I started documenting Goliath Ventures on 1 September 2025 after investors began quietly telling me withdrawals had stalled.At the time, the explanation was simple: liquidity delays, wallet restrictions, MSB approvals in progress. Weekly emails reassured everyone that patience was required. What began as a financial dispute has now become a federal criminal case.Christopher Alexander Delgado, CEO of Goliath Ventures Inc, has been arrested and charged by the United States government with wire fraud and money laundering. The Department of Justice is alleging that what investors were told was a sophisticated cryptocurrency liquidity pool operation was, in fact, a $328 million Ponzi scheme.THE SCAM BEGINSAccording to the federal complaint, from January 2023 through January 2026 Goliath Ventures raised at least $328 million from investors. The pitch was modern and technical. Funds would be deployed into cryptocurrency liquidity pools. Monthly returns between 3% and 8% were presented as achievable. Some were told returns were effectively guaranteed. Joint Venture Agreements promised principal would be returned “without diminution or impairment,” with withdrawals processed within five to seven business days.That language created confidence. The contracts looked structured. The dashboards showed monthly distribution rates. The numbers increased. Investors saw what appeared to be performance.THE STRUCTURE UNRAVELSFederal investigators now allege that although investors were told their money was being placed into liquidity pools, little to none of it was meaningfully deployed that way. Instead, the complaint states that new investor funds were used to pay purported returns to earlier investors, to return principal to those requesting withdrawals, and to cover corporate and personal expenses.Bank records cited in the complaint show hundreds of millions flowing into specific business accounts. Approximately $253 million was deposited into one JP Morgan Chase account. Another $75 million went into a Bank of America account. Tens of millions moved into Coinbase wallets allegedly controlled by Delgado. He was identified as the sole signatory on key accounts.Blockchain analysis, including work performed by Chainalysis Government Solutions, allegedly showed only a small fraction of funds ever reaching platforms like Uniswap. Meanwhile, investor dashboards continued to reflect steady monthly returns.If proven, that gap between representation and reality becomes the core of the case.THE LIFESTYLEThe complaint also details real estate purchases allegedly funded with investor money. Properties in Winter Park, Kissimmee, Windermere, and Sanford, each valued between approximately $1.15 million and $8.5 million. The government outlines transactions that form part of the money laundering count, including a $300,000 transfer cited in the charging documents.For months, investors were told delays were temporary. Meanwhile, according to the affidavit, funds were cycling internally and assets were being acquired.THE ARRESTOn February 24, 2026, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida issued a press release titled “Goliath Ventures CEO Arrested for Wire Fraud and Money Laundering.” The case is now formally listed as United States v. Christopher Alexander Delgado, Case No. 6:26-mj-01240-LHP.The investigation is being conducted by IRS Criminal Investigation and Homeland Security Investigations. Next month, Mecum Auctions hopes to cash in with a 1995 Corvette ZR1 Phase 5 engine still sealed in its original crate. The engine will go up for sale at Mecum's Kissimmee (kuh-si-mee) 2026 sale.The factory‑sealed LT5 crate engine underscores a growing demand for standalone powerplants as collectibles. Mecum has seen a surge in “component collectibles” as enthusiasts are increasingly bidding on rare transmissions, engines, and even factory tools. The auction listing emphasizes the engine's untouched condition, complete with original packaging and documentation.Recent sales of LT5 engines have fetched up to $50,000.

My first ocean cruise was a cruise from New York City to Bermuda. I'd never been on a big ocean liner before. Although I've done a couple other ocean cruises since then, I'm not really a fan. I love exploring, and there is only so much exploring you can do on a ship in the middle of the ocean. But on this first cruise, I did love the feeling of being in the middle of the vastness of the ocean with nothing but water all around. The feeling of not having any landmarks - literally - was a little exhilarating and more than a little awe-inspiring. Naturally, I wasn't really frightened; I assumed, logically and correctly, that the captain and crew knew where we were heading and how to get there. I myself wouldn't have had a clue, but I never doubted that I could rely on them to get me safely to Bermuda and back. Nautical navigation is a mystery to me, and I was impressed by the notion that all the power and energy of the ship would have been useless if the captain hadn't set a direction and followed that direction with purpose. And that ties in with what I want to talk about with you today - the power of purpose. Our energy, our passion for playing the harp, is useless without a purpose. As I see it, purpose has two important ingredients. One is directional. When we have a goal we want to accomplish, we need to have a clear idea of how to get from here to there. This gives our practice a purpose every day. But purpose also encompasses meaning, specifically what our harp journey means to us. Without that meaning, our goals will not be as personally compelling and our progress will not be as swift. This is about our passion for playing the harp, not passion in a dramatic way, but simply our deeply felt conviction that we love playing the harp.  Today, I'd like to help you consider your passion and your purpose, and how you can align them to make progress faster and to make both the process and the results more easily achievable and more deeply fulfilling. Real progress in our playing comes from the alignment of our energies and passion - the ship in my example - with a direction and of course, the courage to pursue it.  So if you're feeling ready to be a little courageous with me, let's get started. Stephan Sterns entered into a plea agreement for the murder and sexual battery of Maddie Soto days before his trial on sex crimes charges was set to begin. Maddie had just turned 13 when she disappeared from her mother's condo in Kissimmee, Florida in February 2024. Police found more than 1,700 images of Sterns abusing Maddie on his google drive. Sterns pleaded no contest to Maddie's murder but guilty to sexual battery which allowed him to avoid a possible death sentence. Lindsay's story comes to us from Kissimmee, FL, where a young woman and her boyfriend decided to celebrate the man's birthday at a local motel by ordering a pizza delivered to their room. Everything was going swimmingly – until the police were called. Find out why! (Note: It involves drivers who will stop at nothing to drive home their opinions on the importance of gratuity.) Then Jethro takes us to the mountains above Tucson, AZ, where a gentleman was enjoying the sweeping views of the city before a late monsoon rain blew in to wash away the summer heat. Episode 135 Doe ID: Maria Telles-Gonzalez   On May 24, 1995, the partially nude body of an unidentified woman was found by a highway worker in a drainage ditch on Cottonhall Road in Yemassee, South Carolina. Authorities believed that the woman, who was Hispanic, had been strangled to death. Police didn't have much to go on, but they scoured missing persons cases across SC and nearby states looking for a victim who might fit the description of their Jane Doe, but they could not find one. They theorized that she had been driven quite some distance before her remains were discarded. With no leads to go on her case went cold. In 2020, officials turned to the victim's DNA for help, and began the process of identifying her through genealogy. They hit pay dirt in 2022. The Yemassee Jane Doe was actually Maria Telles-Gonzalez, a 36 yr old woman who vanished from Kissimmee, Florida in May, 1995 after returning from a trip to Puerto Rico. She was last seen by her husband and children in the weeks before her body was found, but she wasn't reported missing. Due to the fact she wasn't reported missing, and a lack of complete cooperation from her husband, police consider him a person of interest. Police also want to ID a male associate of Maria's who may have been in a relationship with her. They don't know much about him other than he was Hispanic, and his name was Carlos. He stands about 5-foot-8 or 5-foot-10, speaks Spanish and English very well. He may be living in the Orlando or Kissimmee area, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Now police are working to find out who murdered Maria and dumped her body.
