instagram.com/julienrasquinet/?hl=enPaul is on Instagram at:https://www.instagram.com/paulguerlain/?hl=en- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -You can ‘tip' me via the link below. We do our own deep dive into the upcoming models and releases, along with a roundup of the latest hobby project from the team. Finally, with the arrival of the refreshed Venators ruleset, we have an in-depth discussion about the wealth of different gangs now available to players, how almost infinite variety can affect an arbitrator building a living setting, and what this might mean going forward for Guilders-Ford. Hosted on Acast. Amouage Chief Creative Officer Renaud Salmon joins me in the Perfume Room this week. When he took the post in 2019, his mission was clear: make Amouage the best, most iconic fragrance brand in the world. (You know, easy.) We discuss how he's endeavored to do just that; the rich fragrance culture in Oman; what daily life there looks like for him and his family; and the memories, people, and inspirations that fuel his creative vision. Plus, we dive into the brand new Essences collection and get an exclusive preview of some upcoming 2025 launches. And trust me, they are GOOD. Writing and directing for transmedia is an often overlooked part of world building in video games, but as consumers it is one of the most memorable elements of any game we play. Our host, David Taylor sat down with Neel Upadhye, a creative powerhouse who has left his mark on some of the most iconic franchises in gaming. From shaping the lore of Star Wars: The Old Republic and Battlefield 2042 to crafting Stories from the Outlands for Apex Legends, Neel's work has been viewed tens of millions of times, defining what it means to merge storytelling with gameplay. In this episode, we explore Neel's journey through the gaming industry, dive into his creative process, and what the future holds for transmedia storytelling. We'd also like to thank Lightspeed Venture Partners for making this episode possible! With its dedicated gaming practice, "Lightspeed Gaming," the firm is investing from over $7B in early- and growth-stage capital — the by far largest fund focused on gaming and interactive technology.
Transported to a walking tower, our heroes attempt the diplomatic option before understanding just how deadly the Outlands truly are. Come join us on Discord: https://discord.gg/ntaEjvc Consider supporting us on Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/IndoorAdventures Merch: indooradventure.redbubble.com

The Stage vs. The Class (social bandwidth). Praising good intellect and having an assertive teaching ethic. After that The Raunchettes shock the Woke Nation in an inverted field of diluted spectra. Wading in the Swamp of the Unknown. Acres of Uncontrolled Psychic Ant Territory. Dynamic Memory Neighborhoods. Inhabiting archetypal holism. Preserving exploration, celebrating interrogation. Jungle Badlang fence hopping during a foggy night. Pursuing mysteries in Forbidden Zones. Sustained Curiosity. Retrieving a fly from the Frog Man. Developing foresight. Providing evidence without resources. Defensive Experts (Bruno's BBQ). Making things from scratch. Controversial pluralisms and infinite ignorance. The velocity of "slowing down". The Poetry of the Bog. Familiar Oddities. The musical scales of Language. JDO goes off for the challenge with "Malibu Dick", a surfer revenge style noir with a cult that controls the weather, drag queens performing the rites of Osiris, and a hollow moon. Moving on to Accessing the Big River through explicit experimentation and learning to drive "offtrack". The Gradual vs. Sudden emergence of homosapians and identifying major structural binaries. Scrutinizing "The Random" and "Spontaneous". Single Image Focus vs. Chaotic Noise Ceremonies. A premonition about Jimmy Buffett, and JDO builds a time machine in his garage. Welcome to Guilders-Ford Radio, a Necromunda podcast broadcasting from the East Gate Docks of Hive Primus (via Guildford Games Club, Surrey, UK).It's a slow month for Necromunda in Guilders-Ford, but fear not, we've got a much requested deep dive into one of the main characters of our narrative - Gangrene - and a guest appearance from Guildford Games Club's Justin, who will be explaining how his run-of-the-mill gang leader grew to become our setting's primary antagonist. We've also got a particularly tasty Stack of WAAC this month, a 'Delaque Stack' focussing on the infamous Nacht Ghul. Finally, we have an in-depth discussion on the differences between and challenges involved in combining Narrative players and WAAC / Min Maxers into campaigns, how they 'play' together and what arbitrators can do to find a balance, as well as reflection on our own playstyles!Support the showHelp us make better content, and download free community resources!www.patreon.com/guildersfordradioAny comments, questions or corrections?
