Joyce is the founder and Chief Executive of the Consent Awareness Network, she's also an author, and a TEDx Talk Presenter. Joyce has been an expert witness and the architect of several legislative bills that can radically change how consent is dealt with by our justice system. Our panelists included Tamika (Tamika@hips.com), a pioneering activist and advocate leading a movement working to provide present and future black and brown sex workers in Washington D.C. full freedom, belonging, personal and political autonomy and agency, while decriminalizing sex work, Kai Lin Zhang Executive Director of Asian Pacific American Task Force in the NY State Assembly and Co-founder of Red Canary Song the only grassroots Chinese massage parlor worker coalition in the U.S. with over 9000 workplaces across the country. We also spoke with Alex Makulit, a gender-fluid Filipina American, organizer with US Prostitution Collective in San Francisco. We discuss the latest hate crimes against Asian American women and outline the ways in which our society provides a platform for this kind of hatred and hostility towards primarily women, racial minority communities, and sex workers. We also honor the victims of the mass killing with a song from the sex worker coalition, Red Canary Song, as well as a call-out of the victims.

Vernon Interview Roger Green, one of the key organizers of "The Coalition to Transform Interfaith," formerly know at the "Save Interfaith Coalition." The Coalition's work has resulted in a multi-hospital network in underserved communities self-transforming into worker and union cooperative facilitating, regenerative institutions. It has been predicted that the Vital Brooklyn movement will bequeath a transformational healthcare template that will unsettle America's healthcare sector. The Coalition is a group of community members and health care union representatives, participated in the drafting of Northwell's transformation plan. Vernon and Roger discuss the components of the plan, and economic innovations that were implemented to ensure that a portion of the $40 Billion of consumables and services are supplied by businesses within the local community. New York's Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act, or GENDA, has been proposed in the NY State Assembly but has not yet passed - so transgender people are not yet protected by the state's non-discrimination laws.
