Mantic Games is currently taking pre-orders for two new 10mm armies for the Epic Warpath sci-fi wargame: the Veer-Myn and the Marauders. The Marauder Core Army, provided in high-detailed plastic, brings infantry and armored vehicles like Hammer Assault Tanks, while resin Marauder Reinforcements add heavy firepower, air support, and the massive Wolfcrawler Mech. Similarly, the Veer-Myn Core Army includes burrowing units like Stalkers and Tunnelers, built from ramshackle technology. Veer-Myn Reinforcements add monstrous units such as Brood Guard and Night Terrors, along with the large, weapon-bristling Technonest miniature. Financially-troubled publisher CMON plans to resume crowdfunding activities in the second half of 2026, following annual losses that soared to $19.9 million in 2025. This recent loss contributed to $23 million in losses across 2024 and 2025, prompting an independent auditor to question the company’s ability to continue as a “going concern”. CMON's directors maintain that the company is sustainable, citing financial support from directors and proceeds from the sale of its Singapore office and a recent share sale. The company’s liabilities are largely due to eight undelivered crowdfunding campaigns—including DC Super Heroes United and DCeased, now slated for Q4 2026—and five undelivered pre-order campaigns. CMON's new strategy focuses on reducing large-scale crowdfunding exposure, pivoting toward growth in the Asian market, and maintaining a streamlined operation with a reduced headcount. Free League announced an expansion of its Free Tabletop License (FTL) to cover five of its core role-playing games: Dragonbane, Forbidden Lands, Symbaroum, Coriolis: the Great Dark, and Coriolis: The Third Horizon. This royalty-free, irrevocable open game license permits third-party creators to publish their own adventures and supplements for these titles. Free League stated that this move will benefit the longevity and popularity of the games and the broader community. Furthermore, the expanded license supports third-party publication not just in English, but also in several other languages, including French, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, and Portuguese. Free League Workshop also announced Fomoria RPG, an upcoming folk horror game created in partnership with award-winning designers Tania Herrero and Johan Nohr, the co-creator of MORK BORG. Described as a game of “epic horror,” Fomoria is set in a dark, subterranean world where the sun is a myth and players navigate the “living, breathing labyrinth of shifting tunnels” known as the Strata. The game uses a modified MORK BORG engine and offers options for players to take on the role of subterranean creatures in a world “built of monsters and bones”. Napoleonica: Steel and Magic is a new high fantasy miniature wargame that reimagines the Napoleonic War with elements like Napoleon Bonaparte riding a Hippogriff. The miniatures are noted for their stunning, large-than-life resin casts from Signum Games. Mechanically, the game utilizes a system of drawing random Order Tokens and Maneuver Cards to activate units, which injects friction into army control reminiscent of games like *Memoir ’44*. Additionally, a bid for the Leader role determines the round’s intensity via an Escalation Card, which controls the number of Orders and Maneuver Cards drawn. En Garde is a forthcoming fast-paced, one-versus-one duelling game in the 54mm scale, set in a Low Fantasy world of swashbucklers and brigands. Conceived by John Blanche and Tuomas Pirinen, the game will feature hand-sculpted miniatures from artists like Paul Hicks, with an initial release via a crowdfunding campaign called Vanguard. The setting includes a twist with vampires being the “good guys,” and the core design aims to make duels dynamic and engaging beyond simple combat. The sunsetting of the BlackLibrary.com website and the Black Library Audio app will happen on August 31st. They are to be replaced by a single new Black Library app launching on March 18th that will feature an inbuilt eReader and MP3 player. Current account holders are urged to link their accounts and download older, unsupported content before the cutoff date. Community concerns are noted regarding the new app being a closed ecosystem with no integration for external eReaders or content from third-party sellers like Amazon and Audible, which ties into the ongoing DRM and “own versus license” debate among consumers. Asmodee made two major announcements, acquiring the Sheriff of Nottingham IP from CMON and striking a second deal with Netflix for Ticket to Ride. The Sheriff of Nottingham acquisition, following previous deals for CMON IPs like Zombicide, is attributed to CMON’s ongoing financial difficulties. Sheriff of Nottingham will join Asmodee’s Z-man studios. The Ticket to Ride deal with Netflix is similar to the Catan deal, granting a license for multiple shows or films. The first project will be a Ticket to Ride film, with Ben Mekler and Chris Amick attached to write the script. No premiere date has been set. Legitimate Salvage is a new game in the Forbidden Psalm line, a tabletop miniatures game about “corporate space horror” that is inspired by and compatible with the MÖRK BORG TTRPG. In the game, you control a crew of four working for the R&R company, whose business is rescuing people lost in space and who refuse to pay hazard pay unless someone dies, forcing your crew to work off their debt in the great uncaring void. After 20 years of being eligible for the World Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, INXS finally, on February 25th, 2026, have been formally nominated for inclusion, leading to an outpouring of global joy and pride amongst music fans and critics. Andrew Farriss exclusively shared with Billboard how proud he, his bandmates and the late Michael Hutchence would have been to be recognised amongst their peers. "To matter musically" was more important than fads, trends and commercial success, and this nomination is an important validation of this notion. INXS were one of ten new nominees out of a field of 17 artists recognised, and were understandably faced stiff opposition from fellow nominees such as Joy Division/New Order, Billy Idol and Phil Collins insofar as the Hall's recognition of artists that peaked in the 80's.
