Hi,  to our lovely True Crimer's, thanks for listening and please help us spread the word by telling your friends and family about us.This week Kim is covering an American convicted murderer and body snatcher.Ed received widespread attention in 1957 after Cops discovered he had exhumed corpses from local graveyards and made trophies and keepsakes from their bones and skin. Gein also confessed to killing two women: tavern owner Mary Hogan in 1954 and hardware store owner Bernice Worden in 1957.Gein was initially found unfit to stand trial and confined to a mental health facility. María Delfina González Valenzuela, María del Carmen González Valenzuela, María Luisa González Valenzuela and María de Jesús González Valenzuela (known as Las Poquianchis) were four sisters from the north-central Mexican state of Guanajuato. From 1945 until 1964, the sisters ran "Rancho El Ángel"', the locus of their largescale prostitution ring and the site of the murder of at least 91 people.It is believed that the four sisters killed more than 150 people or even more than 200 people. Junko Furuta was a 16 year old Japanese high school student who was abducted, severely tortured, repeatedly raped, and murdered in the late 1980s. Her murder case was named "Concrete-encased high school girl murder case" , due to her body being discovered in a concrete drum. The abuse was mainly perpetrated by four teenage boys, Hiroshi Miyano, Jō Ogura, Shinji Minato, and Yasushi Watanabe.Who only served short sentences because they were 18 years old or younger at the time of the horrific crime. Edmund Emil Kemper III Dec 18, 1948 an American serial killer, serial rapist, cannibal, and necrophile who murdered ten people.Killed his paternal grandparents and mother. He is noted for his large size, at 6 feet 9 inches ( and his IQ of 145. Nicknamed the Co-ed Killer, as most of his victims were female college students.His parents divorced; as a child, he moved to Montana with his abusive mother before returning to California, where he murdered his paternal grandparents when he was 15. He was diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic by court psychiatrists and sentenced to the State Hospital as a criminally insane juvenile.Released at the age of 21 after convincing psychiatrists he was rehabilitated, Kemper was regarded as non-threatening by his future victims. He targeted female hitchhikers, taking them into his vehicle and driving them to secluded areas, Killing them before taking their corpses back to his home to be decapitated, dismembered, and violated. Kemper then murdered his mother and one of her friends before turning himself in to the authorities.Found sane and guilty at trial in 1973, he received eight concurrent life sentences.   Watts born May 16 1985, Shanann Watts, born Jan10 1984 They met in 2010   they were married 2 years later Shanann gave birth to Bella Marie Watts (born 17 Dec 2013  second daughter Celeste Cathryn or "CeCe" Watts (born 17 July 2015).    In June of 2015 the couple filed for bankruptcy  Watts was working as an operator for   Anadarko Petroleum, while Shanann worked from home selling a product called Thrive,    Shanann was 15 weeks pregnant with a son named Nico Lee.  June 2018: Watts starts talking to Nichol Kessinger Chris wraps Shan’ann in a blanket and carries her to his truck.  He puts the kids in the backseat  Kessinger works at Anadarko Petroleum  he came by her office and struck up a conversation..   They meet outside of work later that month.   By July 2018: their relationship becomes sexual, seeing her about four or five times a week    August 9,: Shan’ann leaves on business to Arizona  Aug 11  Watts hires a babysitter and goes out with Kessinger  Shanann returned home. Armin Meiwes was born 1 December 1961 in Germany.He is a former computer repair technician who achieved international notoriety for killing and eating a voluntary victim Bernd Brandes in 2001, who he had found via the Internet. After Meiwes and the victim attempted to eat the victim's severed penis, Meiwes killed his victim and then began to eat a 20 kilograms of his flesh. He was arrested in December 2002. In January 2004, Meiwes was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to eight years and six months in prison. In a retrial in May 2006, he was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. She was born around 1620 in Palermo and was possibly the daughter of Thofania d'Adamo, who was executed in Palermo on 12 July 1633, accused of having murdered her husband Francis. Tofana was described as beautiful, and she spent a lot of time with apothecaries, was present when they made their potions, and eventually developed her own poison, Aqua Tofana. It is, however, also possible that it was her mother, Thofania d'Adamo, who made the poison and passed the recipe on to her daughter. She began to sell this poison to women who wanted to escape abusive husbands. Her daughter, Girolama Spera, was also active in this. She eventually moved her business to Naples and Rome.Giulia was sympathetic to the low status of women and most often sold her poison to women trapped in unhealthy and dangerous marriages. She became known as a friend to the troubled wife and received many referrals.her business was finally revealed to the Papal cops by a customer. She escaped to a church, where she was granted sanctuary. When a rapid rumour, claiming that she had poisoned the water, tore through Rome, the police forced their way into the church and dragged Tofana in for questioning.Under torture, she confessed to murdering 600 men with her poisons in Rome alone between 1633 and 1651, but this cannot be confirmed owing to the torture and the widespread distribution of the poison. She was ultimately executed in Rome, together with her daughter (Girolama Spera, known as "Astrologa della Lungara") and three helpers, in July 1659. After her death, her body was thrown over the wall of the church that had provided her with sanctuary. Show notes:The Ararat lunatic asylum opened in 1867, 205 Kms away from Melbourne.It was used to relieve the prison system of those that were thought to be the most criminally insane and irreparably evil. it housed 1000 patients and 500 staff and had about 100 deaths a year.Today the building is used for ghost tours, visitors report unexpected fainting, feelings of nausea and pains, ominous smells and “methodical banging sounds” like patients hitting their head against walls.some visitors have reported feelings of being “shoved and bitten,” and have heard sounds of shrieking voices, ticking clocks, and have also had electric interference with cameras and other electrical equipment.
