This is the first time we've spoken with Matt since he and his team set up the amazing experiences for our FEO Awards Gala evening in Richmond Hill. Minto also talked about the new MAT tax being collected from Hotels, B&B's and Air B&B's that a portion of is being used by Explore Waterloo Region to offer grant opportunities to festivals and events in the region. The grants pay particular attention to events that generate overnight stays and long term visitors to the Region of Waterloo and the surrounding area.
