Economy Interesting Development – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney Announces New Limits on Foreign Steel and Aluminum, With New 25% Tariff on Steel Derivative Components   Prime Minister Mark Carney is conceding defeat to President Trump and positioning the Canadian economy to be compliant with U.S-Mexico trade regulations. However, Carney is not saying that, indeed he cannot; he's spent over a year telling Canadians that President Trump's trade and economic demands are not going to be accepted by Canada.  However, what he is factually doing is exactly what President Trump has demanded. Prime Minister Carney is saying he is restricting Steel and Aluminum imports from non-free trade agreement countries, and he is lowering the tonnage of Steel and Aluminum that will be permitted for import.  His claim is that this approach will help drive up “domestic demand” for Canadian Steel and Aluminum, but that's ancillary to the real objective. President Trump has demanded Canada stop importing cheap steel and aluminum mostly from China; including manufactured component goods that are made with steel and aluminum (think autos).  Canada would not stop, because they could not stop.  Their manufacturing base, green energy and climate change economy, is more of a component assembly system now. So, President Trump hit Canada with a 35% tariff, and things got ugly.  In June Trump raised the tariff to 50%. The back and forth has gone on all year. Carney now announces restrictions on imported steel and aluminum, as well as restrictions on imported derivative goods that come from steel and aluminum, in combination with a spending plan to bolster the Canadian steel and aluminum manufacturing base.  This ends up shifting the Canadian industrial sector to making steel and aluminum products without Chinese import dependency. If you've ever felt the power of a song that lifts your spirit and stirs your soul, you might owe a debt to this remarkable artist. Crouch, who passed away in 2015, didn't just sing about faith—he made it feel alive, urgent, and utterly human.Andrae Crouch was one of the top soul gospel artists of his time, blending infectious rhythms with profound messages that reached far beyond the church pews. His 1979 hit, 'Jesus is Lord,' is a perfect example from his 1979 album ‘I'll be Thinking of You'. By the time I finished listening, I truly knew who Jesus was and what He had done. Crouch's lyrics painted a vivid picture: 'I tell them Jesus was wounded for my transgressions, and He was bruised for my iniquities.' Then he'd build to that soaring chorus: 'Jesus—He was sent from the Father; Jesus—He's a great Messiah.'It was soul music at its finest, with Crouch's rich voice turning ancient scripture into something that felt like it was straight from the streets. He walked upon the water, as he sang, and calmed the raging sea—making Jesus sound like a soul man to me, full of grit and grace. That's what came through in every note: a deep, personal conviction that connected with so many.Crouch didn't stop there. Songs like 'Soon and Very Soon' brought a joyful anticipation to the gospel genre, promising that 'we are going to see the King.' I grew up in an era when gospel music was simpler, often stripped down with just a few instruments—a piano, maybe a humble choir. But when Andrae Crouch arrived on the scene with tracks like 'Jesus is Lord' and 'Soon and Very Soon,' it was like a revolution. He infused it with layers of soul, funk, and even a touch of what some might call 'worldly' flair, expanding the sound and making it accessible to new audiences.And that's no accident. I once read an article in the Los Angeles Times where Crouch opened up about his approach. He said he purposely alternated upbeat, enjoyable Christian songs with ones that carried a deeper message—songs that might not sound recognizably religious at first listen. In this conversation, Chris and Angelo sit with Chris's buddy Kevin K to discuss competitive archery and its relation to hunting archery. Kevin shares his background in archery and how he got into competitive shooting. They talk about the importance of mental preparation and the challenges of shooting in big competitions.  The Boys also discuss the significance of anchor points and the importance of consistency in form. They touch on the practice and preparation required for both competition and hunting, including the use of timers and the need to adapt to different scenarios. The guys also mention the benefits of shooting at 3D courses and replicating realistic hunting scenarios.
