President Trump's decision to bomb Iran shocked much of the world — but America's involvement was over almost as soon as it began, and so far, it hasn't sparked a broader war, like so many feared. So how did we get here? Was the bombing a success? Will the ceasefire between Israel and Iran hold? Is the regime in Iran any closer to collapsing — and if it did, would that be good? Finally, what's the long term solution to the nuclear issue? Kara gathers a trio of experts to grapple with these questions, and more. Jason Rezaian is the Director of Press Freedom Initiatives and a writer for The Washington Post's Global Opinions. He was the Post's correspondent in Tehran before he was unjustly imprisoned by the Iranian regime, and he's the author of Prisoner: My 544 Days in an Iranian Prison. Jim Sciutto is CNN's chief national security analyst and the anchor of The Brief with Jim Sciutto. He's also the author of The Return of Great Powers: Russia, China and the Next World War. Robin Wright is a contributing writer and columnist for The New Yorker and a distinguished fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. She's the author of several books, including The Last Great Revolution: Turmoil and Transformation in Iran, and Rock the Casbah: Rage and Rebellion Across the Islamic World. Questions? Comments? Send us a textA 15-year-old Elvis Tribute Artist that many feel is Elvis reincarnated but looks like Joaquin Phoenix! He is the only singer in his family. The attraction started in second grade after his best friend dared him to dress up as Elvis for Halloween, which began the love affair for the King of Rock n Roll. Aiden also sings Johnny Cash, Josh Turner and a couple others but Elvis is his niche. He says, Elvis is a friend of his that he never got to meet and since 2nd Grade he has been singing his songs that began with “Jailhouse Rock.” Aiden spends an hour every day practicing Elvis's music. He states he has watch every single video on YouTube that Elvis has watched to perfect his mannerisms and movement and some of these moves come natural to Aiden. He has jumpsuits made specifically for him along with the replica clothes and he completely embraces this vintage look and mentions; he was born in the wrong era!Being part of a big competition in Memphis in the Big “little” King Division, he will be performing in the Graceland tent very soon, but Aiden really wants to be the Ultimate Elvis and has been to Tupelo, MS many times and performed right outside the birthplace of Elvis! What is next? VEGAS? Steve Pennington is his vocal coach for over the past year and half, and one Aiden believes in him in which the results speak for themselves. Pennington is the one to credit for posting his videos and putting the naysayers at bay that believed Aiden was lip synching by posting an A Capella video. How is he handling all the notoriety from his VIRAL videos? He tells us what long term plans are, and he has a plan B too! What does a teenager away from being Elvis? He ends with a beautiful story of the impact he has had on others. “I'll take your ‘Lord of This World' and raise you ‘After Forever'…” From “The Moses story” to “the shortest verse in The Good Book” to one of the creepiest spoken word intros in all of metal which references end time prophecy, the impact of GOD IN METAL can be found everywhere, no matter how subtle or obvious, positive or negative. Whether it's an album cover, a band's name, a song, or even direct Biblical scripture, there are endless references to GOD IN METAL across all genres of heavy metal, and we barely even mentioned Christian metal. Discover the truth about “A.I.” and why “pretty clean is not clean enough” (for some), learn about the “Christmas Vacation” reference (and the ensuing drama) we forgot to mention on our recent Metallica concert review, be sure to always exercise prudence & discernment regarding the concept of “easy hole” and remember that “Yeah, That Dude is huge, too” when you JOIN US for The Bunkerpoon Revival as we behold the divinely everlasting and eternally omnipotent impact of GOD IN METAL. May Pang was John Lennon's companion for the late-1973-to-early-1975 period that has become known as Lennon's “lost weekend.” Although Pang has used that phrase for her documentary and photo exhibition, she doesn't see this time as “lost” for Lennon. Not only did he record two albums (Walls and Bridges and Rock ‘n' Roll) and produce another (Harry Nilsson's Pussy Cats), but Pang reunited him with his son Julian and was there when he reconnected with Paul McCartney and considered writing with him again. She puts Lennon's Los Angeles nightclub antics in context, describes Rock ‘n' Roll producer Phil Spector's crazed behavior and details the night she and Lennon saw a UFO from their New York City balcony. She also recounts interactions with Yoko Ono, who set her up with her husband when Pang was the couple's assistant, and offers a surprising take on the recent Beatles release “Now and Then.” And she explains why George Harrison ripped Lennon's glasses off his face. Defenses have skewed towards the recent trend of taking the passing attack away. Offenses across the NFL have begun to use two tight end sets more than ever before, and we are having a revitalization of the fullback position in recent years. It's no wonder new Seahawks Offensive Coordinator Klint Kubiak is making this a big point of emphasis. Avatar frontman Johannes Eckerström joins Loudwire Nights to tease the band's next studio album, dive into their tour with Metallica and more.
Through Samuel the Word of God multiplied and brought stability. The promised judgment upon the house of Eli happened in the battle at Ebenezer - meaning both "the son of help" and "the stone of help". Had a faithful priesthood been present in Israel their Rock would have given His people victory. Instead disaster overtook the nation with the extinction of Eli's line and 30,000 carcasses lying as carrion upon the field. Though foolish sons treated the ark as a lucky charm in contrast to what Yahweh intended- contrast Numbers 10:35-36. Though emboldened by the ark's presence and contrariwise the Philistines dismayed, Israel fell before the foe whose battle cry should be that of the saints in their spiritual warfare (1 Corinthians 16:13). The great catastrophe for the 98 year old Eli and his devout daughter in law was the capture of the ark. Her final word was Ichabod, meaning the glory has departed. The glorious servant of Yahweh in Isaiah 50 showed that the glory returned in the Lord Jesus Christ, as his servant ear was ever open to the Word of his God and instructed his every thought and action. The chapter begins with the LORD as challenging the nation of Israel, who were claiming that their Sovereign had divorced them. This was untrue and the Almighty says show Me your evidence - show Me your bill of divorce. It didn't exist since Yahweh hates "putting away": Malachi 2:10-16. The prophecy of Hosea establishes that despite the nation's continued unfaithfulness their God was ready to take them back as His spouse after a period of separation and genuine repentance. Verses 4-7 contrasts Israel's behaviour with Yahweh's faithful Servant - our Lord Jesus Christ. The Father daily sent an angel to sharpen His Son's magnificently receptive mind to His Father's Word. The Son like the perpetual and voluntary servant under the Law opened his ear to that Word. Read psalm 40:6-8; Hebrews 10:5-10. This submission and acceptance of His Father's way helped to enable the Son to life the life of total service. Jesus was obedient unto death, even the death upon the stake: Philippians 2:5-11. Verses 7-9 describe Jesus' determination to die that death in Jerusalem by which our the basis for our redeeming was established:Luke 9:51. Note the context of this comment from Luke in chapter 9 verses 21-36; 43-44. As a consequence no adversary could stand before him and Yahweh would stand with His servant and provide him with the assurance that Jesus would overcome his foes in the name of his God: Psalm 118:10-29. Verses 10-11 tell those self assured false leaders that their Sovereign would extinguish their fire permanently.

The lights dim. The murmuring crowd nibbles subpar soft pretzels anxiously. The Sounds Like a Cult theme music begins to blare at ear-splitting volumes, pyrotechnics nearly blinding an old lady caught in the front of the mob as a spandex-clad (think Barbie meets Barbarella) Reese Oliver steps into the ring to tackle her biggest opponent yet: The Cult of the WWE. *DINGDINGDING* This time, Reese is flying solo— no tag team parter— but the glitzy world of WWE is too flashy, mythical, and impressively immersive to knock out alone. Joining her is James Bryant (of the YouTube investigative commentary duo Fundie Fridays) to help demystify: the sacred chants, fak- *ahem* scripted storylines, and secret right wing ties lying beneath the sequins that characterize this cult. If you've never watched wrestling, the inherent culty nature of WWE might not occur to you at first glance, but we invite you to ponder…Why are toddlers and senior citizens alike crying about John Cena in 2025? Is wrestling fandom culture ripe with toxic masculinity, or a healthy expressive outlet for unironic passion? Why does WWE's storytelling feel less like sports *yawn* and more like a shared religious experience? Is Vince McMahon's empire the ultimate cult of spectacle, or just capitalism in a sparkly Lucha mask? And wtf is his wife doing in the white house? Tag someone who smells what The Rock is cooking—this one's a steel chair straight to the dome.
