They're bringing Raiders of the North Sea to America and a new game called Ex Libris is being published. A suprize move by Wizards of the Coast with Betrayal at Baldur's Gate. A stunning looking game being made called Unearth. Asmodee makes another big move teaming up with Alliance Distribution. Last, Deception: Murder in Hong Kong has a new expansion. Lawrence joins Zack again with Hex out at Megacon. For the first time Coral joins in to give her perspective! We talk about CMON putting in place a stop of marking down their games past a certain percentage. Renegade Games brings a newer theme with it's fairy based game called Atlas: Enchanted Lands. Wizkids also announcing a new negotiation game called Sidereal Confluence: Trading and Negotiation. We end the news segment giving our thoughts about the Spiel Des Jahres Nominations! We end the cast by talking about a couple of new games Sagrada and Honshu. Zack also goes off on Road Hog: Rule The Road. As always stay thirsty for games my friends! We're back and we kick things off with our International Tabletop day shenanigans, Hex demoed Robits and played Rock, Paper, Wizards! Hex also missed out on playing  Anachrony which we have been hearing a lot of buzz about. In the news, The Thing board game is finally shown off with two different versions. There will be a Dungeons and Dragons deck builder called Dragonfire. Between Two Cities gets a surprising expansion called Capitals. Rambo: The Board Game is a legacy game? Really! May the 4th brought a bunch of expansions with Heart of the Empire for Imperial Assault & Rise of the Empire for Star Wars Rebellion. We also compare a couple of Kickstarters as well for board game designers. Zack teaches Hex one of his favorite games Roll for The Galaxy! Also, Zack played a couple of games at International Tabletop day as well as a sleeper hit called Vikings. And as always stay thirsty for games my friends!

We recorded this on International Tabletop Day, so I guess happy late International Tabletop Day. We hope everyone had fun and played a ton of games. Hex gives us his thoughts on his upcoming release of Robits and we talk about the new box art....a lot. : ) In the news, another video game IP makes it's debut in the minature gaming seen with Fallout: Wasteland Warfare. Zack's very excited Catacombs is coming back in stock with the new expansion Catacombs: Wyverns of Wylemuir. Two new Sailor Moon games are announced which makes Hex very excited. Roll for the Galaxy has another expansion coming out called Rivalry. We have not got our hands on Arkham Horror: The Card Game but we can't wait to play it and the new expansion called The Path to Carcosa. We give a shout out to a local designer's game called Battle Monkeys and his Kickstarter Live stream which allows game designers/publishers to stream on the page itself. A Caverna two player game was announced! Finally, Sparky the stunt dog from Dead of Winter is coming in comic book form? Hex plays some games and might not of had the best experience with The Others. He also, played the latest Machi Koro edition with his wife. Zack runs through Exit: The Game escape room board games and Railroad Revolution. Renegade Games is pushing out another game this year with Sentient. Let the convention season begin! The Gama Trade show was this past week and lots of news came out of there. This event is for publishers to show off their new product to retailers. We have big news from CMON announcing "A Song of  Ice and Fire" & Eric Lang becoming their head of game design. Plaid Hat announced "Dead of Winter: Warring Colonies". Portal Games, also announcced "Detective". There was much more that we rapid fired off as well. Sugi plays Stockpile and Zack plays Euphoria, a game that has been sitting in Hex's collection that he's never played. Eric Lang and Bruno Faidutti team up to announce a new secret role game called Secrets. We go into a game that just released a print run called The Networks. He also played the popular Kickstarter Unfair and gives his thoughts about this theme park style game. We're back from Prototype Con and we get right into the swing of things. Zack starts off by talking about his midnight story to try to obtain a Nintendo Switch right after board game night. Hex also gives us insight on Horizon: Zero Dawn. Then we jump into a very exciting announcment from Monolith with them demoing off Batman: The Board Game. Weta Workshop has a Giant Killer Robot game on Kickstarter. Also, in the crowd funding game is a Jurrasic Park inspired board game called Dinosaur Island by Pandasaurus Games. This is the biggest episode for us because today we have some huge announcements! First we have our new website www.thethirstygamers.com! All of our content will be going directly to that site but keep in mind it's still in "beta" and the mobile version isn't done yet but should be ready in the next couple of months. Tabletop is back with their next playthrough of Monarch. Hex is excited about seeing a run through of SUPERHOT: The Card Game from Rahdo Runs Through. PAX Unplugged is a thing and we're excited that finally PAX is dedicating a convention to board gaming. But it's going up against another friendly con to the board gaming industry. Dragon Ball Z CCG has been canceled to make way for........Dragon Ball Super CCG. Days of Wonder announces their yearly hit. Level 99 gives us a game with rogue like mechanics, and Haba is back with a remodel of their classic Rhino game. Zack gives his thoughts on the first person shooter game Adrenaline. Sugi talks abouts World's Fair 1893 and gives us a nice insight on this little area control style game. We wrap up with the new release of Hanamikoji and this one took us both by surprise. We're back for the new year! 2016 is behind us but we want to give one last glance at our top five games of the past year. Zack and Hex talk about their Christmas adventures and the good and bad times of road trips. We play Hex's 1990's copy of Pen the Pig which he hopes to teach his kid in a year or two. We flip-flopped this week with Hex in and Sugi out. Hex gives us his birthday rundown and how his Thanksgiving went. CMON is moving up on the forefront of publishers selling shares on the Hong Kong stock exchange. Restoration Games has announced it's first three games, and Coma Ward has been announcced for Kickstarter in January. Zack gives his thoughts on Orleans: Invasion and how an unlikley co-op game is actually fun being played co-op.
