Disco Season 4 FINALLY comes to a close, and Jack's wingmen Sam Stovold and Sean Davis are joined by Ferengi expert Kregg Castillo, who hasn't watched a single other episode of Season 4 to talk about Jonathan (aka Species 10-C)!  The boys dish on a surprisingly decent finale to an okay season of Discovery, but it's too little, too late.  Jack has cause to worry about his guest situation for Season 5.  They're talking the season as a whole, the banality of Discovery's poignant moments, looking back at REAL early Jaxilly, learning to embrace the meh, dissecting Stacy Abrams' appearance, and ranking Disco season finales! But most importantly, ORBS, ORBS, ORBS! On to Picard!  Surely that won't fail us.

Jack loads up Skype, and the enigmatic and inscrutable Sean and Sam emerge from the mist, flashing a complex series of lights and spraying him with hydrocarbons. Classic. Using math, and Chingy lyrics, Jack was able to translate these into audio signals and a podcast, and found out they were just talking about Species 10-C. There are orbs in that hyperfield!

Jack and Geoff are joined by Sam Stovold for a look at the 1998 Mighty Joe Young remake! And while this Disneyfied version of the story doesn't really hold a banana to its predecessor, it does boast some great practical ape effects and a charismatic cast. And that's more than enough for the Ape crew to chew on! Also in this ep: a climactic Ape host head-to-head Lost/The Wire character name-off battle!

"Anomaly" is the 54th episode of the American science fiction television series Star Trek: Enterprise, the second episode of the third season. The episode was written by co-producer Mike Sussman and directed by David Straiton, his fifth for the show.  Set in the 22nd century, the series follows the adventures of the first Starfleet starship Enterprise, registration NX-01. Season three of Enterprise features an ongoing story following an attack on Earth by previously unknown aliens called the Xindi. In this episode, the Enterprise is attacked by an Osaarian vessel, and in pursuit they discover that the aliens have information on the Xindi which they must retrieve to help them on their mission.

Disco Season 4 coverage finally begins, and in the best way possible!  With another round of the Jack stupidly lost his audio game. Fortunately, it's Sam to the rescue as he and Jack hop back in to record new audio to awkwardly mesh with Sean and Barm (and a certain hop-on)'s audio, making this episode simultaneously a discussion and a reaction, two months old and also a week old, nonsensical and yet penetrating. An overly complicated but fitfully intriguing mess; truly worthy of  the name Discovery! We're back!

SPIDER-MAN 2 brought boldface emotion, action, and humor straight from the comics to the cinema - and superhero films changed forever. Sam Stovold's love of this Spidey sequel will make you a true believer too!
