☕️If you told me I was going to been sitting down with Wezi today, two years ago and have a conversation with her, I was going to think you're joking. Wezi Muyembe Njovu is head of Marketing & Corporate Communication - UBA Zambia. She's a brand ambassador, Fashion and image consultant, she sits on the board of City of Lusaka football club (first female on the board), shareholder of Zambia fashion week and she's passionate about PERSONAL BRANDING. I sat down with her to have a conversation on Personal Branding. As we dive into today's conversation, here's one of my favorite quotes from her on Personal Branding; “Building your personal brand doesn't mean you are working on being popular or becoming pop culture famous…..Building your personal brand means that you are working on being visible to the right people in order to access the relevant and meaningful opportunities for yourself……Fame and Personal Brand are not the same thing.” I enjoyed recording this episode, I hope you enjoy it too. We laughed, learnt and shared a little bit of some sarcasm too. Listen in and be inspired as you build your Personal Brand

WEZI, In her own words; The song 'Nyimbo Zako' means 'your songs' in Nyanja, a language that commonly spoken in Lusaka and many other parts of Zambia. I wrote this song because I believe that every situation in life has a song that best describes it. Music adds colour to this world so everyone should be at liberty to sing and express themselves through rain and sunshine. My inspiration to write this piece was a sad part part of my life where I felt I was being opressed and discouraged to be creative. I was telling myself in turn singing to my soul saying, "Wezi sing on... sing your own song.. keep writing and one day they will hear you speak out and see you break free.” - Wezi Everyone can get the Free Download on Locksmith Records's iTunes Podcast & Podomatic.
