On this episode of Indie Talk we are joined by Actor/ Writer/ Director Michael Elkin who is on the show to chat with us about his directorial debut Break. A Flick that was due to be released right when the Pandemic hit and has meant having to delay release in favour of still having a cinema release. However as always we get into it all with Michael including how he got his start as an actor at such a late stage and progressed through his career working with the like of Eddie Marsan and Martin Compston. Right up to now where he is gearing up to release his first feature starring up and coming Sma Gittins, A whole host of brit talent you definetly know and the late Rutger Hauer in his final role... Since recording this chat with Michael the team have announced that they will be premiering the movie through the Drive in Cinema Club late july early august. Which is fantastic news and we cant wait to see it.

Jude is a Stunt Coordinator/ Performer/ Cheroegrapher for some of your favourite flicks spanning all the way back to the late 80s. Working with the likes of Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Donnie Yen and many many more. We dive way back to when he decided to move over to Hong Kong at 18 in an effort to break into the action scene and has never looked back working on films like... Knock Off, The Medallion, Ultraviolet, Top Dog, Dracula Untold, Kigsman: Secret Service, Brothers Grimsby, Free Fire, Sand Castle, Transformers: The Last Knight, The Titan, Final Score, A Private War, Apostle, Ip Man 4 to name but a few... We really dive into his time working on the Apostle with Gareth Evans and TV show Gangs of London with Evans, which Jude had a huge hand in on the Stunts side. I cant even begin to express how interesting Jude was to speak to which will hopefully explain why this is the longest Interview episode 365 has ever done.

Kev sits down to chat with Actor turned Director Philip Barantini. After seeing his debut feature Villain starring the awesome Craig Fairbrass, Kev just had to get the Director on to talk. Before we get there though we find out that Barantini has had a varied career in Acting. Starting at a young age on Brit show Dream Team as young Billy O'Neil before moving onto Band of Brothers working for Spielberg and Hanks. Movies wise Philip broke into flicks like Ned Kelly, The Escapist and recently Nightshooters. All of this before turning to Directing with Short films like Seconds Out which is showing at Romford Film Festival this year. Boiling Point was his second short, a one take short starring Stephen Graham which has now been turned into a feature film coming soon. Villian is available on Dvd and all good streaming sites, we recommend the crap out of the flick. Its a London Gangster movie with a ton of heart and a compelling story breathing fresh life into the genre... You may have heard, or rather heard of the controversy of his movie A Landscape Of Lies which was caught up in a huge Tax fraud by its crooked Producers. Well its 7 years on and Paul was finally given the movie back and has pushed through to get it released on Dvd and Digital. Pauls next movie 24 Little Hours was shot in 8 days with a cast of 30 at 15 different locations. Just think about that for a second. The trailer looks incredible and we cant wait to hear more on this project.
