Myrina and Tristan step further out of their comfort zone by going out of town to spend the weekend with play partners they met at Naughty N'awlins the year before. Myrina and Tristan decide they want to start a podcast but aren't quite sure how to talk to people about their idea. They attend a podcast conference and tell anyone who asks, what their podcast is about! (Spoiler alert: it's THIS podcast!) Myrina meets a vanilla guy who is "all-in" at trying his luck with a swinger hotwife. Tristan and Myrina finally visit Secrets Hideaway and Resort outside of Orlando, Florida with a plan to meet another couple for a night of play. But things don't always go as planned. 

A few months ago, Myrina and Tristan met and chatted with a couple at Caliente. Fascinated with their journey and story, Myrina and Tristan asked to interview them for the podcast.  Rob and Trudy are living their best life, together. They met as swingers, eventually started dating as swingers, and then got married and are still swinging! You can find them often as nightclub hosts at Caliente, or perhaps in one of their new endeavors, adult films. Rob and Trudy share some of their stories, their insights into the swinger lifestyle, how they told their families about their lifestyle choices and how they've made this all work! 

When Myrina and Tristan met Phoenix Phyre and Crimson Dragonfly at Naughty N'awlins in 2019, little did they know that their lives would be changed forever. The instant connection the two couples experienced, certainly was too good to be true. But as time went on, and the couples grew closer, they found themselves on yet another unexpected, dare we say "accidental", leg of their journey.  Listen as Myrina and Tristan meet Phoenix and Crimson for the first time in New Orleans and then end up being one of the couples in Myrina and Tristan's first group playroom orgy. But beyond the sex and the love that was growing within the foursome, another passion emerged; educating swingers about kink and kinksters about non-monogamy. Through that passion, the quad created Swinky Life -  life at the intersection of swinging and kink. With Swinky Life, the two couples teach and educate the swinger and kink communities about each others' worlds. They encourage safe exploration of all alternative loves and lifestyles so that others can also enjoy living the Swinky Life.

Kink was the scary unknown, and was a hard limit for Myrina and Tristan. Then they met "The Captain". He slowly, purposefully and methodically introduced them to the spectrum of kink and BDSM. Starting with the sensual, softer side of kink then moving into sensation play, then impact play.  Myrina was skeptical and anxious but all of that faded away when she began to experience pleasure in ways she did not know her body could handle. The Captain also spent time teaching Tristan even more about this style of play and how to use it to create even more intense experiences with his playmates.

Kink and BDSM were the two things that Myrina and Tristan said were a "hard no" when they entered the lifestyle. Naivete, ignorance, and unfamiliarity with this new world led to a lot of apprehension and fear. So much so, that those were the only things they specifically called attention to in their swinger profiles that they would not explore. Then they met "The Captain". Deciding to open their minds and gently push their boundaries, they agreed to meet a single man who was clearly active in the kink and BDSM realm. Little did they know, meeting The Captain would change their lives and become a pivotal step in their lifestyle journey.

Myrina and Tristan interview 7-year lifestyle veterans Michelle and Scott in what turns out to be one of the most thought-provoking, honest, and open interviews to date.  Michelle and Scott share the stories of their own struggles and challenges to maneuver through their lifestyle journey. The naked foursome (yes, everyone was naked for this interview) discuss acknowledged double standards, retraining your brain, and why they feel the most important thing is having faith in your love. And it's all thanks to the Accidental Swingers podcast listeners!  To share in the excitement, Myrina and Tristan will treat a lucky listener couple to fun day in the sun at their favorite local clothing optional resort. The lifestyle couple also talks about their weekend at PodBash 2021 at Secrets Hideaway in Kissimmee, FL. It's been two years since their last visit; Myrina and Tristan discuss their experience and find out why Tristan might be having second thoughts about a statue he encountered while at the resort!

Almost a year into their adventures, Myrina and Tristan begin, what will turn out to be, a pivotal time in their lifestyle journey. Unbeknownst to them, the couple is beginning a period of exploration and starting to push their limits and sexual boundaries.  The first in the Exploring Sexual Boundaries episodes, Myrina and Tristan give a local clothing-optional resort another chance where Myrina meets a great single guy and steps out of her comfort zone ... but mother nature has other ideas. Plan B leads to the realization that Myrina might be more of an exhibitionist than she knew!

Every couple who has entered, or thought about entering, the swinger lifestyle worries about the emotions and feelings that come with seeing your partner having sex with another person. They worry about having feelings for others and what impact it can have on their current relationship. Crimson Dragonfly and Phoenix Phyre join Myrina and Tristan in this roundtable discussion about feelings and emotions in the swinger lifestyle. They talk about the fear and jealousy that can occur as well as feeling conflicted and the guilt some feel when they suddenly have feelings for one of their play partners. The foursome shares some of their experiences, talk about their own issues dealing with jealousy and guilt and share what happened when they first experienced intimate feelings for a lover. They also uncover the magic bullet to working through all these issues: communication with your partner; and give some tips and examples of how to do just that.

The Accidental Swingers discuss the tough choices Myrina had to make as a Hotwife when it comes to playing with "single" men. She made some decisions about what consensual non-monogamy means for her when it comes to playing. They talk about the week of play with Myrina's visiting boyfriend and why that relationship is coming to a very visible end.  They introduce their newest playmate, "Brad" and they talk about their first time playing with a single guy after meeting him for a first time that night. And, in pure Accidental Swinger fashion, how they f'ed that up but learned some great lessons!

Days after returning from her hotwife trip, Myrina and Tristan go on a sleepover date with Tristan's girlfriend and her husband. Wanting to experience some one-on-one girl time without any men around, Myrina and Amber decide to leave the guys at the bar and have their own playtime. Afterward, Tristan and Amber almost get us thrown out of the hotel. And later what looked like an evening cut short for Myrina turns into a hot FMF and then a long night for everyone!

In this bonus podcast episode, Myrina and Tristan talk about the circumstances and issues that brought them to the point of reconsidering their plans to attend Naughty N'awlins 2021.  They also discuss what happened in their "vanilla lives" that subsequently turned ALL of their hot and sexy vacation plans upside down.

Myrina and Tristan share their feelings with each other after Myrina arrives home from the trip that solidified her status as a Hotwife and afforded Tristan the opportunity to have a few "hall passes" of his own. As Tristan often says, this time was an "inflection point" in their lifestyle journey. They also talk about their upcoming return to Naughty N'awlins and realize, in a strange way, they've come full circle as they return to New Orleans but they bring with them 3 years of wisdom, knowledge and growth to the experience that awaits them this year.

Experiencing sex and sexuality on HER terms, Myrina's transition into a Hotwife and Slut begins. After her 10-day trip turned into a 3-week stay, Myrina took full advantage of her "hall pass" and ended up with playdates almost every single night for the second half of the trip. Myrina and Tristan, separately, both recorded their thoughts about the transformation that was taking place and the emotions that surrounded what was obviously a huge shift in their lifestyle dynamic.  Myrina also encouraged Tristan to have a few "hall pass" dates of his own and he talks about a surprising reaction to the style of play one of his dates prefers.

In May of 2021, Myrina and Tristan decided to start recording, what they call, "After Party Episodes". Myrina has to travel to her childhood home to help out family. With ten days away from home, Tristan tells Myrina to let her hair down and try to use her "hall pass". Little did they know that what was supposed to be a 10-day trip would completely change both Myrina and Tristan forever.  

What do an over-served playmate, pierced "lady parts", a drummer, and an exhibitionist all have in common? They're the collection of steamy, sexy, and fun stories that round out this episode. Nine months into their lifestyle journey was the end of the year and Myrina and Tristan went out with a bang .... literally!  Hearing that the holidays were a downtime for swingers, Myrina and Tristan packed their calendar with playdates and playmates. The year-end brought closure to one relationship but unknowingly opened the door for experiences and a transition that Myrina and Tristan were not expecting.

Not quite as accidental or unexpected as the accidental boyfriend; we kinda saw this one coming. So why do Myrina and Tristan find themselves, once again, surrounded by so many emotional landmines? Myrina struggles with Tristan's new relationship. Communication, sharing and trust become the key components to navigating these feelings and issues. Myrina digs deeps to understand her feelings and has a few epiphanies that help her understand her reaction to Tristan's new girlfriend. A valuable experience for two relatively new swingers to have to face head-on.  With continued clarification and reworking of expectations, Myrina and Tristan have one of the most hot, steamy and sexy playdates with Tristan's girlfriend and her husband!

Accidental and unexpected. Myrina's relationship with a playmate heats up, especially as they spend more time getting to know each other between playdates. Their relationship transitions from playmates to lovers to boyfriend and girlfriend and Myrina and Tristan must face the first enormous obstacle in living and experiencing the swinger lifestyle on their terms.   Tristan and Myrina meet a new lady-friend and sparks fly between her and Tristan. Their play escalates quickly and Tristan has his first solo playdate. However, a breakdown of understanding and communication causes big problems for Myrina. It forces Tristan and Myrina to take a long hard look at the issue and figure out what went wrong when everything should have been so right.

Deciding to push their boundaries a little further, Myrina and Tristan check another item off their "bucket" list with a visit to an adult bookstore and theater with another couple. But were they ready for all that this adventure had to offer?   Myrina and Tristan also discuss Myrina's first real solo "date" with a single guy in the lifestyle. Tristan talks about how he felt, waiting at home, watching baseball while his wife went out to dinner and a playdate. 

It was going to be awesome; until it wasn't. We've all done it. Built something up in our minds, just knowing how great the experience is going to be. The excitement. The buildup. The anticipation. And then, it falls apart. Myrina and Tristan share stories of dates that did not go as planned and learn a very valuable lesson in managing their own expectations for relationships they are building with other swinger couples.

Two newbie swingers travel to “the largest open-relationship lifestyle” event in the US in New Orleans.  We didn’t know what to expect or what we were doing.  The experience ended up changing our entire perspective of what our lifestyle journey would look like.  Join us as we share our hot and sexy stories about our trip to Naughty in N’awlins (NiN), the event that helped build the foundation of our transition into non-monogamy.  (Click here more information on Naughty N’awlins and to make reservations for the next event.) Part 1 of this 3 part series: Excited yet totally terrified, we were determined NOT to show up to Naughty without “knowing” couples in advance.  Myrina devised a way to connect with people in Florida were going to NiN as well, and could be potential playmates for the future!  Day 1, we arrived bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and dove right in to bar takeovers and parties.  Having been in the lifestyle for only about 4 months, we’d never been to a house party, a group party or done anything more than have a foursome with another couple.  Yet here we were in NOLA with approximately 1,000 couples and a laundry list of things we wanted to try and experiences we wanted to have. We talk about finally meeting, in person, some of the folks we’d connected with in the weeks leading up to the trip as well as one special connection we made with another couple.   You’ll hear about our tour of the amazing playrooms at the hotel and whether or not we decide to play their on our first night at NiN!

Even savvy Swingers can't always avoid drama. In situations when things may not be going exactly as planned, just realizing when to slow down, when to step back and knowing when to say "when" can help keep you from stepping on landmines and getting caught up in some drama. But, we're the Accidental Swingers and, as usual, we learned these lessons the hard way.   We talk about three back to back dates with different couples; we learn the value of trusting your instincts and the importance of sticking to the plan.  Unfortunately we didn't know any better and flubbed our way through some uncomfortable situations!   A vanilla date with a lifestyle couple turns into a playdate, that, honestly, should have stayed a vanilla date. We run into some drama with the wife of one of the couples that we play with. And, in a moment of weakness, Myrina ignores her inner voice and allows a meet and greet date to turn into a playdate.  We definitely have some sexy fun but honestly, we should have stayed at the bar!
