    Ocean Bottle was established in 2019 and is a B Corp certified reusable bottle brand. Since launching in 2019, Ocean Bottle has prevented over 11.9 MILLION kgs of ocean-bound plastic from reaching our oceans, that's equivalent to 1 billion plastic bottles.With the sale of each Ocean Bottle, 11.4kg of plastic (the equivalent of 1,000 ocean-bound plastic bottles) is collected globally, in coastal areas where plastic pollution is at its worst. As Ocean Bottle began to grow, the team realised that the way they were doing impact was a model that other businesses could use, and so, sister brand “Ocean Co.” came about. We're delighted to be joined by Iona Ratcliffe,  founding partner, and the first official employee of Ocean Bottle, now Head of Brand  - and Megan Boylan, Platform Partnerships Manager at Ocean Co. Join us as we chat about how they work with local collectors to benefits them and their local communities, how the industry has changed in terms of taking sustainability more seriously, and some favourite customer success stories. Thanks for listening!
