    Post Marathon Recovery - How To Recover After Your Target Race

    For months you put your heart and soul into training, pouring all of your energy, and dedication into that one day… and then it's over.  But no one really talks about what's next?   Recovery. After the high of the marathon, recovery can feel confusing.  You go from running all the time to doing absolutely nothing, and it's easy to wonder, “Should I be doing more?”  The main thing to remeber is that RECOVERY is not the same for everyone. And you need to listen to your body.  In this week's episode the why, what and how on recovery.     In this week's episode we are joined by the amazing Jess! Jess is coached by Hayley and has recently been training for the Brighton Marathon.  She had an amazing block, supported by Hayley and as a team they were able to take an hour off of Jess' PB from a year ago and almost 2 and a half hours off of her first ever 26.2!  Jess has an amazing go get it attitude and outlook on her training, especially after an incident a few years ago where she attempted to take her own life. Jess now embraces every day and gives everything her all! You can't not listen to this episode and smile throgh her incredible infectious personality and her can do attitude.     Vanessa Tillbrook - Hub Member Story - Good for Age and Boston Qualifier in 18 Months!

    In this week's episode we're joined by Hub Member, Vanessa Tillbrook.  Vanessa joined the community at the end of 2022 as began training for Edinburgh Marathon. As part of the Marathon Academy, Vanessa enjoyed the structure and connections with other community members.     Julia Harrison - Hub Member Story - Running is a Privilege
