Jamal Hodge is a cool person who I am surprised wants to talk to me. This is the first half of a full interview with him where we mostly just shoot the shit but then it gets existential? Provocative? Soap dish maker Cassandra Kellam (@earthling.earthling) and soap maker Christine Tan (@xchristinetan) join fomo foundation to unapologetically push their sick and twisted cleanliness ideologies. Cassandra J. Kellam (Upstate New York based designer and sculptor) has worked in concrete over the past five years. Originally a ceramicist, Cassandra shifted to concrete during the six years she lived in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The architecture, and historic use of the material offered fresh perspective on her personal practice, and fresh ways to learn more about and apply mold making processes. Cassandra's recent shift to concrete has offered opportunities to reuse materials like broken pots, bisque wear or old projects and source natural materials to great textural variations and have a more sustainable studio practice. Christine Tan is a freelancer content creator and a soap maker who is passionate about life. She loves design – from architecture, fine arts to packaging. She believes that aesthetics and environmental sustainability can go hand-in-hand; you don't have to compromise nature to enjoy good design. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading and listens to one too many true crime podcasts. [from yacht21.com]

It's ok but also it's not. Whiteness is both good and bad for white people. Why do darker people suffer more globally??? Capitalism. Sexism. Why do white men talk like black men randomly when they meet them? Why don't white people usually know how to dance? Read Lewis Gordon.

John Swan is a delight. He is bursting at the seams if you know what I mean. Full of life. Simultaneously a calming and energizing force. I don't fully understand the music scene he runs in but hey guess what he was finished in the top 5 at the DMC World DJ Championship finals in 2018. I believe he also teaches NYC children how to DJ which is *very* chicken soup for the jaded adult soul. I hope u enjoy his vibes! Check him on IG at @johnswanjovi. Comedian Casey Salengo graced me with his energy this week. We talk about improv v standup, diff writing styles, UCB. Casey's experience of puberty. How eggs suck and how pickle juice rocks. Also I learned a little more about Casey's background and how he got into comedy and also how he worked and lived at a campground in what sounds like a fever dream of young adulthood. Very Slacker Parks and Rec meets Adult Wet Hot American Summer vibes. This is a full episode that is free for all the people because my business model is ...... chaos. I hope u lyk. Part 2 of a 3 episode release of my interview with Ed Malone (@clownguru) whom the NYTimes has called a "deft physical comedian". He's perhaps best known as a "clown guru" (or, in my understanding of that phrase -- a teacher of clowning). Students of Ed's clown class have appeared on Saturday Night Live and a variety of shows on NBC, CBS, HBO, FX, Comedy Central, Adult Swim, MTV, RT as well as major comedy venues throughout New York, including Carolines on Broadway, Gotham Comedy Club and the New York Comedy Club. Ed also teaches Clown at Suny Purchase College. Half of this interview (parts 1 and 2) will be free to the public.
