After weeks and weeks, Málaga finally put in a great performance away from home by securing a point at Eibar in a game they could have easily won. Could this be the big turning point for Málaga's travel issues?...Well, apparently not, as our boys were dumped unceremoniously out of the cup by 3rd tier Rayo Majadahonda. We'll look back on two very different showings on this week's podcast. Then it's back home this Saturday afternoon to take on Leganés in our final game before the winter break, so we preview the game as well as talking about whether José Alberto's job is in any danger.

Finally, Sales has seen the new Bond film. And of course her highlights include some obscure musical detail, the lavish shots of Daniel Craig's eye region and the specific panthery way he dismounts a motorcycle. Welcome, welcome, welcome to episode 214 of the Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip! Ladies and gentlemen, this right here is the official four person ‘Walk Like A Panther’ reunion featuring STEPHEN GRAHAM (aka ‘Mark Bolton’), NEIL FITZMAURICE (aka ‘Cliff ‘Edge’ Morris’), DAN CADAN (the writer and director) and - for credit’s sake - SCROOBIUS PIP (aka ‘Terry’)!This is far from a casual bro-down with four mates getting along famously - it’s a proper acting masterclass, as the crew deliver gem after gem on the acting process and their method. Of course you have the molten core of Walk Like A Panther nuggets right there in the middle - let’s not forget that, as they are many and varied - but the tangents, the stories, and the wisdom all coat that core deliciously and provide a lovely, friendly and caring roundtable chat in Stephen’s garden. Which explains the birdsong ambience in the background. So enjoy, as you hear about acting with heroes and how to get around confidence dips or getting in one’s own head, taking risks, what it means to have other actors looking out for you, the pride of Liverpool natives doing good things as it wasn’t always easy back in the day to struggle through, and overall just absorb the inspiring communal-minded chat - who better to represent a film which is, at its heart, loving and communal in spirit. The perfect follow on episode after speaking to Kate Nash last week about 'Glow'.Oh - and naturally - BUY ‘WALK LIKE A PANTHER’ at your nearest convenience, eh!––––– ––––– –––––THIS EPISODE'S LINKS:• STEPHEN GRAHAM on TWITTER!• NEIL FITZMAURICE on TWITTER!• DAN CADAN on THE INTERNET!• WALK LIKE A PANTHER on TWITTER!• SCROOBUS PIP on TWITTER!• SCROOBIUS PIP on INSTAGRAM!• SPEECH DEVELOPMENT RECORDS • DISTRACTION PIECES NETWORK on FACEBOOK• DISTRACTION PIECES NETWORK on INSTAGRAM• NEW LISTENERS TAKE NOTE!!! WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME to the Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip! This is episode 185, we’re getting DEEP in the episodes now… A Brum phenomenon takes us through this one, a full on slammer of an episode featuring man like comedian and actor GUZ KHAN!Mad entertaining from start to end, as Pip sits down with Guz for a truly matey chat but which brings out the best of both! They were first acquainted back around a year ago on set on the upcoming ‘Walk Like A Panther’, where they behaved like naughty schoolkids on set by all accounts, and this is a catchup / roundup / ahead look at what Guz is involved with - a huge amount it turns out, and a wide range of topics get handled, such as Guz being new to the whole celebrity life and how surreal it can be (down to the weirdness of having a team), the importance of vibes on set and getting on with the crew, how he was essentially raised by three strong women and how that shaped his personality and humour, the art of storytelling, outrage vs laughing it off, teaching and how moments of discussion and clarity are so important to catch and build on, getting the tone right in filming in his hometown and creating a friendly space to do so, and just a whole ton more… Oh, and his new show ‘Man Like Mobeen’ on BBC3!
