It's a historic day at Blocked Party, as we do a Stefan block on a main episode and Mark Little (comedian) sets the record for the fastest return by a guest, coming back only 8 episodes after Appearance #1. Why? Well, our scheduled guest came down with the stomach flu a few hours before recording. Then, John came down with a migraine. With John knowing he barely had an hour before his body gave in, we switched Mark from bonus episode duty to regular episode duty, and John ended up with his "flu game", leaving the pod several times throughout but returning just in time to do an Andrew Dice Clay impression and according to Mark, reveal a more "cool, chill" version of himself. Of course, with John out of the picture, Stefan immediately introduces Mark to Rule 34 and Dewayne, and tries to figure out how he managed to get blocked by the NORAD Santa Tracker. Elsewhere, Producer Dan wears a dress shirt, Stefan reveals he can't read, Elon makes a new and bizarre rule for Twitter, and we wax poetic about the World Cup and 90s reboots. If you want to be a part of more history, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every month, plus a truly insane back catalogue totalling over 100 episodes. You get it all! 5 bucks! What a deal! Last week, we released the VOD of our live call-in show from November, and Chris James joined us to talk about "...And Just Like That". Plus we've got merch discounts, a discord, ad-free episodes, and more, so be a part of history! Mark Little is a comedian whose new podcast, "How Can We Help?" with Jackie Pirico comes out this January. Stay tuned for that and for all other Mark Little news over on his Instagram at @mark_little_comedy. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Nov val epidemije bomo zato lahko obvladovali le s cepljenjem in spoštovanjem omejitvenih ukrepov. This conversation with Murray Gingras is about how the first animals survived in low oxygen environments, based on Murray Gingras, James W. Hagadorn, Adolf Seilacher, Stefan V. Lalonde, Ernesto Pecoits, Daniel Petrash, and Kurt O. Konhauser's scientific article titled “Possible evolution of mobile animals in association with microbial mats”. What was the world like 2-3 Billion years ago during the Edicarian time period? What are some of the first trace fossils that we see on Earth? How did animals survive in low oxygen environments? How does the oxygen signature change around microbial mats?May this exchange serve to expand your geological knowledge on the go.For more information go to www.stoneconsulting.infoCitation: Gingras, M., Hagadorn, J., Seilacher, A. et al. Wissenschaftliche Wahrheit scheint bedroht! The gang steps out of their comfort zone to discuss the changes in the ancient atmosphere that resulted in the Great Oxidation Event. Meanwhile, Amanda demonstrates a careless disregard for hands, James gets creative with spelling, and Curt aims for comedic mediocrity. Up-Goer 5 Summary (Amanda Edition): Today the group talks about tiny things that make air that we can breathe. Long, long ago there were many tiny things that made air that we could not breathe. Less long ago there came along some little tiny things that made air that we can breathe. This air that we can breathe made almost all of the other little tiny things die because they could not breathe it. The group talks about these little tiny things that made both good air and bad air and how they made different kinds of rocks and used different kinds of rocks and air to live.
