Thời gian vừa qua, sau khi UBND phường Thượng Đình (quận Thanh Xuân, Hà Nội) đã gỡ bỏ nhiều barie chặn xe máy ở một số ngõ trên đường Nguyễn Trãi, thông với phố Thượng Đình, nhiều xe lại chạy vào ngõ rồi cắt ngang đường lớn để lên cầu vượt Ngã Tư Sở.

Có lẽ câu chuyện gây tranh luận sôi nổi nhất về giao thông đô thị những ngày qua là việc khu dân cư trục Thượng Định, quận Thanh Xuân (Hà Nội) đặt barie sắt vào khung giờ cao điểm ngăn xe máy vào ngõ, với mục đích tránh ùn tắc, hạn chế tai nạn, phiền toái trong sinh hoạt. Mặc dù đã được thống nhất cao trong tổ dân phố, tuy nhiên, sự việc nổ ra tranh cãi về tính pháp lý của hành vi khóa đường này. Liệu có giải pháp nào hài hòa hơn?

On today's episode I talk to musician Nora Singh. Originally from Texas, Nora nee Anna Barie started playing music over a decade ago with the Brooklyn experimental noise band These Are Powers. They released a number of albums on HOSS Records and Dead Oceans. In 2012, Nora moved to France and started the electronic duo DUBAI, and eventually ended up in LA, where she founded the "queencore" band Hit Bargain. Phillip S. Barie, MD, MBA, FCCM, discusses decontamination of the digestive tract and oropharynx in an attempt to prevent ventilator-associated pneumonia. He discusses a recent article published in The New England Journal of Medicine, "Decontamination of the Digestive Tract and Oropharynx in ICU Patients." Barie is Immediate Past President of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), as well as professor of surgery and public health at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York. He is also the director of surgical critical care and the surgical intensive care unit at New York Presbyterian Hospital. While Barie has not authored either of these articles, he is considered an expert in this field, which is very important to critical care practice.

The Society of Critical Care Medicine's president-elect Phil Barie, MD, MBA, FCCM, discusses a study published in Annals of Surgery, titled "Early Antibiotic Treatment for Severe Acute Necrotizing Pancreatitis."
